OMG, I'm back in the game after a month, and a Thai BL series' first episode's first minute just threw shade at the BL scripts that contain sexual harassment and pass it on as romantic gestures??? HELL YES!! :muscle::heart_eyes:

I really hope that 'Bad Engineer' (the title of Gene's first BL) is also a shade thrown at all the cliché Thai BLs where the protagonists are studying as engineers :joy:

So I have a question for my fellow BL lovers. I've been googling Kaownah and Turbo because I didn't know who they were when those interviewers and fans spotted them. I thought it was a crossover of some kind when a couple of an existing BL series pops up in a new show as guest stars. But I couldn't find any existing shows where they were together. Like I saw that they're here as guests and on Oxygen as guests (I still remember that, lol), but not as characters, they are called by their real name. But even after looking them up, I couldn't find any source of their "origins", like did they get famous for being together on IG/Twitter or somewhere? They've been cast on a show together, but that will come out in the future, so how are they this well-known already?

I wonder why they brought up that casting an IRL gay person may cause problems. (Was it because of the drama between Mew and Art? :thinking:) I mean, sure, there's always a chance that a gay guy will fall in love with their also guy co-actor... but it's basically the same risk as in hetero series with a female and a male lead, so... :person_shrugging:

Eh, really disliking the moving-in part, I hate that in any kind of story. If there's actually a legit reason why it would make sense, then I'm okay with it, but 99% of these kinda plots couldn't be applied to real life because let's face it - no one wants to move in with a basically random stranger (unless it's only about sharing the costs, but that would be a whole another story).

It's pretty weird that compared to how sh*tless scared/confused every party was at the big reveal (Pran, Pat, both their friend groups and the other like 15 people casually witnessing the scene), now every friend of Pat is okay with their relationship, no questions asked, and even Pran and Pat are immediately comfortable with being seen together now that the cat's out of the bag. And no, I don't mean that they should treat this as a big deal, it's just a really illogical storyline that they were hiding even their cat-and-mouse friendship from all of their friends and the university, yet now that everyone knows they're boyfriends, they don't seem to care about the "consequences" at all.

Pran's friends only accepting his relationship with Pan after the rugby win (where Pran didn't take part in) is... certainly an interesting plot choice.

That "gun" was literally pointing down. Like not even feet-down but actually away from both of them, on the ground. So how tf should we believe that Pat's abdomen got shot from that angle? I mean, apart from believing that a scenario like that would even exist in real life... a Thai uni guy carrying a gun with him and waving it around to intimidate some rugby guys who he lost a match to... :person_facepalming:

Ugh, these lame cliché plot "twists" are making the show a lot less enjoyable. Just once give us a Thai BL series which doesn't have any of the cliché plot twists...

Ookayy... So Sarawat stepped down from getting Tine to the hospital himself - good. But it didn't even cross his mind to ask Mil about which hospital is he taking Tine? Like a normal person?
And Tine... I understand that he's hurt, jealous or whatever - I would be too -, but not even giving Wat a chance to explain himself? Wat wasn't kissing Pam or anything, Tine literally only saw Pam hugging Wat (which wasn't mutual, either). Other than that, there's nothing. If Tine would've caught Wat cheating (even just saying something romantic to Pam), I would 100% understand him not wanting to hear about Wat again. But this wasn't the case. And I'm not only saying that because I know the cliché drama-at-the-last-episode part's cliché endgame. Wat has literally not been seen cheating on screen. Ever.

Sooo Tine is super mad at, disappointed by and hurt by Wat, but he sat down with Pam (somehow still believing that Wat loves her)? Excuse me, wtf?

Alright, I think when Wat was writing that song, he wasn't in bad terms with Tine, so why say that in the audio recording? And second... why even include that in the file when you can just say that to her in person? So that everytime she listens to it, she'll be reminded that Wat doesn't love her but loves Tine? Lol.

Ugh... Mil and Wat's brother's relationship is just so wrong. Like the latter literally accepted that Mil only chose him because Tine wasn't available? Dude...

So... no kiss whatsoever? Bruh...

I may not be an expert, but when one of my strings snapped a day before a competition, we only changed that string, not all of them. Why would you change all of them if they're in good condition? Especially right before a concert, you have to tune all of them literally every minute to sound good after you put them on. Why not just struggle with one string's constant tuning instead of all 6's? :person_facepalming: (And, as I thought, his strings were perfectly in tune through all that song. That's not how it works if you changed them just minutes before.)

But moving on... Omg, that song, Mafuyu's voice, the animation... so awesome! It was a really fragile moment when Mafuyu walked to Ue after the song and they went off-stage without a word. So pure. And finally a kiss! And Mafuyu admitted to himself (or Yuki) that he found a new love in Ue! Adorable.

Yuki's voice is really nice! It's a shame that this voice actor's character is dead...
Mafuyu thought some deep things regarding that date. No matter how much you enjoyed some moments in your life, you're gonna forget more and more details of it as time passes.

