Animal meat burger to non-meat eaters!
Those kind of episodes are common but it is irritating. People have ethical choices. They dont use animal products but father of malcolm brings meat as if it is very important.
Without even trying alternative vegan ones!
That is why I give 1 / 10.
Respect!

I thought Aram was the one who has liked her for so long.
It's like they want to have the show be like what comic books use to be. Like they aren't reimaginating the stories to fit some new socio-political agenda.

@cmonster I'm pretty sure they actually fired writers for trying to make it super "woke". I think they wanted to have another show like Smallville, a show focused on actually telling a story rather than a show more focused on pushing a political agenda.
This season has been really, really disappointing. There are many things that I admire about this show, primarily its artistic decisions, from camera work to storytelling and everything in between. This season however, it seems as though someone thought it was best to prioritize looks over substance because obviously, that always ends well.
I understand you want to maintain the show's shroud of mystery and intrigue, but if your audience is struggling to understand what the hell is going on half of the time all the while questions and confusion continue to mount without any answers whatsoever to satisfy them, you're doing something wrong. There is a point, a red line if you will, at which "we smart" tactics become bland laziness and this season has crossed that line many times over.
This is not the American Gods that season one introduced us to, this is nothing more than a half-assed continuation that attempts to do what S1 did just without substance and quality. I hope they get their shit together next season.

I guess one can tell that the show's creator quit this show after the first season (because he did).
totally fake! this is a huge historical lie

@mahyurr It is not a historical lie, because it is not an historical movie. It never pretends depicting the facts, rather the story, idealized and hyperbolized by the storyteller Dilios. It intends to follow the pattern of Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, i.e. the style of the ancient Greek authors. No one believes that Gods came down on earth to fight in the Trojan war, as no one believes Odysseus’ crew has been eaten by Cyclops or sirens, yet people still enjoy ancient Greek literature. That is why “300” is a great movie, capturing this spirit of storytelling with great artistic visuals, exceptional fighting choreography and music.
As a standalone episode, this was decent, but as a season finale however, it left much to be desired; it's funny, the season premiere didn't feel like a premiere and now the season finale didn't feel like a finale...loading replies
@jinzulen "Bruce Wayne" is not the season finale. There are still six episodes remaining in the season.
The trailer massively undersold this show. It's not a crappy rom com. It's a female led story with some great prospects. I'm excited for it to begin.

yeah it's an overall crappy show lol
Cheap acting and cheap effects.
I'll never thought it would be possible but this show is gonna be even worse than before.... awful crap. relents political trends lol yeah that's exactly what we want in a fucking hero show... and of course the sexual agenda.. I'm gonna watch magnum. compared to to this a masterpiece of a remake

VIP8Good world building, I would've preferred it the Pokemons looked more like animals and less like cartoons, but this Roger Rabit approach will do. Also, decent cinematography and score. But, the script’s complete ass (conveniences, unnecessary exposition, uninteresting characters without development, extremely predictable storyline etc.) aside from some of Pikachu’s snarky lines, so you’ll probably get bored at some part.

@catsy Nonsense. This is an example of great creature design. You can argue that the earthquake scene looks off, but overall, this is a CGI standard that should be looked up to.
Also, being diverse doesn’t make a movie better, just like how a lack of it doesn’t make it worse.
I am incredibly grateful to Game of Thrones for this adventure I have found myself sucked into for some years now. I am grateful for all the emotions it brought me since day one, bitter and sweet alike. I am grateful for all the laughs, all the tears, all the jokes and gags, every single bit of it, I really am grateful and appreciative of it all. It's been just... wonderful.
That said, I am feeling robbed and betrayed right about now. This ending is arguably one of the worst series finales in the history of television and trust me I realize how bold of a statement that is. The terrible violations the characters have suffered this season, the lack of proper resolution to many of the plots and narratives developed over seasons worth of buildup, the seeking of shock value at the expense of quality writing... that and much much more solidified this as an absolute disappointment of a finale, as opposed to the marvel wrap it could've given this cultural phenomenon.
This episode does have its positives, as always the score, acting and cinematography are perfectly performed but I just do not think it's nearly enough to compensate for how lackluster the writing has been, as much as I wish they did. Oh well, sad as it may be, I'll just hold on to the good stuff and hope that GRRM's book, once finished, will tackle the ending in a more coherent, more respectful and more meaningful way. It's been real y'all...
P.S: I'll leave this here lest some people jump me again. This comment is a representation of my own personal opinion, I am entitled to one just as all of you are. If you enjoyed this season and felt this finale delivered what you were looking for then more power to you mate, but that doesn't nullify my opinion nor does it make yours any valid. If you want to discuss or challenge my views, I'd be more than happy to engage you on that basis but if all you have to offer are petty remarks then please keep them to yourself.

