World Premiere Review: Sam Raimi, you legend. This was one of, if not the most, fun MCU movie yet. It's very Evil Dead inspired visually, particularly the camera work. The character arcs here are fantastic, the action is wonderfully violent (the multiverse gives so much opportunity to kill off characters without impacting the main timeline too much), and the pacing is great, just go see it.
Getting sick of all the toxic so called Star Wars fans. I grew up with the prequels, and I actually really enjoy these series.
First of all, while it isn't nearly as great as She-Ra (obviously) it is still enjoyable. And while I "get" why the fanbois got their panties all in a twist they seriously just need to get over it. This is not a bad show at all.
The art and music is all great. It fits the show well. The character designs are all true to the '80s version, just with an updated style and it looks good. The voice cast is of course amazing with many great stars in it and they mostly do a great job. Unfortunately I feel that casting Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela was a miscast. And only because her voice doesn't seem to match the strongly built character. It just feels off.
The fleshing out of secondary (and tertiary) characters is really nice as they finally gain some depth, even if it is just a little it is still more than we've ever had. I love Roboto, and even Orko got some actual proper dialogue! Backstory even! Orko!
This movie is special to me. There's just something about it, the general feeling/vibe it has. I don't really know, I just really like it.
Billy Porter was the best thing about this movie, cause he was one of the few people who could sing AND act. I hope I won't ever see Camillas "acting" in a movie again.
This has to be the biggest disappointment of the year.
James Wan is the master of Horror and the only one who really know how to direct a horror movie nowadays .Period
I am flying through the season with my niece. Despite missing Lydia Page. The show is still a delight.
Okay!!!!
Well, as a new diy show it’s fine…..
There’s two changes needed if there’s to be more seasons….
1) remove that loud over the top host/team leader, she isn’t needed just let the experts/team host it jointly
2) stop doing the fake dummy runs where they always go wrong, you can see it’s all set up to go wrong.
3) drop the gimmick installs I.E whole kitchen on forklift and window install using a helicopter, they are gimmicks and never get used again.
Then your have a watchable show, that I won’t need to scream at!!!!
It's not bad but feels stale. This heist-style movie has been done so many times before. Thinking about it, just two weeks ago, still on Netflix, with Army of thieves. It's just forgettable.
Also, I'm starting to wonder if, when they sew Ryan Reynolds mouth shut in X-men, if they did not stumble on a very good idea. I just wanted him to finally shut up, the whole movie. I know that Deadpool was popular, but does he have to be the same character in every movie? Was fun for a while, but now it's getting old really quickly.
This movie was absolutely terrible! The only parts worth watching involved Fabulous Godmother. If it wasn't for that, I would have rated this a -10 if I could have.
moral of the story : use different song when singing in the bathroom
what..... a waste .... of my precious time ...
A small preamble - in my opinion "Little Witch Academia" already deserves praise for being an anime deviating from the norm, a piece of art that indicates hope for the revitalization of the whole anime industry. And even more so, if we keep in mind that the original story (short film) was released 2013 as part of the 'Young Animator Training Project's Anime Mirai' project, its second movie was entirely realized due to crowd funding, both attempting to showcase an exceptional, magical fairy tale of a young girl, striving to become a great witch.