"I understand that I hurt you." - Sooo... still no apology? And Eric wants this guy more than Rahim? Ughhh... Don't want to be a d*ck, but I really hope that Eric will experience Adam not being able to catch him. The only moment I almost teared up was when I saw Rahim crying. I really like his character, it's a shame that Eric just had to choose Adam anyway. I mean, of course, feelings should come first (most of the time) if you choose a partner, but I just don't get how can he fall for and choose his dumb ex-bully over a sweet, honest and smart guy. This plotline was a huge disappointment.

Viv and Jackson, on the other hand, were adorable! They were so cute hugging and holding hands while walking! Even if just as friends (for now, hihi).

Oh, how much I knew that Isaac would delete Otis' voice message... I get that he wants Maeve for himself, but using dirty tricks to achieve that because he knows he'll lose the fair way... Back to 100% Team Otis.

I didn't really like Erin from the start, it was pretty obvious that she was gonna start using again, especially when she was caught in her lie about her being fired. I really pitied Maeve for having to deal with a "mother" like this - after being neglected and abandoned by her in her childhood, she comes back, makes Maeve believe that she's changed, then ruins her life again by starting the vicious cycle from the beginning. And she dares to say she'll never forgive her own child for reporting her for the sake of saving Elsie from what her other children had gone through. (Oof, this sounded a lot less difficult of a sentence in my head. xD)
Anyway, Maeve is a wonderful and brave human being. I just hope she won't date Isaac for too long in the next season before getting to know the truth about Otis' feelings (because I guess this will happen, too, if they went cliché with the "bad guy" topic regarding Eric).

That coconut-smelling action was... pretty disturbing, ngl. Like watching a serial killer's or stalker's perversion.
On the other hand, Bass and Oh's interactions are so cute. :heart_eyes: Now I really-really wish they'd end up together instead of Oh and Teh. Teh is controlling, not at all empathetic, he just wants to compete and be better than others. I bet that there will be a part in the series where he thinks of Bass as a rival just because Oh want to spend more time with him.

So Teh really doesn't see what both Tarn and Oh see? That he wakes up at 4AM for Oh, but not for Tarn? That he hates even the smell of coconuts, but one long sniff into Oh's hair which smells like coconut, and now he ate it and bathed with coconut-scented shower gel? That he sent Oh a "tell me when you're get home" message too? (Though this last one doesn't mean much, we say/message this to each other with my friend too, haha.)

That weird piano piece definitely suited how out of control Teh must've felt, lol. He literally stayed behind pondering why didn't Oh pick him as a roommate? A possessive guy instead of a sweet and caring boy? Hmmm... :thinking: (I know Oh only wanted to make Teh jealous, but still.) I can't say this enough: I really hope Oh will end up with Bass.

I'LL THROW CHAIRS. Oh actually made my precious Bass sad! :sob: I know the struggles of not being too assertive, that's why I can't believe Oh actually said "I'll invite Mod and the others too. The more, the merrier." when HIS LITERAL CRUSH ASKED HIM OUT. Well, I guess Bass isn't his crush anymore...

Okay, ngl, that beach scene was pretty good, so I got swayed... And since apparently Oh now doesn't feel anything towards Bass... But poor Bass... :sob:
Aaaaaand back to creepiness with that paper-smelling...

So uhm... After all this sexual tension in the episode's second half, you're not gonna give us anything? Like damn, Teh's actor leveled up quite a bit with these steamy interactions! (I'm still kinda OhBass, but I think I have to let that outcome go... :joy:)

Not to downgrade Pharm's... feelings(?), but why was he so against Dean starting kissing and touching him (both in a "non-animal" way)? Like they kissed many times before, they held hands, they hugged, they slept together in a bed, so why get mad at Dean for trying to take a bigger step? (Again, it's totally Pharm's right to say no, I just don't understand it since Dean wasn't really violent or anything.)
[Oh, I just read that apparently in the novel it's actually explained that sometimes Korn takes over Dean, and somehow Pharm can recognize these moments, these "traits" as Korn's, that's why he pushed "Dean" (Korn) away. It actually makes a lot more sense like this. I'm sad that the series doesn't explain this at all.]
That part with the grandma clarifies this a little bit, but I'm still not sure if it's just Dean communicating Korn's thoughts or it's actually Korn talking (in the series, because now I know that it's Korn taking over sometimes in the novel, but idk about here).

