Daily Dose of Sunshine: 1x12 Daily Dose of Sunshine

Since the romantic plotline did come true, I'd rather it would've been with Yu-chan. He has much more chemistry together with Da-eun, plus Dr. Dong didn't really do anything with Da-eun for her to fall in love with him. Other than saving her life. But no, really, they didn't once hang out, just met sometimes on the bus, and that was it. For me their relationship feels forced from Da-eun's side.

The other aspects of this show were amazing. I loved both the separate and the intertwined storylines, the little insight into different mental illnesses, and practical advice for those who are dealing with these, and for those whose loved one is the affected person.

Bad Buddy: 1x08 Episode 8

The hand-holding and the balcony scene, omgg!

So let me get this straight. Pran is all jittery and no-no about Pat taking a picture of them, even taking a picture only of Pran's food with his hands barely visible, yet he has multiple photos of them posing together on his bedroom wall where Wai and his friends can easily see. :person_facepalming:

The ending was a bit too overdramatized for me, like come on, with everyone sitting just 5-10 meters away from the guys, they could've easily heard everything without the curtain "accidentally" falling down...

Those scenes with Jean hit really close to home... They were so well-done, especially from Otis' perspective.

I don't know about you guys but for me Amy telling Glenn to kill himself was waaaay out of line. You never EVER should say that to ANYONE, especially to your boss who you don't even hate at all. Lashing out is one thing, you can do that by adding "fucking" in front of every word, but this...

Squid Game: 1x06 Gganbu

Oh man, I fucking hated this episode (in a good way?). I knew I'd get attached to Il-nam, but man, to lose both him and Ali in the same episode, and for both of them to be tricked by a trusted main character... I shed tears. :sob:

I don't understand how could none of the smarty-pants even think about maybe playing against their partner, like... that's was basically my second thought, but when I saw that most of the main characters paired up with each other, I was like "nah, surely they wouldn't do that". But they did...
Man, I pitied poor Ali so much, can't believe he didn't even hesitate to trust all his marbles to that prick who insulted and threatened him literally minutes before that (which I thought was just acting but I guess the lawyer guy really is that cruel then).

Wentworth: 8x09 Monster

Omg, I just understood it at the recap why Marie hid the poison that Lou made when Reb told her (Marie) that people in their previous institution died because of poison... :person_facepalming:

Ohhohooo, the the/rapist "pun" was so clever!

I don't comment on this series at all, so now that I do, I wanna emphasize how much I love these actors. They're truly talented, and you can also see the development in their relationships on-screen: they're serious when they have to be but can be so chill and just goof around (especially the actresses of Boomer and Ruby). Sometimes they even leave genuine laughs and (probably) improvised scenes in because they're so realistically good. Ah man, I love this show.

Didn't mention it the last 2 times, but I just LOVE the "nicknames" or "professions" written below the judges' names (like "French Willy Wonka" in the last episode xD), and also loving how the Frosted Tip sections have become just as trolling as the nicknames. :'D

Bird Box

I've read the book before watching the movie, so I thought this adaptation would be ridiculous because the whole idea of the story is not being able to look - which a book can actually represent, but a movie... well, not. I was really surprised and positively disappointed the more the movie advanced. They didn't copy and paste everything by the book, of course, but the "new" scenes weren't bad at all either. I could definitely connect more with the characters here than when I was reading the original one.
And though the movie doesn't give you answers regarding the outbreak, the creatures and the people who can open their eyes and function well at the same time (same as the book), I didn't feel that the story was unfinished or incomplete.

The 100: 4x07 Gimme Shelter

Bellamy blamed Kane for his mother's death, but wasn't Jaha the chancellor that time who ordered her floating (when they discovered she had a second child - Octavia - what was not allowed on the Ark)? Even the scriptwriters can't remember the storyline...

Lookism: 1x08 Wall

Damn, the pretty girl turning out to be "not so pretty" is a disappointment for me - that means that she was only (or mostly) kind to Hyeong-Seok because she herself was "ugly" too in her original body...

The ending suggests a 2nd season which I'll definitely tune in on when/if it arrives. I liked this show a lot, especially how it portrayed Hyeong-Seok's relationship evolving with his mother.

Semantic Error: 1x08 Episode 8

The laughing romantic scenes must've been genuine laughs, and I'm so happy that the guys could create a comfortable enough bond with each other to be able to have fun and not have awkward acting! It's incredibly good to see not only because of this, but because of the age difference between the actors (20 and 28 y.o.). The gap itself isn't super big (though it's not small either), but there must've been a gap between the guys' maturity, or, well, simple life experiences. That's why I'm so glad that their chemistry turned out pretty comfortable.

This drama, and especially this episode, captures the fear and worry around a new relationship so beautifully. I haven't seen a BL show it so good before (only maybe the "omg, I am in love with a boy, I am gay" part, but not the actual, everyday "omg, we like each other, what do I do?" part).

Wooo, finally Sean can be 100% sure about his suspicions! I'm so happy he made Black spit it out! And also big round of applause for Gun who portrays Black so distinctively from White that the atmosphere actually changes when he's interacting with Sean or the group as White vs. as Black.

Bad Buddy: 1x12 Episode 12

I'm kinda disappointed in this episode, not sure why, it just seemed... rushed maybe? Thai series love to do a cliffhanger in the penultimate episode then solve the cliffhanger and add 1000 other things in the last episode. This felt exactly like that, not a chill ending. 4 years later, who has what job, who lives where, who's paired up with who, how's the parents' relationship with each other, how's the parents' relationship with their kids, what happened after the cliffhanger, who are the selected few that officially know about the relationship, is there even a relationship anymore, high school reunion, guys' reunion, secret meetings in the past, secret relationship, etc., etc...

