Why does he jog in short distances?
Why does he hold the gun like his hand is soft limb?
Could we not afford bobby this episode?
Such a waste of Stormare...loading replies
@khawlah I love me some Gil....

And that, kids, is how you make vegan propaganda.
Edit: And by that I mean that I wanted to see an experiment but they clearly were biased towards methods, data, results, etc.

@david1979-66c0548d-56d3-432c-a4b4-e312c8718fd6 I meant like it was being pushed too hard. There are some data in there, I know FOR A FACT that science cannot measure yet, but they present it either way.

@hanrahan Nope, they most definetely are not. But I was expecting to see an experiment. I feel it was clickbait, that study didn't seem too controlled (sorry, English not my main language).
I agree with the premise, but that seemed a bit too amateur and biased.
How is this a comedy? I could only bear to watch until half of the second episode, some characters are unbearable!

@mariocr I was about to go crazy too and then it got SO GOOD!!!
I've never seen a Hallmark movie, but I imagine this is what they're like.
loading replies
@hgram Nope. Hallmark movies are way better. They have decent acting.

Knew I recognized the Jared guy from somewhere. The accent and haircut threw me off, but he's the main guy from that other show: United States of Al.
loading replies
@alexnader I actually remembered him from Rules of Engagement...
Can’t believe I watched this whole series for it to come down to this. What a joke.
loading replies
@sealy_boy indeed. what a cliché.
I enjoyed it. In contrast to some other series the changes from the book worked really well. It’s not often that these kind of political correctness works without damaging the spirit.
Hopefully they will make a second season (from the ending it might be 20.000 leagues under the sea).

@markus-schabel I would LOVE that!
They've made Deb too yell-y. She was never consistently that bad and I miss compassionate Debra Morgan.
loading replies
@dewdropvelvet I also miss the level of her cursery. She is now reduced to "fuck".
An entire episode filmed on shopcams, bodycams, phone cameras, CCTV footage and even helicams.
Just what everyone was asking for.loading replies
@jezzfreeman Don't know if you're joking or not. But I hate this camera angles switches. Doesn't add anything.
Free guy is every gamers / nerds wet dream! The jokes, the scenes it's so familiar and the acting is amazing. Also a few bonuses but I won't spoiler them for you. Go see it, you won't be disappointed!!

@niquezvosu I agree. This is for noobs and mobile gamers. So many cliches.
Nice clean and simple rescue mission. I bet Jackson's still alive struggling for his life somewhere.
loading replies
@typongtv They already dusted his fingerprints and checked for DNA, that's how they get his killer, which means, they have his body. And also, captain/sarge said he saw his body in a cold table or something.
And I'm still bored AF. I'm in till the end though, but still I wouldn't recommend it.
loading replies
@nescobar-a-lop-lop Same, dude. Same. I just enjoy Luke Evans... the view... Melissa McCarthy... But I gave up the plot a long time ago.
Maybe I'm alone with the sentiment but is anyone finding the pull away from the team and football a little jarring? What made Season 1 so good was the humourous situations around the team and the game of football that allowed these relationships to shine and grow. Now we just have a comedy drama about people who happen to play for/work for a football team. I can't say I'm not enjoying it, the jokes are still very witty and the breath scene was incredible, I just feel a lot of the focus has left and the story is struggling to get a foothold and build momentum. Hope we get back to AFC Richmond, the grounds and the games going into the second half of the season.

@xiofire I for one, prefer it. But I think they'll continue on that line, maybe it was a covid thing, not putting everyone together, social distancing and such...
I didn't expect Allie to make too much sense, but saying someone is homeless because they stopped consuming is just plain stupid.
Spending less money doesn't make you end up on the street - spending too much does. The weird thing is, that he could have blamed consumerism that way and it would have made sense - instead he makes this fundamentally stupid statement (in the middle of running away from the police...)
This kind of bullshit would be ok if the character was an idiot in some way, but he is supposed to be a genius...
loading replies
@player8472 I think he meant that society doesn't want to invest money of "fixing" homelessness because they won't stand to gain from it. He never says that people GOT to be homeless BECAUSE they stopped consuming.

my verdict on this is that it would've been much better as a narrative-driven video game. not a tv miniseries, not a franchise, just a well rounded video game with a decent story and fun game mechanics.
don't expect anything mind blowing and you'll enjoy this. it's a generic sci fi movie and there's not nearly enough of dylan o brien's cute face to level it up from there. some dialogue is silly, the cgi varies from excellent to passable (i wonder how sick of rendering breaking glass these vfx artists are) and there's a lot of weird plot holes and nonsensical physics going on that never get explained. if it's setting up for a sequel, okay i guess.
i think this is worth a watch for some of the cast members. jason mantzoukas mostly, i mean. mark wahlberg is so wooden in sci fi, he must just not act as well when there's a lot of cgi and he has to interact with green screens and props instead of reality? because he's been pretty decent other times. i also just don't like him though.

@birdcages In my comment I wrote I would see it as a 10 episode show. But the narrative-drive video game is an awesome idea!

I'm in the minority who thinks Loki is good only in small doses. But I have to say I liked how introspective he was here. May we see a less obnoxious version of the character?
loading replies
@the_argentinian I agree... I didn't fall in love with this episode. Good thing it's only 6.
Meh. The kid is good, ex-twd is good, pregnant lady kicks ass but Jolie and the rest just... it's worth a watch if you have nothing to do, but it's not an amazing movie.

@jirona Wether we understand or not, Aunt Lydia is kind of a distorted mother figure to the girls. She DOES have their well being in consideration and as a priority. But her principles are messed up.
She welcomes, grooms, feeds and educate them. A bond is formed.
John Wick meets Home Alone. A much needed fun ride after wasted year. An awesome escape from reality. This movie just does what it needs to do, action from start to finish.
Logic? Leave it the door! Because this movie got none.
Complex plot? Go read a book.
Character development? Go watch a play.
Work of art? Go read Shakespeare.
This is A guys guy film. Seriously, after all the woke crap from past couple of years & female this crap and female that nonsense...this is a film that does away with all of that but in way without putting anyone down (male or female) or having some bullshit political message.
If you want a fun evening with a lot of violence, action, cheesy soundtrack, and some good laughable moments or you just want to escape from reality...this is the movie for you.
Go watch it...The most fun you’ll have this year.

@whos_ur_buddha This girl here LOVED it. EVERYONE who enjoys a good action movie should see it.
Meh.
It’s ok.
It’s about a family going through the ups and downs of life.
I thought it would be about them facing discrimination in rural Arkansas. It thankfully avoided that usual trope. Unless I’m missing something.
loading replies
@boolalanga Totally agree. I must have also missed something. Not relatable for me and also very much generic.
Nope. Just nope.
First, too soon. We're still in a middle of a pandemic.
Acting sucks, editing sucks.
As a Stephen King fanatic, this is just offensive. The mini-series with Gary Sinise was awesome, but this is just surfing the pandemic/heard hype.

@sopherian They decided to air it now. Anyway, it does not matter, because it's a poor adaptation with poor acting.

VIP4This movie offers a unique experience. It gives you one of the most genuine and undoctored glimpses into the soulless eyes of corporate Hollywood
There is no love for making movies
There is no love for the source material
The only interest is making something with the specific goal of being a "Blockbuster".
There is nothing to it but the intent of making money. There's legit nothing to this movie.
Every shot you see is made just for cool trailer moments....
The Characters have no life or personality to them, They don't make any emotional connection with the viewer.
The acting........ no
There's no real plot or pacing
The effects can be good at times but its far and few in-between
The fighting and action scenes are rendered useless with the unprecedented amount of jump cuts done in editing....I enjoy movies that might have glaring flaws, or even be considered bad, I'm not a heartless critic... But there are no redeemable qualities about this movie.
You can't even spin it as a "So Bad It's Good" movie, its just that incompetent on every imaginable level.0/10 - Genuinely