Umm... Can someone tell me when did Win and Team get this close? Last I checked Win went bold with an obvious flirting, but that was it. And now Team just casually goes to sleep at Win's... at 1 AM. And apparently it's not the first time Team couldn't sleep. Ookaay...
Not that I'm against them, but see, this episode is full of rookie mistakes. Most of the people who watch these BLs don't read the novels they're based on. And instead of making either a remake of the novel or basing the series totally on it, Thais kinda mix these together and leave lots of parts out - making some scenes in the series random or too fast-paced. Thais reeeally need to work on this because the lack of logic in a relationship's development can ruin a story as much as the lack of good actors. :person_shrugging:

Thoughts while watching the movie:
- (Didn't take a look at the actors beforehand) First visible moment of the movie: "KANG HA-NEUL!" Omg, I love this actor so much.
- I almost never even flinch at jumpscares, only really rarely (thanks to Pewdiepie for making me almost immune xD), but that woman got me at the kinda beginning.
- Okay, this hyung either has a multiple personality disorder or he's living a double life, OR perhaps it really is all in dearest Kang Ha-neul's (Jin-seok's) head. That jumpscare woman definitely is, but idk about the hyung. Not wearing/needing his glasses, the limp disappearing, smoking, swearing...
- Either I didn't pay close attention (though I rewinded that part) or the hyung listed the taxi too at their fight even though Jin-seok didn't mention that to him. Hmm... [HA, I KNEW IT!]
- Okay, well, something is still wrong with Jin-seok too because he keeps seeing these weird dreams and hearing noises from that locked room. And I don't think that these have to do anything with Yu-seok (or "Yu-seok"), only if it's his torture room or something. :'D
- Ooooh, mom is in it too! Or, again, it's all in Jin-seok's head.
- Lol, "Mr. Park"? "Mr. Choi"? Are they doing some sick experiment on Jin-seok? Come to think of it, that mover guy even asked Jin-seok if Yu-seok is really his brother (Jin-seok laughing it off with an "I know we don't look alike" comment). HMM... At this point I'm not even sure if the medicine they give Jin-seok is really an anti-anxiety medicine. [Hehe, call me detective. xD] He first followed his hyung when he forgot to take it, so... :thinking:
- I love that last time when Jin-seok stepped out after 12:30 AM, there were quite a few people, but when it's a chase where he would be in need of someone outsider, there's literally no one on the streets. :'D
- OH, SNAP. So I still bet either on the sick experiment or the brainf*ck. His "family" propped the house full of older stuff, they used flip phones, he even had a Discman... but how could he not notice all the modern sh*t when he stepped outside? Only when he went in the police station? And he never looked in a mirror before to not notice his age? Eh, maybe it is his mind playing games with him, not actual people.
- Wow. The plot is becoming too wow.
- Uhm... yeah. No wonder why did he erase that period from his memories.
- I don't get why did Jin-seok lie and protect that scum doctor, but I'm glad that the hyung (well, now dongsaeng, I guess) didn't believe it.

Sooo... I came to watch a thriller and be spooked, but that only worked for about 1 hour of the movie, the other (almost) half just made me sad. The ending was disappointing for me; I was hoping for something more of an experiment or hallucinations (like I tried to guess above), but at least it answered the first half of the movie.
So let's see what we got instead. A car accident, a broke and desperate survivor, a likewise broke and desperate father, an unfortunate accident, an unfortunate following semi-accident, a quarrel leading to a fatal accident... then, 20 years later, a sick interrogation method, and finally a double suicide.

And all I wanted was some spooks.

I came with high expectations since it's a well-known horror, but these almost 40 years didn't do any good to it, it seems.

The actings were terrible, I swear the little boy did the best of 'em all. Jack was overdoing it by a mile (even when he was still sane), and Shelley (Wendy) was like as if she read the lines from a screen. Scatman (Mr. Hallorann) did kinda good.

At first the pace was nicely slow, then it became boring, then it straight-up started randomly jumping around. The twins only appeared to Danny twice, the (seemingly) chemical-burned woman once, the bloodwave from the elevator was wtf, not even mentioning why did Jack call himself Johnny in the (probably) most iconic scene.
It mainly felt like a game of how-many-horror-elements-can-we-force-into-one-story. And I don't know if it's King's fault (him being the original author) or the movie was this poorly done regarding its logic. There were so many storylines introduced, yet almost all of them were just forgotten by the next scene. Why did Danny have that power? What exactly was that power? Why did the isolation have an effect on Jack but not on Wendy or Danny? (Well, Wendy did have a hallucination after Jack tried to chop her down, but then...) Why tf did Wendy hallucinate about a furry giving (and please, tell me I'm mistaken) a BJ to a man? And who choked Danny? Why did they hurt him?
These are just some of the questions left unanswered. Well, in fact, after watching the movie, I think I have more questions than answers. But at least I laughed a lot instead of being scared, and humanity gained some memes out of this movie.

So I'mma just slowly walk away and pretend I didn't see all the comments stating the total opposite of my opinion.

