What an amazing movie...simply stunning visuals
A dull film that rushes through a threadbare plot and barely developed characters, the surprise here is such a talented cast is wasted, though Matt Damon seems at pains to admit in interviews he just wanted to work with the director. A shame then that the director's strength in visuals is nowhere near as impressive as his other films - sure the costumes and design are very well done but this is all lost in a mess of poor special effects and editing. If you're questioning plot developments from the opening scene then you know the film hasn't clicked and when the final resolution is straight out of the "How to stop a drone army with a Queen" manual, you know the film has problems. Very disappointing it is mercifully short and watchable only due to Pedro Pascal and Willem Dafoe who seem to be in just as much of a rush to get this over with as the audience.
It is impossible to capture the essence of infinite love, sublime mercy or unrelenting grace. When faced with even the shadow of these things, we walk away with more questions than answers. This film can't do it. The book tried it's best. We only truly see it in Jesus. But, eventually you have to find these answers in the submission of trust. We need to learn to trust God. That being said, I'm glad for films and books that point us in the right direction. Let's keep trying to reflect these big truths. I give this movie a 7 (good) out of 10, for a decent adaptation and some fine performances, especially Octavia Spencer and Alice Braga. I give the book a 9 (superb) out of 10.
I don't know why was I looking forward to this. It's disappointing.
Beautiful movie. Also, great performances by the actors, overall.
Enjoyable film but what's up with the horrible wig hair do Anne has, it's distracting throughout the movie and unnatural.
I'm not impressed with this season. The last two episodes were white boring, and they lacked any real substance. Looks like its time for regeneration!!!!!!
Idk what to do now, i'm dead inside.
Since the introduction of the "British men of letters", Supernatural has been falling off. I don't know what the fuck the writers were thinking when writing this crap, but I'm disappointed.
I think Tom's Rihanna was one of the best lip syncs ever!
I'm not sure how i'm gonna keep watching the show without the world's best boss Michael Scott :(
They got the winner wrong
Totally fucking hilarious!
it was a bit Japanese horror movie like ring and dark water...not bad start not very original though ....acting script was a bit weak...
I noped out on the moment that they did the "Enhance" thing on the Iphone image to a car accross the street to get a perfect and clear QR code.
There are so many technical and other errors, incosistencies or just plain stupid things in this show (super high covert team, but uses macbooks and big ass screens with important information facing open and clearly viewable windows. So basically anyone could stand outside and watch the highly classified information on the screen.)
Thats it, im done.
This was a bad b-movie, nothing made sense chaotic story and really ridiculous situations. The dialogous was abysmal
They got the look and costumes right. The cast is also perfect. So where did they go wrong ? Despite some fine looking action none of it is involving. Plus the video games pulls you into the 13th Century more than this movie does.
When Callum (Michael Fassbender) gets transported into the life of his ancestor, we mostly get all action and no character development. There's the making of a good video game based movie for once.
Except there's just not enough to the story to make you care about what's going on or the characters.
This was my first Madea movie I've ever seen, Madea as a character makes me wanna watch the rest. Has many funny moments as well as spooky.
The whole Neegan thing is just not believable, and this episode made that more clear. The amount of people that would view him with pure hatred would be off the charts, and unlike other fictional bad guys who act like this, he keeps no security around him 95% of the time. The guy would have been dead 1000 times over in a faithfully realized TWD universe. Hell, I've hardly got off my couch for the last 7 years and I could have killed him at least 20 times in this episode alone, not even counting the obviously missed opportunity by a battle hardened and hate filled teen in the early minutes. Also the Neegan performance was even more one-note-wondery than usual tonight. This show is really losing me now, I'm sad to say.
for the first time i was right in my prediction!! ngl i'm kind of relieved it was him and not any of my faves
so if everyone in negan's group is negan, then his new wife is negan too? i bet he calls her that in bed. that's fucking hilarious. and kinda sad.
I have not laughed this hard... I think ever, of a stand up comedy. I was honestly laughing out loud and making weird noises at her punch lines. Thank goodness no one else was home.
Even though she's older than me, she is pretty relatable being an asian woman like myself. I really enjoy her drama and ways of exaggerating (and I'd like to say, as a feminist, even though she makes fun of feminism, she does it tastefully and very light so I don't find her jokes offensive. I loved it.)
To anyone who wants to see this, do not watch it with your parents. But watch it with your friends, it will be a laugh! :)
This show is full of horrible people with severe daddy issues. Fitz is a putz, thinking his penis is a flagpole and anywhere he sticks it he's claimed as his for the glory of the republic.
OMG this writing on this show is superb best story telling in a long time to come along. It will make you laugh and cry and that was only the first episode. I am not even going to spoil this because you have to watch the story and you will be amazed how this story is told.
When you're ginger and your assumed parents are both dark haired but you don't give a fuck what people are whispering at school.
I loved this show and looked forward to it every summer. Going to miss HankMed.
Love that the evil queen is back but the storyline is bullshit. The evil queen IS Regina. There is no separating that. That's just part of who she is. This is ridonkulous.
such a boring episode unless your a big fan of Jackson and April sorry but all the rewinds etc... just don't see the point.
only fun part really is the dancing scene
What a day
What a lovely day
Good episode with great quotes like Captain Cold's: "This isn't my first prison break"