Aside from these, I wished there was a bit better chemistry between the actors. They had very few truly kissing scenes, and their overall acting was just a tiny bit above the usual Thai BL "acting". I'm dumbfounded why people under the YT episode say this series is the finest of all Thai BL history and whatnot. It's really far from that. The acting was mediocre, the chemistry was mediocre, the plot was nothing special. Just your usual Thai BL, perhaps one level above the average.

HOL'UP. Did Korn just say "I thought you said you liked someone in Architecture"?? Did Pat say that to his friend(s)?? OMG.

I'm not sure if Pat is just messing with Pran by saying that he likes Ink... He seemed to realize his feelings for Pran in the past episodes, so it would be quite disappointing if Pat actually (thinks he) feels something towards Ink.

Yo, let me get this straight... Pran's parents fucking TRANSFERRED their kid to a new school because he was playing in the same band as the kid whose parents they're rivaling with?? Bish, I know these are only characters in a TV series, but some people really shouldn't have kids.

Atypical: 2x06 In the Dragon's Lair

We already caught some glimpses of Zahid being a really good friend to Sam, but this episode highlighted his caring and attentive personality even more. Loved how he took care of the bedroom then the police station situation! And yaas, he applied to nurse school!

Elsa is a big yikes - not with the overprotection thing but with going out to drink in a long time and basically immediately flirting with a guy when she's married. Not sure if her marriage is bad but judging by only this first episode, especially the dinner time, it should be okay.
Casey is a badass sis, I already like her a lot. Protecting the "weak" while also not treating her autistic brother differently than she would a "normal" brother. I also already like her budding chemistry with Evan. He was really sweet with Sam at their house, and you can tell it wasn't (only) because he likes Casey and wants to impress her.

So uhh kissing your stepbro when he's drunk - unacceptable. Cool. Breaking into his home, stalking him and his friends, punching his friend in the gut, intoxicating your stepbro on purpose and sexually assaulting him while he's drunk - acceptable? This kid has some weeeird standards.

The last scene was cute with the guys supporting Xiao Yeh. Li Cheng's actor's acting is waay more believable when he doesn't have to be all goofy and cringe.

Was surprising for me that Felice's roommate spoke fluent English, Sara&Simon's mom fluent Spanish, yet in both cases the person they were talking to answered in (I guess) Swedish. I have no idea how many people/families are like this, but it's still kinda weird that they are having a conversation one speaking English/Spanish and the other speaking Swedish only...

Other than that, I reeeeeally like the chemistry between the boys! Simon's actor's glances and little smiles seem so genuine, and Wille is adorable being kinda awkward around Simon, wanting to get close to him step by step. Super strong start!

Love By Chance: 2x05 Episode 5

Okay, now I'm 100% sure they just recycled last season's TinCan parts and recorded them again for this season. This is ridiculous... As ridiculous as Tin in the shower with his uniform on. That was never ever relatable, just weird af.

And again, between cuts just seconds from each other, we can clearly see on Tin's bedside clock that in reality ~10 minutes have passed. :person_facepalming:

It's pretty hard to rate the episodes cuz like 60-70% of them is literally from season 1 replayed by the actors, so... I like what I see, but the fact that I saw a lot of this already in this same show is just ridiculous.

The white policemen vs. black people hits a bit differently with the recent news... I'm so glad that the show included this topic. I can't wrap my head around the motive of these "people" hating and using aggression unnecessarily on people with a different skin color from theirs.

2gether: The Series: 1x04 Episode 4

I may have to correct my first comment, since it's not the first time I'm noticing this. Is Sarawat actually interested in Tine? Like from the very beginning? He's showing signs of jealousy (like when he drank the slushie when he saw Tine talking with Pear... the slushie he bought for Tine because he said he's thirsty), he's doing things opposed to his usual self (creating an IG account, letting Tine in his room without a word)... A gay/bi/interested-from-the-beginning main character - that would be a fresh concept in Thai BL.

Okay, after finishing the episode, I'm 100% sure Sarawat had eyes for Tine from the beginning. Maybe not from day 1, but definitely somewhere at the start of their interactions.

The actor who plays Jack is really charismatic, and so far his acting is the most believable (well, not counting that he smiles a bit too much, even at parts where he's supposed to be serious :'D). I liked him flirting with the spy guy, but since it turned out that he's a spy, therefore their enemy, I approve of him and the innocent puppy police officer. :3

Partners for Justice: 2x32 Ji Han’s Decision

That letter of resignation felt rushed to me. I know Do Ji Han almost payed with his life to go after Jang Cheol and Gal Dae Cheol at the same time, but his character was the forever going forward type. The Doberman who once grabs at something, doesn't let go. It was kinda a let-down that they made this character quit at the end. [Alright, watching until the end (even after the credits), I understand. I understand everything. :33]

THE POST-CREDITS SCENE, OMGGG. When I saw there were only less than 10 mins left, I already knew that the show has to have a 3rd season, but AFTER THE CREDITS!! Even more of a must. I was pumping my fists in the air, damn, that trio (especially if Eun Sol would join them)...! Though I think I have to rewatch the series from the beginning for next year because there were already a lot of things I forgot from the first season. ^^"

After the first 2 episodes introducing the somewhat cliché characters and offering some cliché situations, I'm glad this episode took a serious turn. It's also really good how we get to know each character's backstory from episode to episode.