I have a few questions (as usual):
- Why did the show appear again in TV after both Mike and Eddie were stuck in that other world (Candle Cove)?
- Why was Eddie a tooth monster? If I remember correctly, Gene "only" broke his finger, so he could've been a bone monster or something, but there wasn't anything related to teeth in their childhood fights.
- Why could only children "find" Candle Cove on TV (or more accurately: why did it appear only to them)? And what was that in the show that made children attack people, kill them and obey to Eddie? There weren't any hidden messages, orders for assault or anything like that in the episode snippets we've been shown...
- Why did the children listen to Mrs. Booth? Just because he sacrificed his son to Eddie?
- If Eddie was the real creator of Candle Cove, how did he make the show? How did he broadcast that on a secret channel, only to children to be seen?
- What kind of powers did Eddie have to have been able to stop Mrs. Booth's seizures?

I know it's fiction, sci-fi, but I think they could easily have answered all of these plot holes. Not with down-to-earth things, but I'm sure they could've think of something if they just took more time to build a better plot.

Random thoughts while watching the movie:
- That teacher didn't see at all that everyone was staring at Lynn's hand (or at least at her direction) who was sitting in the first row? Not even when only like 15 kids were left there writing the test? Lol.
- I get that they were mad at Bank who crashed their car's mirror (accidentally, I believe), but isn't beating up and throwing a teenager to a dump a bit... I dunno, exaggerated? [Lol, I wasn't suspecting foul play without a reason.]
- That barcode part is genius, but I don't really get how they want to realize that plan. It's not like they have the time or equipment to create pencils with the answers while they're taking the test. [Ah, okay, nevermind.]
- Bank's rage scene when he found out that Pat sent those jerks to beat him up was 12/10.
- That phone-in-the-tank-of-the-toilet plan could go wrong in so many ways. Like what if you can't take off the lid in the toilets of Sydney (or in that particular building)? Or what if someone uses that exact toilet you chose to hide the phone in in the break? All that planning can be ruined in a split second. [I really should be a fortune-teller...]
- Standing up right after the teachers says the word "break" is a liittle not so subtle.
- Wooah, that effect when Lynn slided across the exam room to the piano!
- Okay, now, I'm 103% sure that Lynn choking on her pencil was noticeable for... basically everyone in that quiet and still room. Yet somehow everyone acted so surprised to see her vomiting.
- Why are they chasing Lynn? Because she just left after throwing up? I don't think they have evidence on her since she hid the phone. And chasing her all the way down the streets and the metro station...

I was stunned by the acting. Good Thai actors are so hard to find, especially young ones, so I was really glad about the cast.
The planning of cheating on the high school tests and on the STIC one was mind-blowing. So creative methods!
I was a little meh about Bank turning into a mad businessman at the end - that's absoluety not his character (he almost threw up from actual anxiety or panic in the toilet!). It would've been somewhat believeable if they hadn't have gotten caught in Sydney - giving him adrenaline, money, good scores and all that jazz, but this way... I don't know. Though I guess that had to be done in order for Lynn to have her happy(ish) ending.
I would've watched this movie for a bit longer, just to know where the 4 main characters end up. Or to learn what kind if punishment did Lynn face at the end. I feel like this ending was left too open for the viewers.

Overall, I really enjoyed this movie. At first it seemed way too long, but now I understand why. The plot had its small holes (like every other one), but I would recommend it for anyone.

Simi, once again, proves how childish he is, immediately calling Kori out (of course, when he's not in earshot) for not being able to carry 60kg... Like... huh? Yes, they fucked you over, but you're trying to make it seem like it was only because you're a strong participant of this game. You're strong, sure, but the main reason was exactly this kinda mentality and personality that made you a target. :joy:
Also tells a lot about his personality that he screamed "BASTARDS!!" when he won instead of being happy for his own achievement.

I'm really sad to see Anett go, I'm also kinda sad that Jani won't be in the competition anymore, but it is what it is. Anett can support her boys from afar (and at the ultimate voting at the end), and I'm still proud of her cuz she was the only one who was there fitness-wise and personality-wise. She's a pure soul, a kind, fair, honest and smart girl. I'm glad that she was cast this season with all the two-faced, egotistic, toxic and/or weak people. :pray:

Iiii don't know how to feel about Zera's quitting. I get her feelings, but couldn't she just given up during the game? Like not performing well, then letting the team vote her out? I mean, sure, that's a lot of extra attacks on her, maybe that's why... But I wonder if the game really is that scripted that they put Zera in that team on purpose (I mean, of course, there wasn't even a pull-names-out-of-a-box kinda thing, just Joe said the names by himself) just to make her reach her breaking point. In the opposite team from Viki and Kori, and teamed up with all the people that she dislikes.
In any case, I have some VIP info (and, well, most people already saw these next few episodes on TV :joy:), so I think I'll be happy about the results. :slight_smile:

Ahahhaa, Zsombi accidentally dropping a bombshell on Kori was AMAZING! :joy: I hope that will help hinder Kori's trust in Jani (and Vivi) and could get him (Jani) voted out instead of Anett. :fingers_crossed:
I also just love Kori in general, he really surprised me by helping Zsombor to climb up in the previous episode's challenge - even though it was a solo game, as we know -, he seemed to hang out with Anett, chilling instead of dancing when the tribe had that feast, and now he's gone to do some chore with Zsombi. Kori really does seem to hang out with some of the ex-Buhawi members because he genuinely likes them (unlike Simi - he may like them too, absolutely, but I think he was a lot more in it for a tactic). And now that I think about it, Kori does seem to have a lot in common with Anett and Zsombi in terms of personality: they're all kinda reserved observers, kind people, avoiding conflicts, only rarely even raising their voice... I dig these hang-outs of them! :blush:

I love how the youngsters all said "no" when Vivi asked them if they were gonna vote on her, but all tried to avoid the topic and give vague answers when she asked if they will vote Jani out. :joy: They didn't dare to lie to Vivi. :joy::hearts:

Lool, Simi passive-aggressively saying into Vivi's face that he's just curious how things will unfold regarding all past events, lies and betrayals. :joy: He played that super well with a straight face!

So sad to see Vivi go back to this ugly self of hers, pointing fingers at Anett and try to bring her down just to save Jani's ass. Too bad it won't help you. :slight_smile:
Okay, but I do like that Vivi explained her vote on Anett by saying that even though she (Anett) is surely a cool person in the "outside life" and they would probably befriend each other there, she is a strong contestant here. Not genuinely hating on Anett is nice of her. (Well, unless Vivi is only acting like that.) And Jani is also adorable for saying he's ashamed of himself for voting on Anett because it didn't come from his heart. :hearts:

By not interviewing Vivi alone mid-scenes, and by us not seeing/hearing her one-on-one talk with Tomi, I'm a 100% sure now that she'll do the right thing and fuck the dumb-and-dumber trio over. :wink:

AYYYY, THAT'S MY GIRLLL!! "In Vivi we trust" was my motto from last episode up until the big reveal - which wouldn't have come as much of a shock to Nóra for example if she would be able to use her tiny brain. :laughing: Vivi's facial expressions showed so much disgust whenever she talked to that trio that I'm genuinely surprised that not even the manipulator, Gergő himself didn't notice that something was off. Well, as Anett and Vivi put it: the hero-wannabe fell into his own ego's trap. :person_shrugging:

LOOOOLLL. The second Nóra loses Gergő, she's like "nope, I can't do this". Then she manages to describe not wanting to manipulate people in order to play this game because she's not like that... Could be true, yes, but the opposite is also true to her boyfriend. So she essentially described her undesired characteristics which apply perfectly to Gergő.
I'm all for women supporting women. That's why I'm saying that Nóra has to get out of that relationship asap and has to go to therapy. For an almost 30yo woman (well, she's more of a girl) to be this fragile and this weak mentally and emotionally... she's gotta work that out with a professional. That's not normal. The dependency and level of attachment she has for Gergő is not normal. Yes, you can love someone a lot. But the fact that she clings onto him whenever possible and can only open her mouth when he's there right next to her... Just nope. Go to therapy. Alone.

I love how those 4 stupid idiots thought that all of them sabotaging the team just a bit wouldn't be obvious... Well, you 4 immediately going away from the campsite right after that letter was already obvious, would even be for dimwits like you, so... :joy:

The funny thing is that all (remaining) 3 dumb-and-dumbers thought that they should stick to their very "not-"obvious plan of losing on purpose - but they didn't realize that Vivi will have none of it. She wants to win, she hated Gergő in their previous team too for backstabbing her and sabotaging that team too, so she will gladly join Tomi, Anett and Zsombor to vote that annoying-ass manipulator Gergő out. :joy::joy: The idiot trio's only chance would've been if they fought for the win, but they fucked this up royally.

Major kudos to Zsombor for dealing with Olivér's maniacal outburst as calmly as he did. Not fueling that monke, simply replying the bare minimum, and mostly just leaving him be. Olivér threw Tomi's age around that he helps out a lot, etc., now look at Olivér who's a lot older but on a mental level of an 8yo who doesn't get what he wants. :joy::joy: Biggest clown of this season.

I truly hope that Vivi is only bluffing with those 3 and she genuinely wants to kick Gergő out as soon as possible. She's smart. So unless she's playing by a really twisted logic (kicking the stronger people out and leaving those in whom everyone hates, just to reserve a sure ticket for herself in the endgame), then I believe in her judgement.

Oh, okay... then Kang really was trying to lock his lock around Pimfah's... Okay, cool, no worries... I'm just still confused af... I thought he was jealous because he wanted Sailom too, not because he wants Pimfah... (Which, again, doesn't make much sense since he's been treating her and looking at her as a friend up until last episode, sooo...)

Why is everyone mad at Sailom for not liking Pimfah?? Kang, the teacher (kinda, she's more worried about Pimfah), Pimfah herself (more sad than mad, but shhhh)... Like bro, ya can't control who your heart wants!