@seanmsu No offence, but the ending of Lost is arguably the worst ending in tv history. It was horrible. Sure, you can explain it away by saying "zomg all these retarded no-direction random things make more sense now" but the fact is that even the writers have said they were unsure of the direction it was taking and what to do next. The ending itself was a tack-on as an explanation was NEVER intended. And NEVER explaining it, would have been better than the shitshow they came up with.
I haven't seen GoT season 8 yet, but I just had to comment on the Lost thing, It's such a cliche argument. "You can't understand what they were trying to tell you!", sure, they suck a storytelling. It's like saying "You don't like Memento because you just dont understand they beauty of horrible writing". It's a retarded argument. Unless you want to cater to the 1% of fans who actually wants to go full Nerd on these things (sadly I'm one of them), but Lost clearly did not. It was mainstream. As is GoT... Oh wait, A Song of Ice and Fire. Even the name tells you how mainstream this went. :)

@seanmsu "No, you are fundamentally wrong."
You're entitled to believe that but considering a room full of writers who do this sort of thing for a living and D&D themselves seem to agree with me on this, I'm inclined to believe otherwise.
"It is not the writer's job to ensure everyone pays attention to every detail in the story"
Eh? It kind of is their job to ensure that said details are clearly presented to the audience, at least the consequential ones. Failing to do so and instead treating them like easter-eggs that you must secretly inject into the work and have fans hunt for doesn't make you a contemporary genius, it just means you've failed at properly doing your job.
"If you don't want to spend the effort it takes to pay attention, then you don't deserve to understand the story to the same extent as someone who does"
So let me get this straight, anyone who doesn't interpret a work of art the same way that you do is therefore someone who isn't paying attention and thus doesn't deserve to understand and appreciate the story? Narcissist much? Get over yourself, mate.
Interpretations vary greatly from one person to another, each person presents their own perspective on how they viewed said work of art, that's the beauty of it, it means something different depending on who's engaging it.
"Those who do delve deep are rewarded"
Yes, usually by mundane trivia but what do I know, I'm just a peasant who can not observe the layers of complexity that your highness is able to grasp.
"People like you who ask for explicit explanation for everything are actively ruining the art that makes television, and storytelling in general, so fantastic."
Please, spare me the sanctimonious attitude and refer yourself to my comment on interpretations.
Man, every time you respond to one of my comments it's always the same faint sense of anger and narcissism that I (and by extension of the likes, others as well) didn't share your feelings for a particular episode, it's always this high-horse bullshit that you just spewed into that last comment of yours: "I liked it and if you didn't, you clearly don't understand it".
In this reality - shocking as it may come to you - people possess differing opinions and takes on things, you don't have to accept those opinions but you've no right to belittle someone in some attempt to sell yourself as intellectually superior for seeing things only your excellency can apparently perceive.
I am incredibly grateful to Game of Thrones for this adventure I have found myself sucked into for some years now. @seanmsu It's funny how everyone who recycles this comment about the ending of Lost seems to fail to understand a very simple premise of writing. The same premise that had D&D re-do the pilot for Game of Thrones after initially sharing it with a room full of HBO writers and it's that if your audience fails to understand what it is that you're trying to relay, you've simply done a bad job, especially if it's as clear as you imply it to be.
Many audience members don't want to sit down and go full nerd trying to analyze the writers' creative decisions, which is why it falls on the latter to simplify the content for the former, you can of course call anyone who doesn't share your views a mindless twit who couldn't understand what the show was trying to do but the matter of fact is that it's the show's responsibility to make the audience understand and if it fails to do that then it's no fault of the audience, it's that simple.
And sadly this great tv show has come to an end

