I guess if your into Jr. High humor.
If there was something good or enjoyable about this film I missed it.
The dialogues were so unoriginal! It was like a generic-version of a fantasy tale, they got the bones for it, but could not really flesh it.
Story's weak compared to the previous installments.
Incongruences in the script from beginning to end, action without sense.
Mercifully short, this blunt toothed potboiler adds nothing new to an already diminished series. Should have been laid to rest several entries ago, preferably with a stake to ensure it has no chance of rising again.
I'm fairly disappointed with this. I've been an Underworld fan and I really think it should've ended with Awakening (though that really is not as good as well). Yes, lots of action but the storyline is ?? like whatever was that super fast almost superpower like thing?? And since Rise of the Lycans I've been waiting for Michael's story to continue only to have him dead by Marius?! Hopefully they end it at the next one because no doubt, they can't even hide Kate Beckinsale's age in some scenes.
Is the weakest of all, the plot is taken out of the sleeve, and prepare the way for a part 6
Uninspired, pointless, boring...
I always found the expression "beating a dead horse" difficult to apply to anything.
But this instance of a movie is a great example for that expression.
The franchise died with Awakening, yet another movie "needed" to happen because money and a sixth movie is supposed to happen already as well. Nope, simply bad. It feels like this movie has no story on its own, it's not making a lot of sense.
There's nothing of merit it adds to the Underworld universe and with that it feels just like "more of the same" but sadly without any substance to it. The only thing that I felt this movie is about is action. "Cool", almost non-stop fighting scenes but even that is shallow. Bleh.
Probably only for die-hard Underworld fans.
100% better than the second, whats the 4th one got in store :)
A lot of action combined with a nice story make this sequel a worthy one. Very entertaining!
This was beautiful to look at. But damn near everything was different. Too different. I don’t like what they did to Art3mis. Her personality was so vastly different from the book that if I didn’t know better I’d swear she was a different character.
I’m sure I would’ve loved this movie if I hadn’t read the book. I can say with 100% certainty that I’ll never watch it again.
But man it was beautiful.
Good movie that had the potential to be great if it had followed the book. Instead it took The Hobbit movie route and was more of an "inspired by the book" movie. I thought the challenges in the book were better thought out and had a better ending. And since the main character were aged up a few years, it missed the "high school" start that existed in the book. If the movie existed in a vacuum (not based on a book), it would probably get an 8 from me, but looses some luster compared to the book.
kill me for being forced to watch this movie!
This movie felt like one big monotone conversation, really not worth watching, even just for the sake of it.
Despite the fighting scene being silly, I enjoyed watching it. Probably my favorite moment from all of the movies. But this is still mediocre at best.
way to long for my taste. Hope part 2 make up for it.
Spoiler alert: They spend the entire movie brooding. All of them. Brooding...
If you don't like anything to do with the Twilight franchise, then you're not going to change your opinion by this point.
The acting is weak and forced, the characters have no chemistry and the story line is weak at best. None of the characters are relatable or likeable, the only likeable was Alice and she's more of a comic relief.
Twilight shines brightest once the credits roll.
Soooo booorrrriiinnng. Lost 2 hours of my life...
Mockingjay Part 2's biggest mistake is being completely faithful to the book, considering that it is the worst one of the trilogy. They had the chance to make the story better but chose to stick to what they had. Being the final chapter of the story, it has emotional bits, but miserably (and unfortunately) fails to sell them, rushing the scenes which we were supposed to remember the most. However, its political and action turmoils are its best parts and were beautifully developed. After all, piecing the four movies together, it remains a good story.
What a waste of money. Literally nothing happens in this movie.
So I watched Hunger Games 2 last week and wasn't impressed. I haven't read the books and I can only speak for the movies. The first one was good, and had me looking forward to part 2. But this movie, at 2 hours 26 minutes was looong. And not the good sort of long either. It dragged on, the story building upon and post the events from the last film. It felt anticlimactic. Probably 40 minutes in the film began to show signs of a take-off point for this particular story-arc, but for the remainder of it the movie didn't really -- for me -- take off. There were moments of action and excitement, but it got lost in the attempt to build plot, which also wasn't impressive. 6/10 for the effort. Killed my excitement for the franchise and the next film though.
Good for teenage girls and guys trying to get with teenage girls, impress them, or have something to talk about with them. For anybody else, super meh.
Like a Saturday morning cartoon: unoriginal, entertaining and forgettable.
At World's End sinks the Pirates of The Carribean film series after the first 2 good movies, with a mix of unrealistic dialogues and situations that makes the movie nothing more than a farce devoted only to the fireworks instead of being towards an adequate script. Only Depp's, and few more, interpretations don't allow the standards to go down further.
The more I watched of this whole franchise the less I wanted to continue. I guess it´s just not for me. Not everything can be.
