You know an episode is good when it feels too short despite it's runtime. When that last scene happened I thought "wait, what? that's this episode?" and then it ended, lol.
That was a short episode. Only 38 minutes?
Please tell me they're making Miranda queer.
Gretchen is high on peak white feminism.
Sex and the City: Biphobia Part Two (ft. Ableism)
I have so much to say and I don't even know where to start or how to say it. After such a great first season, season two was really a let down. It didn't really feel like the overall plot had a clear goal which made the whole season a big mess. So many things happen with either no payoff or with anti-climatic resolutions. Is this an attempt at telling realistic stories? I don't know. Instead of focusing on space travel, it focused too much on earth, too much on unsympathetic characters, and holy shit did they do Tracy dirty. I'm not even sure if the show wants the audience to be on Team America, Team Russia, or Team Mankind.
Why do they think the audience is going to cheer for a cheating man getting back together with his ex-wife?
Definitely the worst episode of the show so far. Gordo is not a sympathetic character and having an episode focused on him doesn't work.
When Mike was getting fired, Harvey threatened to quit, but he won't do the same for Donna? There's gotta be something else going on because that's just bullshit.
Excuse me? Excuse me? Excuse me? DarkAlina? Sorry. DarkAlina? Sorry. DarkAlina? Sorry. DarkAlina? Sorry. DarkAlina?
Praying to all the Saints that the women on this show will get better love interests
That farmhouse in the opening of the episode looked so much like the one Ellie and Dina lived in, surely that's not a coincidence :eyes:
It was amazing to see Ashley Johnson finally appear, and I did not spot that Laura Bailey cameo until the credits:eyes:
Pedro Pascal making me like a character I previously hated, and Bella Ramsey doing justice to a character I love. Could not have asked for better actors!
This adaption had it's flaws like the original, but honestly I think it's actually better than the game.
I'm going to miss this show so much, and I'm so hyped for the next season covering my favourite game of the two, and I'm so excited to see the live action version of more of my favourite characters from the game:heart_eyes:
Women getting their revenge against someone who abused them is my favourite genre.
So now that Callie isn't around to do stupid things, they're making Mariana do them? Could've at least texted Joaquin where she was going before getting in the car.
Can’t believe Big ruined Lily’s moment like that
It's missing Beth Greene hours.
This was so obviously written by a man it was painful to watch. A mark that becomes shiny once you lose your virginity? And assuming you can't lose your virginity if you've grown up surrounded by women? Yikes.
Why are they showing Beth and Dean’s backstory as if anyone wants them together? Are they trying to redeem Dean or something?
This show is just not enjoyable anymore. I have no idea how Daphne and Simon's relationship is going to recover after she raped him, and with the way the show is handling the topic I have no hope I would be satisfied with the resolution they came up with. Treating Simon as if his legitimate wish of being child free is nothing more than him being selfish, and that he just needs a good woman to teach him the error of his ways because a life without children surely cannot be anything but miserable. Daphne knew what life she chose when she married Simon, it does not matter what his reasons are for not wanting children, and it is not something she should be trying to change, but rather respect. She makes zero attempts to apologise for her behaviour because she selfishly things she has done nothing wrong, and the story takes her side instead of telling the story of her victim. Ending the episode with her crying because her horrible plot failed, as if she deserves any sympathy for the crime she has committed. And as if that wasn't enough, it's also disgusting the way the show is treating Marina. She deserves better, and Simon deserves better.
You know it's a Netflix show when it takes half a season for it to get exciting. Finally a good episode!
Not liking where this season is going at all. And please keep Gordo and Tracy away from each other.
I don't know what that intro was but I loved it.
This is the first episode where Charlotte makes any sense.
Aidan deserves better than this :(
I am an organic vegan, and my carbon footprint is miniscule.
Rachel is amazing. She knows what she wants and won't accept others treating her unfairly.
Gotta love the women on this show, the plot should be about them instead:sunglasses:
Sorry, is this the Kaz Brekker show? They've taken a story with a female lead character played by an actor representing so many minorities seeing someone like them on screen, and made it into yet another story about a white man. Disappointing.
I wish they'd skip this part of the game and come up with something better. Bella is doing an amazing job as always though.
It took nine episodes, but finally someone with good intentions is telling Gabrielle to stay away from John. I'm glad they focused on the fact that what she's doing is rape, instead of the much less important fact that she's (understandably) cheating on her abusive husband.
40s music, 40s fashion, a diverse cast with several queer characters and actors. What's not to love?