Kang dared to lie into poor baby Sailom's face?! BRO?! Even if he didn't feel love, he felt something. I get not wanting to lead on someone you're not interested in at all, but Kang has shown various signs of being at least a slightly bit interested in Sailom. Romantically.
Hence why he visited Sailom when he was sick. And cloth-bathed him. And did their project all night. Sitting close to Sailom.
Guy visiting Sailom, bringing him food and feeding him was :heart_eyes:!

Olivér once again proves his 50 IQ by saying "há' elborult-- na, kiborult a mécses" (sorry, too lazy to translate) without seeing anything wrong with that "saying". :joy::joy:

This time I genuinely think the Jarakay guys have it figured out: Zera could very well be in the middle of menopause. Or she really just loves to stir the pot that much. (I know people from both camps, and oh boy, Zera sure fits the criteria.) Even if it was her idea first and Attila just used it after hearing it from her, a simple half-joking, half-serious little comment (in a friendly way!) would've been enough, then she should've just let it go. I get that she's vocal about her opinions, but ruining the good vibes solely because some absolutely minor thing is bothering you is not worth it - should not be worth it.

A glance to the promo of the next episode made me calm seeing that there will be 2 new tribes from (our) next week on. That is only fair cuz from the moment poor Zsombi lost that duel to Wendy, it was obvious that those 4 cowards would intentionally want to lose the game for the totem and vote Zsombor (or someone of the 3 remaining OG Buhawi) out. I'm glad that the director(?) noticed it and was willing to change the dynamics.

I don't get why Anett and Tomi (and maybe Zsombi, but he said multiple times that he hates conflicts) didn't dare to oppose Gergő or help Zsombor out when they sat down and revealed Gergő and Nóri's relationship. When the 3 of them (Zsombor, Anett and Tomi) talked about this a bit later, they both agreed with Zsombor. So... why do they never take Zsombor's side and just stay quiet, leaving him totally alone in the "battle" against Nóri, and now Gergő? Only because they don't want to be on Gergő and Nóri's hitlist? Or because they don't want to partake in any type of conflict to not be on anyone's radar? Ehh...

While I don't necessarily agree with the choice of leaving Wendy out because of communication issues (although it does seem valid to do so), I certainly don't get why would Wendy suggest Zsombor immediately - other than the obvious reason that she doesn't like him. I'm not sure if she said any argument cuz I didn't hear any, but dude... like... She insists that she's intelligent, she just cannot prove it because they don't give her a chance to. But tiny glimpses like this one prove that no, she's not smart. She wanted to leave Zsombor out of a challenge FULL OF physical components, when Zsombor is the 3rd strongest guy out of the 5 (and he's probably stronger than all 3 of the girls - only Anett would stand a slight chance against him). Just because Wendy doesn't like Zsombor, she wanted him to not participate in the challenge. Smart, right? She is smart, right? :person_facepalming:

I think the cramp was genuine, you could see the pain on Gergő's face. However, I really hope that this will make him the target of the vote. (Though I could see some truce being made between him and Zsombor in the sneak peek, sooo...)

I'm kinda bummed about Emma, but I also know it was the right choice for the tribe. She showed a glimpse of her true power in the last game where she stood for the longest out of the 3 people from Jarakay, but sadly that wasn't enough. I think her biggest mistake was that she was so incredibly passive throughout these 9 days. Barely ever talking, hiding in the shadows. Not even on the day of the voting. I think she knew she was gonna go home - hence the bracelets to Zera and Viki -, and she just accepted it without talking to anyone to see where their head's at, or maybe even convincing them to not vote on her. This passiveness was gonna be her obvious downfall from day 1.

Lol, I'm gonna be an asshole, but I love how Nóri nor Wendy were even mentioned as possible participants for any part of the game. :joy::joy: Once again shows them how useful their team thinks they are.

It's really sad that Gergő took the route of playing with the blocks like a 90yo (as Jani oh so beautifully said), but it's a whole another level of sad that he had to play dumb that obviously to lose because Zera was actually, genuinely incredibly bad at it. :joy: I'll laugh my ass off if Gergő's "trick" will be all for nothing and he'll go to Jarakay at the end. :joy::joy:
I was sad for Karagatan on multiple occasions because of Gergő's bullshittery, but this one... this one takes the cake. Olivér, Jani and Vivi were so fucking awesome in their respective parts, they were first (or a really close second, idk), only for them to be fucked over, once again, but this time really not subtly, by Gergő. I totally understand and feel their anger and disappointment, and just hope for the worst in this game for Gergő and Nóri. :blush:

You know what I don't understand? Why apply for a game when you're a whiny, weak, dumb and so easily manipulated girl (cuz she's older than me but I sure as hell don't see her as a woman) with your boyfriend whose only role there is to be with you for moral support or whatever? If you're that weak on so many levels, just stay home and let those people have the opportunity who actually want to do this game, who are actually fit for it. Mentally, physically and emotionally. I see NEITHER of these 3 in Nóri.

