Another mind fuck episode and the best after credits so far
Amy: Writing things down is nerdy? What do you do?
Rosa: Just forget stuff like a cool person.
I'm giving it a 10 because of the beautiful last scene. So elegant and well executed. Though the episode and the second half of the season were all over the place and the characters made no sense and I really didn't like it...I kept watching because it always delivered something no other show on tv has (and Fuller always gives me), and that's the cinematographic quality. And that last scene had it all.
They actually had Freddie call them murder husbands?! I love this show.
Made me dream, made me wonder, made me think. Great commentary on the path dependency of modern society, making a strong case to escape civilization and live life more freely and adventurous. Also a great reminder that "happiness is only real when shared".
Too much time passed between seasons. Very difficult to remember some of the characters and plot lines.
The entire Rose plot has been straight-up bad. This season, every scene with Rose, Unity, or The Corinthian has been bad. The characters are shallow and poorly written, the tone feels completely off when they're around, and the acting isn't great either. This has been a poor finale to end a wildly inconsistent and disappointing season of television.
would have liked it if korra had lost her bending for a little longer than five minutes but ¯_(ツ)_/¯
General Amaya's Sign language during the grave scene:
Hello Sister.
You were my heroine.
Perfect, strong, unwavering.
Kind and true.
I'm sorry, big sister.
I have failed.
I had your boys safely with me, but let them slip away.
When leaving Gren:
I trust you.
You were my voice.
Be my will and save the boys.

I had my hearth on my throat during the whole episode!! AMAZING!
The parody of the baseball scene from Twilight (Muse included) fkng killed me.
They should've called this film People Who Know Dumbo because when you replace the talking animals of the original cartoon with human actors, the movie stops being about Dumbo and more about people's drama. It's sad, actually, because the cartoon about Dumbo had more heart than anyone in this technological display.
Excuse me sir, sir could you please not eat the artwork?
Loved Marwa being all kissy with Guillermo, after the show just established she was wished by Nandor to like everything he likes.
Tarantino’s debut is still one of his best films. The opening sequence has been often imitated and referenced, but it does showcase Tarantino’s use of banter, natural dialogue and pop culture to bring his characters to life. Here it works well, immediately giving the audience a sense of all the important personalities within the film and the relationships between them. By dropping us into the aftermath of the heist, the film’s strength is in the use of flashback to build intrigue over what happened, but equally important is the hook that there might be an insider. This allows Tarantino to gradually develop his characters in the flashbacks beyond simply focusing on how the dilemma they find themselves in will be solved. Buscemi and Keitel in particular stand out and whilst Madsen has repeated himself ad nauseam in other films, he is still effective here. The soundtrack and costume design all serve to emphasise how hip and cool the characters are, but this is punctuated with the violence that remind us they are brutal too. Its this juxtaposition of coolness and violence that marked the film out as something different, no more so than in the still shocking scene of Madsen torturing someone. Some of the flashback scenes do occasionally outstay their welcome, though there is a lot of humour drawn out from them and the authenticity in his dialogue that Tarantino appears to strive for is sometimes stretched as characters vie to show who is top dog. But these minor quibbles don’t stop this from being a tightly edited and well paced crime thriller.
It's funny how all these romance movies are exactly the same and yet we still keep watching them. The truth is, we all know what is going to happen before we even watch the movie. But we still watch and still somewhat enjoy them even though they're overly cheesy and predictable. My biggest take away: I want to go to New Zealand!
Don't know how to feel about the episode with the most character development getting undone for the sake of it. But it's kind of the point of the show maybe? I don't know.... I don't know anything.
Never in my wildest dream I imagine Captain Holt say cowabunga, but here I am
always glad to see hannibal get the shit beat outta him
zutara will always be the true ship
Pardon my language, but holy fuck.
Easily the best episode yet, and for the sole reason of being an emotional wallop mixed in with some truly stellar visuals and ideas. Doctor Strange has always been one of my favourite characters in the MCU for the sole reason of that he is magnificently flawed - he is arrogant, unable to accept failure, and ridiculously human in his emotions. This episode puts that at the forefront by showcasing a Strange who goes to the dark side in his unwillingness to accept the death of Christine (whose relationship with Strange is done better here then in his own movie oddly enough) and the consequences that lend from that.
It's this emotional center that puts it a league above the other episodes with only maybe the T'Challa episode reaching those heights, and if anything proves that Multiverse of Madness, which is getting closer and closer, is a film to be extremely excited for.
This is not star trek. It's a soap opera that follows around Michael while many of the crew, helmswoman etc barely say a peep. Too much sex, no exploration. Gene Roddenberry would be rolling in his grave at that sight of this. I'm truly saddened by this is where Star trek ended up.. No moral of the story, just a developing timeline. I miss when each episode was by itself and also contributed... Now.. I don't know what this is. A travesty perhaps.
Did she just kiss him ? Really ?
Oh wait, not finished here. I'm writing this as its ongoing. SHE SLEPT WITH HIM.
Really disappointed that they would have a gender reveal party. I think that's a part of american trend/culture that should be quickly forgotten.
well there goes my favorite lesbian badass goddammit this show wont let me REST
Boy, has this been an underwhelming season! Aside from 2 or 3 episodes, the writing has felt so generic and uninspired. And I know this is supposed to be for younger audiences as well, but it seemed like they leaned on the childish lines and dialogues way too much this time around.
From what I understand, there’s an outlined plan for the 7 seasons and this has clearly been sort of a new beginning, with the time-jump and everything. The first season was also the weakest, while the second and third were way stronger… I hope it will be the same case now.
There is no way you feel emphathy for those astronauts because they are dumb as fuuuuuuuuuuuck
It started so good.... and then it got so clichéed and bad :( They could have done it a way too show them as sociopaths (because I suspect they were), and made them slowly have to deal with the consequences. Anyway, I was fine with dealing with the romance part (oh no! i have feelings!) and predictable love story... But was the car crash thing necessary? It seemed sooo contrived. Besides, I feel like he never got enough punishment... Yes he changed but he was still an asshole in the first part of the movie, so pushing the fault over to the sister in the end seemed really cheap! So I really LOVED the first part (manipulation, adressing double standards re. sexism and a lil of the racism that a lot of rich white people have) and then it sorta ended pftttttttttttttt.... They should've played up that "thriller" part, it had potential!