Why did you rate the episode without seeing it?
What in the actual f*ck.
I'm a reasonable man, I realize I've been crapping on D&D even more than usual this season but I really do have to give them props for doing exactly what they set out to do. They hoped to subvert our expectations and they did just wonderfully in that regards.
We expected all of that buildup over the years to actually amount to something that at the very least passes for a presentable series finale but instead, we got an incoherent, steaming pile of shit. Expectations subverted!
We expected all of that character development to actually result in a beautiful pay-off that respects the journey of self-discovery each and every one of our beloved characters went through to get to where they are now but instead, we got a painful, disrespectful cycle of character regression. Expectations subverted!
We expected the final season of this show to keep us at the edge of our seats with thrilling writing that didn't subvert our expectations for the sake of subverting our expectations via low-quality shock value-seeking writing, but to introduce plot twists that make sense within the overall narrative of the story but instead, we got CW-level predictable, cringe material. Expectations subverted!
I get it. I really do. GRRM let them down by not getting the books ready in time and so they had to improvise away from his influence, but this? This? For a long while, Game of Thrones lived up to the slogan of its parent network, it wasn't just TV, it was something different, something unique and now to have to see it come to this... it's nothing short of disappointing.
On the bright side though, at least this episode didn't suck completely. The acting, score and cinematography were all on point, so I guess it's nice that I didn't walk out of it having appreciated absolutely nothing about it.
So why do I even bother anymore? I honestly could not tell you, though it's probably a mixture of masochism and a faint sliver of hope that they won't flush our collective investment into this series down the drain by the end of it, just one more episode dammit.

"Maybe you should watch the series again ?"
I don't see how that would help given that my opinion of this radical change in her character is based off of my take on the character development she was exposed to all of those seasons.
So as to end this pointless cycle of repetition where someone just disagrees without providing any arguments to counter mine with, allow me to yet again state that you're entitled to your own opinion and take on this issue, just as I am entitled to mine.
The fact you disagree with mine does not render it null or make yours any valid, nor do condescending requests to re-watch the series satisfy that expectation.

"Just because a show doesn't go in the direction you wanted doesn't mean it's wrong or bad."
I never said that was the case. Game of Thrones is a TV show, its entertainment value is completely subjective to the viewer. Many have enjoyed this season and good on them, they're free to develop their own opinions on how it was handled, just as I'm free to express disappointment over how - in my opinion - it's crashing and burning.
"Daenerys always had a bit of crazy in her. It should not have been that shocking for her to burn down the city to provoke fear."
I don't think anyone was shocked that Dany went the "mad queen" way, it was foreshadowed for quite a bit and seeing it finally unfold on screen doesn't make it any more surprising.
What's got me disappointed though was the writers' complete disregard for her character development, seeing as quite a bit of said development was built around her being better than her father and brother. Dany was always mad for the throne, but this is extreme even for her, in my opinion, the writers didn't do her character justice.
Man, what a poor episode, lackluster after lackluster. If this is the culmination of the time and interest myself and others have invested into Game of Thrones all of these years, then it is truly unfortunate and disappointing if not almost bordering on an insult.
Such a shame that this will be the legacy of a series that once took the world by storm with its brilliant storytelling and exhilarating plot twists, hardly recognizable anymore when it parades around in a pathetic shell of its former self.
I can't say I'm excited nor even interested in the remaining episodes, at least not when this season has taught me time and again to lower my expectations as much as possible, but I hope they will at least respect what this series once was and offer a conclusion worthy of its story. sigh