Enough of these lowlifes though. Zsombi, MY BOY, ZSOMBI was amazing!! Truly the gamer, the logical thinker. I have no clue why Zera didn't just do the easiest and fastest way (that Zsombi chose, and I guess what Gergő would've chosen if he didn't throw) and just try every block's each side, every (main) angle one by one. It wasn't a game where you had certain amounts of tries, you could literally go HAM and speedrun it like Zsombi did. I hope this guy has earned some (more) respect from the others this way. :blush:

Man, I really wish Vivi would've said "You fucked us over for Buhawi? Alright, then we'll go there with Jani, so your plan to join Buhawi can go down the drain". She's smart for figuring the Gergő-Nóri thing out (tho Gergő apparently wasn't smart mentioning his girlfriend's name and writing N-s in rocks like a teenage girl), and I truly hope she'll be able to use that info against them in the future.

I LOVE Tomi's choice of bringing Zsombor and Anett with him! I was already prepared for him to choose Wendy - and by her death stare, I think she was sure of it too :joy: -, but I'm so so glad that he chose Zsombor instead (Anett was evident for me). Tomi has grown in my eyes a bit. (He said his choice was not tactical, I don't fully believe that in the case of Zsombor, I'm still cautious with my opinion on him, but this, indeed, was a fair choice. Unlike Nóri saying Wendy did the most for the tribe. :joy::joy::joy: That was cringe af.)

I totally feel Vivi on this one, and - surprise, surprise - ever since she isn't hanging out that much with Jani (or at least not on camera), her personality and thinking process are much much more like at the beginning when I heard her talk for the first time and I was like "okay, I think I'll like her". Same goes to her as to Tomi - I'm being cautious with how much trust or sympathy I give her, but as of right now, she's alright.

Okay, so at the end of last episode, we knew which 2 tribes were gonna vote someone out. By the end of this episode, we still don't know who'll leave Jarakay. :expressionless:

Okay, yet again I wholeheartedly agree with Zsombor: this is a diplomacy meeting. Wendy doesn't speak Hungarian on a native level (duh, even some Hungarians don't :joy:). I get that she wants to prove herself, but ffs... choose any other challenge, physical or intellectual, just NOT where you have to use the Hungarian language.
I was surprised that literally no one voted for Nóri though. I would've given her the opportunity to prove herself this time instead of Wendy. I'd rather have a tribe member there who can speak Hungarian fluently than someone who cannot but kinda has good charisma. Zsombor was once again super raw and harsh, but I think he spoke the words everyone thought of: the other two tribes will laugh at them if they send Wendy, the only foreign person, to a meeting where you have to use the Hungarian language as your sword. (Or, well, since this is diplomatic, then... olive branch?)

It's funny how after the diplomacy meeting, Wendy said that she thinks the Karagatan tribe was honest and truthful, then just 10 seconds later Tomi said that they (the K. tribe) applied emotional blackmail and manipulation on them (Wendy and Tomi). :joy::joy: I'm sorry, witnessing all of the meetings, I'm not sure how would I have reacted either if I only knew one side (of the K. tribe's talking) and the other not, but Wendy's and Tomi's differing experiences might have just proved Zsombor's point - that Wendy just doesn't speak Hungarian that well to see the hidden meanings. Or she's just bad at reading people in general. :sweat_smile:

I love that they all played one of the other tribes, so now I literally do not know (I'm still mid-episode) who each tribe will pick. Well, since the youngsters did agree beforehand that they would pick Jarakay as their allies, I guess that's solved, but I have no idea about the others. I feel like the oldies are being played super hard. Especially if they're gonna get 2 votes. :') (I'm glad Zera noticed the body gestures though, like Vivi's intense stare and Gergő not even looking at them while speaking.)
I'd be really disappointed though if the youngsters would vote on the oldies. Firstly because they had such a cute bonding moment together, and even when Zera and Attila later told it to the J. tribe, they were all so adorable and smitten with "their kids". :cry::heart_eyes: Secondly, because, well... they fucking agreed to try to become allies with the J. tribe before they went on this meeting. And Wendy saying that she won't try to change Tomi's mind and is on board with the plan - only to then try to make Tomi vote against J. anyway... I think that says a lot about how much one can trust her word.

Zera does have a truth in her words, however from her phrasing and "knowing" her personality, her intentions aren't pure either. It's not "the guys don't let us, women, speak", but rather "the guys don't let me speak". Which, I know, can be frustrating too, I'm not arguing otherwise. However, from what I've seen so far, Zera didn't have any mindblowing ideas or tactics. So it's not like "the men are dumb that they don't listen to the voice of reason". I'm still agreeing with her, that yes, everyone should have a say in what they will do, what the technique will be, but since Zera herself didn't remember/realize that they had to put the n1 barrel on the platform first, I'm not sure why is she so pissed that they didn't listen to her. That was their team's only mistake, and it was huge because NONE of them knew that they should put the barrel first.

