Okay now they ruined multiple things in this episode.
The whole hacking method is a joke. The cheap flight scenes really have to improve.
You clearly see them struggling with their harnas wish makes the flying look very odd and unrealistic.
Also the whole kryptonian shield that neglects the powers in it just is the most retarted idea ever.They really should come up with some original stuff that makes things better and not the other way around.
Even smallville had better special effects than this one and that is way old by now.I'm guessing their gonne cancel this show soon.
AND OMG AT 43:03 of this epîsode what the hell was that? lol.
Almost pissed my pants when seeying that scene. So the Kryptonian goes in his sit pose and all the soldier just bend down over him?

It's a TV show - it doesn't have the budget for movie grade special effects and cgi, the budget will increase with each season so as the show continues the effects will get better, since it got a full season order the budget may have been increased then so maybe you'll notice a change in the back half of the season. And, lets be honest, you lost any and all credibility the minute you used an ableist slur.
First of all, I cannot believe that we are already halfway through Season 4. Seems like it's flown by. So glad to see my sweet summer child Krystal again! She's so close to finding out the truth and yet still so far. Now someone needs to find my boy Tony ASAP. They just introduced him and dropped him and I still haven't been able to forgive them for that.
Also, that scene after the baby was born where Cosima chatted with her maker Susan was one of the best of the series by far. Susan saying "I created you as a beautiful baseline to unlock the mysteries of the human genome." gave me chills.
Finally, I guess it's official that Kira is an empath with the clones which is something I've suspected since Season 2. "There are even some I don't know about." I swear before this show ends Tatiana will have played about 30 different clones. I do hope that we figure out why Kira has this ability though. I assume it has something to do with why Sarah was able to get pregnant naturally in the first place.

I agree! It was definitely a throw back to the eighties genre of films like Goonies, E.T., and Stand By Me. I really enjoyed this! I guess it's just a one season show though? I hope not! Netflix has really changed the game of TV with the 1 season , 6-10 episode show. Now the network's are doing the same thing!

So my fave ship from Season 1 is finally reunited. Propane (Rachel x Windows), how I've missed thee. Never part again.
And, of course, if something is given, something has to be taken away, so apparently this is goodbye to my dear Beth. I have to say that this season's Beth arc was easily one of my favorite things that has happened on this show. It gave this show the much needed boost it needed after last season's Castor debacle. Sarah seeing Beth again while on the bridge near the train station broke me. When Beth said "We need you." I almost lost it.
The main two questions I need answered now are: Where the hell is Helena? I can understand why she left, but that doesn't explain why we haven't seen her. The woman is pregnant with twins and I need to know she's okay. And of course, is Delphine alive or not? It's been 7 episodes since she was shot and all we know is that Krystal saw someone pick her up and she was still alive at that time. If she is alive, I bet she shows up in the last seconds of the season finale or Cosima gets some phone call from her at the end of the episode.
This season is jockeying back and forth with Season 1 in the favorite season department. Actually, I think when the season is over, I'm going to watch Season 1 and Season 4 back to back.

I really, really hope this is the final season.
As for what was different about this ep - nothing. That's kind of the point. This show is just stuck on a permanent loop of "more of the same". While that worked for it in the past, it just doesn't anymore? It just always feels like the writers have no clue what they're doing, or where they're going and are making it up as they go along. I'm tired of it.

@krystalgoderitch I have this Head Canon thing where Charlie's Brown's father had a secret love affair with Charlie Brown's teacher in the recent past. But, realizing how this could hurt this family, he broke it off with her, in the worse way possible.
The Teacher, realizing she could loose her job if it got out, decided to take our her anger and vengeance on Charlie Brown; while the other kids had to read A Christmas Carol over the holidays (a much smaller novel), Charlie Brown was given this enormous book to read. And no matter how hard he tried, he wasnt going to get above a D-....

Wow, they actually killed Laurel, The Black Canary, but before she died she gave her blessing to "Olicity"?!!?!?!?!?! First Sara (but at least she came back only to go to another show), then Laurel, so I guess this means they'll kill of Lance next since he really has no purpose anymore. Oh wait, he's precious Felicity's mommy's stud muffin, so I'll guess he'll stick around and have tons to do! This show's getting on my nerves. If it goes on like this i'm surely dropping it. LAUREL ACTUALLY SHIPPED OLIVER AND FELICITY AS HER DYING WORDS. How this episode was rated 79% is beyond me. Also the way she died, didn't have the same emotional impact like with Tommy or Moira. I miss that Arrow :'(

It's a spy thriller in a sci-fi setting. One of the show's creators said as much. In my review of the previous episode, I said, "Think of it as The Matrix Lite." What is the Colony? Control. Not everything is as it seems, either at the societal level or with the individual characters, and trying to figure out the truth is part of what I enjoy about the show.

I think you missed the point. Life IS a "distraction to death" as they said, but they also said that is "a pretty good distraction" and you have to "keep the 'hope peas' on the show" and "stay to busy to think" about that and deal with what you have and hope that it will get better.
The whole show has lost its sheen and has become boring.
