i loved this. sure, some dumb script decisions at the ending with sara and the villain, but overall it was a great action episode. i still can't believe how they managed to improve the show so much from season 1 to this, keeping the right characters (with the exception of snart who i miss, but his absence gives us good mick and rory moments) and changing the way episodes happen.
this was good! this cast is really good. i wish ru and michelle would be this kind with the queens on the US version too, it's so good to see them respecting the different forms of drag (as respectful as americans in a competition show could be, right?). even the two queens that are gone are remarkable to me (not in nerve or talent level, but in charisma and mostly uniqueness)
laila should take notes frim the judges and use it to improve. it's not personal gurl, it's drag!
will smith is a storyteller. hollywood is full of these people. these are celebrities who mix personal life with narrative, in a way you can't tell which parts of what they say are true or not. they sell. this is one of the things i love about david letterman's interviews: he manages to extract some truths from the person, subtly and elegantly, without surrendering to charms but without being arrogant.
when people give this episode a bad review because they don't like will smith, they're failing to see how precious it is. you can see, in that fifty minutes, many true parts of will smith (including the toxic masculinity) which he usually hides but david and his team manage to extract. will smith is not a bad or good person. these are narratives. what david's interviews do is show the person behind the narratives. complex and contradictory people. it's a study. i love it.
i don't understand what happened to the series. there's so many new characters, it's like we're on another season. i feel like i didn't got to say goodbye to the other arc and there's a new one with new concepts and little conexion with the past episodes.
loved the episode. but the bag thing in the end, c'mon nadia, that was stupid
when did the mcu get so silly and dumb and... bad? oh my god, i just wanted to see people treating each other like actual adults in the real world, not these dialogues that seem to be made for children (and this is actually insulting to children, i'm sorry)
and the EDITING on this episode??? that was really terrible.
i'm missing something and i don't know what it is exactly... i'm not connecting with these characters and these situations in the highest level of concern. it's all kinda distant. the whole gayle situation and the sheriff's family... it's just uninteresting. i really hope to get some answers soon.
oh, and kevin is a fascist. terrible way to treat the laundry man.
luxxx is actually one of the best guests to the pit stop. she's one of the few that should be on every season of pit stop, along with violet and katya.
i love morphine love dion
I didn't expect to like this episode but it was really fun! the production and cast this season are great, truly one of my favorites ever. It is so satisfying that the judgment is being fair. I want sapphira to win the season, even though nymphia and q also have winner energy.
i actually love mhyia! and although i don't like this format of untucked, it gets better for me when there are only a few girls like this.
okay at this point it just seems like cheap exploitation of sadness. tiring.
It's not the best first episode I've ever seen, and the soap opera ending took me by surprise, but I found the proposal interesting and well executed, at least in this first episode.
q is so weird. sapphira is my winner, nymphia is a sweetheart, morphine is a goddess i love, plane is kinda weird too, and dawn is not giving anything new. i love this season.
I'm glad the show understood that we'd rather see the queens succeed than fail. morphine having her moment of glory in this episode was everything to me. he top placements were fair, and the bottom placements will forever remain in the imagination. for me, it would be fair if the bottom two were dawn and q, with dawn leaving, because even though mhyia has been in the season for way too long, she wasn't worse than these other two in the challenge.
i don't like orville peck as a guest, he's not as entertaining as brittany or t.s. madison
they didn't seem interested in this episode
i love this season, i think it's on the way to become the best season since season 9 in my opinion. so entertaining. ok, i don't think morphine deserved this bottom placement, and in fact, i thought my mother sapphira deserved it instead. i just can't see sapphira's look being better than morphine's. but the bottom placements were correct and the results of the lipsync were also correct, which is shocking but i really like it. i love that rupaul is kinda being fair. not another kandy muse or silky staying when they don't deserve it. love it.
they're right, either daya or angeria would be a better win for this ball than willow. production this season is weird.
bosco really deserved this win, she shined in the challenge. overall, i don't really like this cast and the production choices this season. i'm glad we have angeria, willow and kerri colby. angeria and kerri are the possible winners to me in this moment.
i agree with the tops and bottoms BUT i wish sapphira had won, i just think her performance gave more "snatch game winner" energy than plane's. it was a decent snatch game, not one person bombing. it wasn't spectacular either. i loved seeing mhyia in the top, she's a sweetheart.
for me sapphira was the winner
i love mhyia she's such a sweetheart
maddy's humor doesn't particularly work for me so this episode wasn't that entertaining
this was the least cool episode of the season so far, and the next one being about sound of music doesn't really excite me either. but the top three designs on the runway were beautiful, i thought plane jane and Q even deserved a double win. and the bottom placements and elimination were quite fair. the judges were something special on this episode, i wish this was the official panel with the addition of carson kressley.
this episode was so good, this season is great. but i don't think that we had a satisfying end for the amanda tori meating storyline. It would be more satisfying if production made her lipsync and lose to plane jane (the alyssa-coco treatment) or if this episode was fair and she actually eliminated Q, a frontrunner.
bob and mistress are so great together omg
mirage is such a sweetheart, i want to see more of her in the future. actually, i want to see more of all of these queens. season 16 rules. they have to make untucked more interesting tho. this isn't working.
damn this elimination was so sad! but it was a good episode. not as good as the previous ones because this snl comedy thing doesn't work for me but these queens are great. i'm surprised plasma won - she deserved that top spot, her barbra was awesome, but q and plane deserved to win more in my opinion. the bottom positions were right but i could see dawn there instead of mhyia honestly. and i'm bothered by how little screen time xunami muse's having... let her shine, production. don't make a robin fierce again.
