This sucked. The rest of the season better be better.... I love Ncuti. And have been super excited even after the dismal Ruby Road troll thing. But this was both disgusting and too childish. Maybe Disney involvement is ruining the messaging that Whovians are accustomed to. This came off as made for children rather than the fan base. I hope it gets better.
I really wish this movie was UNWRITTEN.
The setup is perfect: a lonely female scientist who has had questionable luck in the dating world is asked to try out a humanoid for three weeks. That humanoid is supposedly made just for her, although the film never really gets into what the means (the few times it is addressed the woman seemed surprised that an aspect of the bot was specific to her preference).
I think this movie is a fine entry into the "what is a relationship" genre. While my favorite movie in this area will always be Her I think this movie isn't too far behind. The struggle to show the areas where the humanoid filled and did not fill holes in the woman's life was extremely interesting. I think where they ultimately left the movie was perfect.

Americans saying that "original" was better than this one. Little do they know that "Alive" wasn't the first film about this accident. Actually, a mexican movie released in 1976 was the first one ever made and it wasn't bad at all.
Yes, this version is slow paced and with less action than previous movies, specially the american one, but technically and emotionally is way above the first two movies. J. A. Bayona goes deeper in the emotional part of each character, this time, using the real names of the survivors, besides, it was filmed in part in the same spot where the accident took place. Hey, we even have cameos of some of the survivors.
Sorry, but people saying this "remake" is bad, is just lazy people that don't like to read subtitles. This movie will be nominated for an Oscar, I can tell you that.
I did not expect to like this one as much as I did! While I would say that the bucket for vampire movies is getting too crowded, I will certainly not fault an entertaining one for this!
The characters are rather quirky and it's shot mockumentary style (like The Office) which might be off-putting for some but you have at least give them credit for going through a variety of jokes here! Oh, and let's not forget Stu! Everyone loves Stu!
i think of it like this: if youre going to eat a sandwich, you would just enjoy it more if you knew no one had fucked it.
Taika Waititi is a GOD among peasants- everything he touches is my favourite and OFMD is a masterpiece of humour (I mean- those who get it/get it), but also has so much depth about race/power structures/ queerness.
I need more shows about queer elders in my life. This slaps -1000/10 - where is my season 2?
a pirate gay show was everything I didn't know I needed to feel good
This is a pirate rom-com between Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby) and Blackbeard (Taika Waititi) and it is so absolutely delightful. It takes a few episodes for the pair to come together, but once they do, the show is dynamite. And I am 100% serious when I call it a romance. Thank you David Jenkins and co for one of my new favorite shows!
Such a lovely show. Perfectly balances humour and sad themes. All the characters have unique and interesting personalities and it's fascinating to watch the development of Stede & Ed's relationship on screen. Really hope there'll be more of this show, it's my new fave.
A decent crime story with a detective thread that keeps secrets to itself until the very end.
I've never been more heartbroken over a character's death like Eddie's last words were the saddest and proudest words he's ever said and yeah i sat there screaming crying sobbing throwing up
EDDIE MUNSON PLAYING MASTER OF PUPPETS IN THE UPSIDE DOWN WAS LEGENDARY!
"Chrissy, this is for you."
Quite good idea but awful execution.
well there goes my favorite lesbian badass goddammit this show wont let me REST
"My first kill!"
Oh God, I never realized it's really Eren's first titan kill :'D
Another prime example of how a cleverly edited trailer with a big name attached can mislead you.
Probably the longest 104 minutes of my life.
I'm sorry: WHAAAAT? This was awful. Not that Supernatural ever was very coherent but this was a rushed, sloppy and frankly a very anticlimatic conclusion to their ordeal... they even had to pull a "and-here-is-how-we-dun-it" to "explain" this mess.
