Another hyped social media tv show, really not that good, when the “vips” came in it was a no no for me. That was such bad acting.
But i know all you netflix users have 0 good stuff so every new show is hyped.
Love that we got to see this side of Michael. Now we're know how he got to be the boss.
And here it is: the end of the biggest television show of all time.
Seasons 1-4 are (close to) perfect.
Seasons 5-6 are where some of the cracks start to appear, with some filler episodes that don't build a lot of character. However, they're still great seasons nonetheless.
Seasons 7-8 are good, not great. They have certain pacing (rushed developments, teleportation of characters) and writing issues (plot armour, unsatisfying & unearned conclusions etc.). It is especially the level of production that elevates these seasons above average television.
Am I also unsatisfied with how they handled certain characters at the very end? Absolutely.
Do I think, however, that they mostly stuck the landing? Yes.
S1: 9.5/10; S2: 9/10; S3: 9.5/10; S4: 10/10; S5: 8/10; S6: 8/10; S7: 7/10; S8: 7/10
Overall rating: 8.4/10
Dull. The biggest scare was wondering if Ed would keel over from a heart attack.
The series could end here and it would be a perfect end (but boy do i hope its not) because this season was phenomenal and by far the best one yet.
When Jim died by heart broke but the post credit scene has given me some hope, because there's no way they can take the only real parent she's ever had away right??!
Honestly the kid that plays Will is an excellent actor, both him and Millie are great actors
Dustin you stupid, I know that creature was cute but I wouldn't keep him alive since you knew he's connected to the upside world somehow and now great!!! The Demogorgon is born again F***!!
Side note RIP Dog, it's Dustin's fault
Nancy I doubted you but sh*t!! Planning all this ahead was smart, now she has recordings of them admitting everything and she gonna expose them, lets hope everything goes well
Also El might be a girl named Jane, I'm in episode 4 still not sure but I prefer calling her El
Also that scene of El and Hopper was amazing, I know some people gonna blame Hopper for acting like a d*ck but just know that he cares about her and he's trying to keep her save so I do understand how he acted and to be honest El was Brat, BRAT the word of the day LOL
Great episode but now it seems like everything is going shitstorm so I'm worried about what happens next
Technically marvelous but I felt nothing watching this. No thrills, no suspense, nada.
The combination of Spielberg's direction, Hanks' performance and the Coen Brothers' script makes for an awesome film.
I have to say, I really don't understand why so many people rave about "The Godfather: Part II." I mean, yeah, it has some decent moments here and there, but overall, I found it to be a pretty lackluster film. For one thing, it's just way too long. I mean, come on, who has the patience to sit through three hours of this stuff? And even then, I didn't feel like the story was all that compelling or well-told. To be honest, I found myself checking my watch more than once during the movie, just waiting for it to be over. All in all, I'd give it a generous 6 out of 10 at best. I really don't understand why this movie is so overvalued in the eyes of some.
I had to downgrade the rating form 10 -> 9 all is because of Season 8, this is how you almost ruin the best show in the world...!
Chapeau Breaking bad :)
Absolutely incredible what they were able to deliver from a technical perspective. I just wish it was a little brighter, it was so dark that it was hard to see everything. A ton of great moments.
One of the best episodes of the series. The ending is breathtaking.
Thumbs up if you said "What the fuck..." to your TV before the opening credits.
3 Thoughts After Watching ‘A Clockwork Orange’:
What a journey. I’m not entirely sure what I just watched, or what I think about it. But I’m definitely intrigued by Kubrick’s twisted mind.
I kept waiting for the moment when I realized the reason for the film’s title. It never came.
McDowell kept reminding me of Evan Peters the entire time.
This was one of the GoT episodes where there wasn't any fighting at all, but it was still really awesome.
And especially the last scene when Tyrion goes: "I demand a trial by combat!" Oh man this was amazing.
Watching this episode for the second time, I am struck by Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark)'s performance. Her portrayal of anger, sadness, and desperation all at once is just gut wrenching and remarkable.
In hindsight, the outcome of this episode was both foreshadowed and developed long ago. But that does not diminish the overall impact, if at all, enhances it.
Viserys got what he deserved and that episode was great since the beginning.
Another good episode, I just wish there wasn't as much unescesary sex thrust in. Then we could focus more on the storyline.
Tokyo Ghoul is one hell of a disappointing adaptation and thus fits in perfectly in the season... Who ever did the planning on this failed miserably leaving the anime rather flawed.
Without having read the manga we apparently get like 70+ chapters in just 12 episodes but it isn't just that - the arcs are not in order. As a result the characterizations are suffering and I can't say the story had a good flow. They pretty much picked out the action and went with that. Only in the last episode we got to see some of the inner workings but it's not like that cleared anything up. Just like the manga this week the anime ended on a cliffhanger although that is still better than trying to do an original end. The story seems to have some interesting ideas but with the manga now having no clear outcome either you can't even say "read the manga"...
Production wise the show was alright although suffering from ever present censorship of the gore or even leaving out certain mutilations.
With the uncertain future of TG's story I would not recommend checking it out.
Anti-soviet propaganda and lie.
But visual part is great, very similar to reality, I can confirm that.
Man, really LMAO at B*tchard.
This season is shaping up to be a really fine one.
Man, this show is so on point it's making me angry. Also, that might've been the most horrific sex scene I've ever seen on a TV show lol
WTF did I just watch ?
Really happy to see that Paramount redesigned Sonic after the trailer came out! :hugging:
To be honest, with these actors and these characters, I don't think it would be possible for them to make a film that's worth less than 6/10.
The original is better but I wouldn't class Double Tap as a disappointment. It's a good film in its own right, which is rare for sequels in general. Most importantly, it's damn entertaining. In a way, it's a perfect palate cleanser before Oscar-season hits us in the coming months.
It's a 7, but a damn good 7.
When the movie came out I see why all this hype, the acting is really good, and the photography and dialogue but for me there are better movies than this, good fellas, the Devils advocate, The Shawshank Redemption, The green mile, etc. I watched this movie in 2 parts because I can't stand watch a 3 hour long movie even if it's good.
I was surprised of the 73% rating but then, I voted 8 points. I think it's fair.
The movie is not bad but good, but not particularly great. The opening scene alone would be worth 10 points. It was awesome. Was it done in one shot? Looks like it, at least I want to think that, and it was really good.
One could argue about the plot being too shallow, but then again it's a James Bond movie, so what do you expect? Of course there are some plot holes, but that didn't upset me at all. What upset me was the untimed and forced "fun" moments. The movie had several really intense moments with great shots, camera movements and silence—Oh the silence!—but the they destroyed them with catch phrases and stupid comments. (Referring to "Oh, Shit" on the train and "What do we do now?" right after) There were several more stupid moments and they did not suit the movie. Without them, it would be 10/10!
This movie is sooooo damn bad. I wonder why it got > 60%. Not funny at all.
This is... garbage. Couldn't even finish it.
