I don´t know what to say...funny but not great.
I had no idea that would be the SERIES finale as I was watching it... I'm mad we won't get to actually see Lavan and Lemon together in a real marriage!!! All this build up to them being together and all we get is a quick pass by wedding... #disppointed
I hate that they canceled this show!! It was one of my fave shows on syfy.
i don't know a thing about baseball, but this show... it's just amazing!!
I watched it randomly on netflix cause I was bored af and
I literally finished all the episodes in one afternoon.
Just superb. Fantastic. Perfect. I can't find the right words.
Everything seems so nonsense, without logic, put there without any reasons, and then. In the end. EVERYTHING, AND WITH EVERYTHING I MEAN E V E R Y T H I N G, even the smallest hole in the wall or the dog on the street has his reason. You have to watch it to understand. Definitely.
And then, the last 5 minutes throws each of your certainties into the toilet.
Can't wait to see next season.
Very upset to hear it's cancelled. The absurdity of it all is actually really refreshing. Hopefully someone is smart enough to pick this one up.
So sad that its been cancelled
Almost glad they cancelled this. While the premise sounded intriguing and fresh to begin with it turned into the same mess as pretty much any CW show these days and that stupid will they/won't they nonsense got on my nerves quickly. Lucy Hale will find something new soon anyway, good luck girl!
A warm hearted look at instability and pressure. I'm three episodes in and it's improving with every minute, adding layers and revealing more heartbreak and kindness in equal measure.
actually season 2 takes of to be quite good, however the twist about bloody face is just to random and doesn't make sense sure unpredictable twists can be fun but there is a fine line between unpredictable and just not making sense this was part of the later.
They should erect a border wall around this show so no one has to ever see it.
I stumbled across this little gem, probably because Netflix has bought the international streaming rights and were promoting it's release (29 June 2018), but I was able to watch the first season as broadcast on UK's Channel 4. What fascinated me was the way the film makers moved between the real and virtual worlds. Both the leads (Tallulah Haddon, Simona Brown) have such striking facial features that even in the live action they seemed to have a flawless animated quality. Dark themes akin to Dark Mirror. Excellent acting. Good writing (although there were some flawed logic jumps in episodes 5 and 6). This is quite an unusual thriller and I was giving each episode solid 7s (good) out of 10. If this series is renewed (no news yet but the finale set us up for another season) I will definite be rewatching it, which bumps up my rating to an 8 (great) for the series so far. (AN ASIDE - Beyond the presence of a reoccurring song in the sound track, I can't quite figure what the title has to do with the story). CAUTION: a fair amount of nudity. [SciFi Mystery/Triller]
The greatest comedy of all time. Nothing comes close!!! Don't mention the war :)
If you had told me three weeks ago that one of the best new shows of the seasons not only stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, but he is one of the best parts of the show I would have had you committed.
Despite its evident flaws, I'll always have a soft spot for The Vampire Diaries: it was the first Tv series I started following, the first I fell in love with which also led to my first binge and of course my initiation to "shipping my OTPs" ... it's a lot to live up to I guess!! So I don't really care about the inconsistencies, the obvious hypocrisy, or how annoying some characters were, taking turns throughout the seasons. That's all true but I decided I want to remember how much I got swept up by the various storylines they told in eight years, how much I cried during emotional episodes ( guys when Liz Forbes died I thought I'd never stop, I can't listen to that song without weeping ), how insanely hot and definitely talented the cast was and how taken I've been from the beginning to the end no matter what ... this show deserves all my praise!!
For as much TV as I watch, this had me laughing out loud consistently. Love it so far, really like the strong asshole personalities. Probably because it hits so close to home with my own personality. More please.
Nicole really annoys me but the concept is fun!
The writers of Mixology set themselves up with a fantastic premise (and a series deadline) from the get-go. One night, one bar, one group of friends, 13 episodes. It almost sounds impossible, doesn't it? Yet Mixology comes out with flying colors and a sting in my heart that makes me want more, much more of this show, despite knowing that there isn't a way in which Mixology could live on, story-wise.
Adorkable Tom, confident Maya, sexy Ron, friendly Cal, Dominic the player, smart Jessica, innocent Liv, cute Kacey, and the brilliant brilliant brilliant (yes, thrice) Bruce, make up this group of friends and strangers. Each episode focuses on one particular relationship, while gravitating around others, setting them up for the next instalment.
Some pairings don't make sense at first, leading you to question the sanity of the two characters involved, but they either dwindle inevitably like you expected them to or move forward in a weird and enchanting way that forces you to reconsider your stance.
Mixology is light and funny, without a single weak link, but with many strong ones that elicit different feelings. You'll root for Tom, fall for Ron, want to slap some sense into Liv, admire Maya, and enjoy every single one of the other characters. You'll enjoy Bruce's comedic relief, his theories, the names he has for every single situation or action.
The show keeps you on your toes, wondering where things will really head, who will end up with whom and how. It's a mating game, but despite the original goal being simple pleasure, Mixology turns out to be more about humanity, friendships, love, and connection. The final resolution is satisfying and true to each character's nature.
If only there was a way to have more, more Mixes and more Ologies!
This show has great animation (especially movement), a brilliant character design, nice opening and ending songs, great character development and an overall gripping story. What more do you need? Haikyuu!! is the best new sports drama in recent years (except Ping Pong).
Am I the only one who thinks comedy/sitcoms were better in general when they didn´t grew on trees?
Up to today "The Nanny" still is one of my all time favs. Although you knew from the start of the show were it would lead, and although they were using about every possible cliché, the characters grew on me and I not only watched for the good comedy it was but to see how the story and the characters evolved.
Today, whenever I happen to find an episode running, and it is still running somewhere, I can´t resist to watch.
oh absolutely.
5/5 a total masterpiece fuck the gossip!
Never into musicals but I am liking this show. It is fun and different and makes me laugh. The singing is entertaining and sounds good. I hope the ratings increase so that they will keep making it. Probably one the few shows I look forward to anymore.
I did not expect it would be so fun, I'll finish in a single day!
Pretty much a perfect miniseries. Intriguing characters and overall story with amazing actors, great cinematography and an absolutely fantastic soundtrack.
After Season 2:
I was really worried that this season might be shit but it actually turned out great. It's IMO as good if not better than S1 (although quite a bit less funnier and even more depressing at times) and it provides a lot happier ending for the characters which is nice. It also deals with the psychological aftermath of S1 really well.
But the best thing in the show still was the soundtrack. It somehow got even better than S1.
Going into this I did not think I would like this at all but I loved it. I think this is my favorite performance from Drew Barrymore yet! Very binge worthy.