Sam & Dean can apparently take a massive beating from fists powered by such godly energy that when absorbed is enough to transfer the powers over to Jack (who needs build up when you can just give him more OP powers...). Most "powerlevels" were also disregarded for this like Chuck's omniscience and featuring Amara, Death/Lucifer etc.. . And no time for Cas? I know there is another one coming but this had a freaking montage at the end...
Y'know, I was kind of generally annoyed at this episode for existing, but then the dog jumped onto Dean's bed, and I couldn't help but smile.
What.
The.
FUCK.
What the actual f*ck?!
Throughout this episode, I started off mad, then I was disappointed, then I didn't have the energy to be anything, and now I'm mad again. I couldn't even feel anything but annoyed at Dean's death because it was so unnecessary, and we didn't even SEE what killed him, and it was just an obvious way for the writers to force an emotional reaction from the viewers. Why the hell did they think we wanted to tune in for an extra week just to watch our characters die?
Y'know, if they had bothered to ask Jack to bring back Eileen and the other hunters, maybe Sam wouldn't be so alone.
So... Wait, what? Cas is around? And he never stopped by or...? WTF?
I'm just. I don't even know what to say about this. I... This was not a good final season, and this finale episode was just made to tug at the audience's emotions and nothing more. Sam got kind of a happy ending, though he clearly suffered over the loss of his brother and EVERYONE else he'd ever known. We didn't even get a cameo of Jack or Cas. It makes no sense why the other hunters weren't brought back. I don't know, maybe Chuck had returned them to a world that didn't exist anymore, so it wasn't possible to bring them back? I'm just...deeply disappointed but not even as much as I should be because Supernatural has been declining in quality for years. With each passing episode of this season, it became clearer and clearer that the ending wouldn't be well-paced and well-written like we deserved. It's not the worst season of this show or even the second or third worst. But it is one of the worst final seasons I've seen of a show that has lasted so long. Really, they should have just dropped the idea of Chuck as the big bad this season and just made this a collection of monster-of-the-weeks with a familiar face starring in each episode, building up to a final farewell to the Winchester brothers who happily and without regret sacrifice themselves for the greater good. And then Jack and Cas visit them in heaven, and maybe Jack (and perhaps Cas) continues hunting with the possibility of teaching the next generation of hunters. Or they rebuild heaven, creating more angels who will encourage free will and peace.
I'm honestly not even sad Supernatural is over. With writing like we've had for the past few seasons, it was only a matter of time. I just think we deserved better than what we got. The characters deserved better than what they got. I give this episode a 4/10 because the emotional ploys didn't work on me, leaving me bored and annoyed at this episode that served as a poor finale (I'm especially bitter that last episode gave us a rushed conclusion to the biggest plot of the entire show, but we got a full episode of two guys dying this episode). The season overall, I give a 5/10. Maybe a 6 if I'm feeling generous, but right now, I'm not...

One of the worst finales to a series. All character arcs, build ups and growth abandoned so the brothers can regress to their season 1 self. Sam never mentions Eileen and Dean never talks about the circumstances of Cas's death. Other characters? Who are they? Only Sam and Dean make up this show. Family DOES end in blood.
Piss off. This was not the ending the series or the characters deserved after everything.
Cas: * having a full breakdown while confessing his feelings *
Dean: :eye::lips::eye:
I’m sad but also my heart is full of rainbows
A cliche romcom ,but i still enjoyed it..
bitches out there having their clown ass queerbaited for 10 years, really gonna accept destiel becoming canon with that 40 secs confession and use that as source of serotonin huh
it's me, i'm bitched
I think it's enjoyable and fun to watch if you don't overanalyze it. Predictable ending, but overall it's funny. I bet there will be people who will be offended by the seemingly forced perspective to have a baby because there are people who won't want one. What's mind boggling for me is, the milk! It's the freakin fountain of youth! And not one person even thought of monetizing that shit. haha!
gosh, i love frederick chilton with all of my heart. #mybabyboy
Did she just kiss him ? Really ?
Oh wait, not finished here. I'm writing this as its ongoing. SHE SLEPT WITH HIM.
