I still really love this film, but the whole Harvey Dent storyline makes absolutely no sense.
Ack. I just... Jimmy what are you doing?
Pointless. And the host's attempts at levity utterly failed.
It's fine. I wasn't sure at first, the opening is a bit "hmmmm" but then the story takes a turn which made that much more interesting. Could have been a LOT better, but then again, it could have been an awful lot worse too.
Wow, how was this ever thought to be okay, with the racism, and the period jokes, and oh yeah the date rape is cool storyline
This is just a wonderful show. Love it
This was not a good film.
Not good at all.
Didn't like this at all. Felt bored through most of it. Nothing scary apart from the odd jump moment. Plot was so predictable and dull.
"I told you not to trust me".
You bastard Littlefinger
Uthred son of Uthred son of Uthred!
So I think the title is a bit misleading, makes you think it'll have more of an unsettling atmosphere.
Also I have an issue with the ending, not that it's bad, but it does perpetuate the stereotype that mental health issues are merely fake excuses that let criminals get away scott free, and even trained experts can be fooled.
Oh Rocky IV, the worst of the Rocky films in some ways. But also the most Rocky in others. Also, the film that is pretty much all montage. I mean, how many montages can one film take? Rocky IV certainly pushes the envelope there.
It is a bad film. I don’t think I could argue otherwise.
But, then again, Rocky. So I gotta love it, at least a little.
So I had no idea this had such a bizarre, but awesome plot
Despite knowing whats going to happen that fight scene is still wonderfully tense.
Really enjoyed this film. Its certainly different from most films, loved the long dialogue heavy scenes and the slow growing atmosphere.
On rewatch I think I feel pretty much the same about this film as I did originally, it isn't going to win many awards but it damn entertaining. With much violence.
Also, I'd like somebody to make a film from the point of view of the picts/celts/germanics/whomevers that the Romans invaded without any rooting for the imperialistic colonial empire.
Kirk really needs to check himself, surely the crew and the ship come before his pride in his own abilities.
This episode annoyed me so much. If you shoot, stab and beat down your hero he does NOT get to stand up and destroy his opponents 2 mins later at least, not unless you are watching a cartoon.
this film didn't know whether it wanted to be a comedy or a horror, and so was neither.
but i didnt hate it, so I guess it wasn't terrible
First rewatch in a long time, and I really don't think it's as good as I remember. Everything is well done, looks and sounds great. But all a bit full of its own importance and men being menly.
De Niro gives a great performance, but Pacino is a tad too GREAT ASS! To work for me
Oh my God this is a terrible terrible excuse for a film.
Okay in a predictable way till the final third and then it descended into the worst film of the year
I mean none of it made any logical sense but I wasn't really expecting any logic, but this was just plain infuriating and awful
First two thirds of this film were fantastic, but let down by the final third unfortunately.
It tries, but never really succeeds. Also the plot with the wife just never made much sense
A great film, no matter how many times I've seen it, still great
I don't know why I bothered as I haven't enjoyed any of the other wickian adventures.
Watching this is just hearbreaking
This is a terrible terrible film. Was it supposed to be funny? Because that's the impression I got from the way it listed the dead. It did not make me laugh, not once.
It was mean spirited, I didn't care about any of the so-called characters, and it was boring. One to miss I think.
okay, so rock salt and rubber bullets explains why Frank is still alive after the last episode, and its all part of Billy's plan, still annoys me as he should be dead a hundred times over
Everything was well done. But the story was just not for me, felt that id already seen the vengeance story in other guises, and would have liked a different take.
But then again it delivers what the trailer promised so I shouldnt complain.
Really enjoyed this one. Great script, and good acting. Kept engaged in the story, though Lockwood playing Freda was particularly good.