I was super surprised how Zsombor told his raw, honest opinion about Nóri and Wendy. I wholeheartedly agree with him (though I most probably would've tried to deliver it less harshly like Tomi did), and it's so sad to hear Nóri deflect these "allegations" and instead blame Zsombor and overall the boys. Yeah, they're not buff bulls like Jani or Kori, but for their fitness levels (especially the gamer boy, Zsombi) they are doing really well. Nóri and Wendy are deadweights in this team. Sorry to put it this harshly, but it is what it is.

Also, I just remembered... Didn't Emma say she trained for this show for 6 years? That's one thing that she passed out at the beginning - that can happen to anyone -, but she willingly steps out of the games. Aren't the games a core part of the Survivor experience? Then why rob yourself of that? She's far from the strongest, she's far from the smartest (or at least she hadn't said any good ideas out loud yet), she doesn't participate in the games, so... what were all those years of "training" for?

Bro, I would be FUMING if I were on team blue, knowing what the viewers know. Like imagine having a teammate who, basically from day 2, SABOTAGES the team because tHe LoVE oF hIs LiFe is on the other team. I didn't like his previous comment either (if he had to choose between loyalty to his gf and loyalty to his team, he'd choose his gf in a heartbeat - super romantic (:face_vomiting:), but still fucking over his teammates who are innocent), and now this... Dude, if you can't put aside your relationship in a game... no, rather if you apply for a game from your own free will, knowing that you'll most probably have to play against your gf (who also applied from her own free will), PLAY THE GAME PROPERLY.
Even in gaming, I'm so pissed at (mostly) kids who start to throw because of petty reasons, but man, this is a whole another level. Them being all lovey-dovey was annoying af already (which is cringier than puppy love cuz these people are 29 and 32 yo), so now I can't wait even more for the teammates to realize they have been hindered with by the loverboy.

Zsombor's worst-case-scenario being him crying from the pain or feeling sick cuz he "can't allow that to himself" makes me shake my head in disbelief so fucking much. I cannot believe that from team yellow, the fucking 22yo, the youngest(!!) is the most mature and logical one. Almost all of that team is a mockery of my generation. (And yes, I wouldn't be able to do all these tiring games, be on the lvl heatstroke sun, eat minimal food, and sleep badly. But since I know my limitations, I'm not even thinking about joining Survivor. I do have the mental strength, I believe - which Zsombor obviously doesn't, if crying is his worst nightmare -, and I also have the brains to know that my body couldn't handle this environment.)

The youtuber guy, however, is still a mystery to me. Sometimes he's really level-headed and says things that suggest that he's mature enough to think like that, and other times he seems like a typical gamer guy with no irl skills. (I'm sorry, I know this is harsh, but I genuinely hope he'll break the gamer stereotype.) Like forgetting the fucking fire-maker device in his pockets when going swimming. :joy::joy::joy:

1) Poor Patrick doesn't deserve this.

2) Ari is, has been, and most probably will continue to be the biggest b*tch of this series. Seriously, I have no idea why does every second guy fall for her in Las Encinas. Prettiness is one thing, that's preference, and I'm not gonna say anything rude towards the actress - but the character is so annoying, selfish and vain among other things, that I am just baffled that even the amazing guys like Nico want her. Both him and Patrick were totally right, they summed up Ari in this season (if not in the whole series): she's just out for men (well, specifically one body part of them), and she's ruining everything good she has with her behaviour and by drinking all the time. At this point, I would watch the series even faster if the next season would start with Ari bleeding out. Yes, I know, too harsh. But damn, she's annoying af.

3) Isa is adorable. Dídac is adorable. Polite. Patient. Understanding. Amazing. I love them separately, and I sure as hell will love them when they end up together. Isa deserves a loving and trusted guy like Dídac. I hope the creators of the show won't screw this up, and we'll finally get to see one healthy couple. Please.

4) Oh, Sara... Other than Mencía's advances on her a few times, she (Mencía) did a wonderful job trying to help and guide Sara. Explaining that she's been through this too. Understanding her. Fighting for her even when she (Sara) herself doesn't see things clearly.

So uhh... Iván really deducted all of that bs about Patrick after he took the fall and blame for the things Cruz did, even making the painful decision to let his love go after he realized he acted kinda foolishly? Patrick literally admitted his mistake, yet all Iván concludes from all this is that Patrick is selfish? What?? Not to mention Iván not seeing anything wrong with kissing Isa, his friend, ON THE MOUTH, just a few minutes after calling himself Patrick's boyfriend? Two words: good riddance. Hope Patrick can find a decent guy next time. (He'll most likely end up with Iván again, I know, but a girl can dream. :person_shrugging:)

On the other hand, the best boi award goes for Dídac for not just considering Isa's words that he may not know his childhood friend that well after all, but also going out of his way to get the truth out of Javi, record it, show it to Isa (and Sara), apologize to her for not believing her, and offer to throw his guilty (ex-)friend in front of the bus without any hesitation - because he believes that justice should be served. This is how people should be. :muscle:
