aaaaa that became one of my favs
"Sorry, it was an accident."
"So was the Y chromosome, but you don't see us throwing stuff at it."
This show has a format where, 20 mins in while two people are having a conversation - one says. "what. what did you just say? ..." and they somehow use a single sentence to solve all the problems they're faced with.
[setting inside a pizza shop, Harvey is ordering a NY slice of pie] .. yes, but what kind of toppings do you want on your pizza, sir? .. WHAT did you just say to me? pizza toppings? the killer is allergic to onions, how could he have filed that lawsuit on the pizza sauce?!? hes innocent! "
... all that aside. how long before Harvey and Donna hook up. End of season? .. Next season? .. End of season I say.
It's just perfect. The end with Jessica Pearson was so unexpected, that's why I love Suits.
"My hand has blood"
"Ahh, mine too"
I don't understand why there isn't more buzz about this. It's such a great mix of subjects (like a combination of from Wag the Dog, House of Cards, The Thing, Fido, Mars Attacks...all in a way that is is much better than it sounds, and feels fresh, funny and topical (although, I am not sure how well this will look after the US Presidential Election).
After so many "me-two" programs nowadays, I'm loving BrainDead.
And I think the summaries at the start of each episode are brilliant!
If you like horror-comedies, this has got to be on your viewing list.
Great News is like 30 Rock AU in which Liz Lemon is having it all and becomes Jack Donaghy of the show.
Damn. That climax paired with Killing Moon. Loved it. Lillis was brilliant this episode.
Such a utterly short show. I need so much more.
Way too predictable. Not surprised by any of the 'reveals'. And again with the stupid mistakes, up to the last episode. The acting is great and the general plot is interesting and all, but the high production value doesn't make up for the added in mistakes to make the story progress. It's so lazy.
Police closes door before taking a single picture...
I somehow knew that this would happen how stupid it might be.
One thing is having no fear another one is being completely reckless, dumb, selfish, and annoying. Like if you have no fear why not go alone into the cave... nonsense drama.
Tyler and Nina get in relationships at the same time. As well as have their relationships go down hill at the same time. Which feels like lazy writing.
The show can be intriguing but this one has too much teen drama. The problem is that Bode is the best character of the siblings.
But the show centers on his older brother and sister too much. With some usual teen drama cliches happening.
The mom even has her own more interesting mystery going on. I’d also rather learn more about the Uncle (Aaron Ashmore).
Who the fuck kills themselves by putting a plastic bag over their own head? This episode was so bad :(
I'm already in love with this. The way it's shot and edited is goddamn amazing.
The episode was really moving, it is great that Anne and Gilbert confessed their love to each other and that Diana's parents allowed her to study with Anne, and the scene when the Cutberths bring Anne her mother's book was also quite touching. I would say it was a perfect ending to the show but for the Indian girl whose plot was left unresolved. It is hard to believe that Anne cared about Ka'kwet so much and then totally forgot her. When you introduce new characters at least have the decency to finish their character arch and do not leave their fate unexplained. It is good that Matthew is alive, though, from what I recall from the books, he died before Anne went to college, so that is a positive change, as a child I cried rivers as I read about Matthew's death.
Best episode of the season so far by a mile.
Hoping Nick dies soon, he’s so f*** annoying, ugh.
I knew that at one time or another I would start to hate this Isaac for real.
I want to like it, but it just stays so mediocre. It's like a dog running after it's own tail. Kind of like the trend of most DC shows the last few years. For some reason I keep watching because I hope it'll get better, but the try-hard way of attempting to be dark and sobby is just not working for me. I like the more unknown heroes being thrown in here, but I hope the season will pick up more sense soon. There's nothing wrong with the style itself. The characters and the quality are fine. The story is just very empty and the dark parts feel totally unnecessary.
Did mansplain really have to be a line this week ?.
When something is communicated to the audience beyond the 4th wall (like captions telling us where we are) they should not lie. Using the unreliable narrator only works if you've set things up for it.
Yaaas, I'm so glad Otis sees Adam as I do! I honestly don't understand why do people support him over Rahim. Rahim was sweet from the first moment and didn't have a single bad word towards Eric (or anyone else). Maybe Eric feels "special"(?) because the bully started to have feelings for him, but I 100% agree with Otis - Eric hid this fact and their sneak-outs because deep down he, too, knows that Adam is not a good person.
And how glad I am that he realized this and chose Rahim!
I saw that coming from Ola when she accidentally leaned a little close to Lily in the previous episode (or 2 episodes ago?). Though the way she handled things with Otis and Lily... eh, really not the best thing to do. Spontaneousness might have its advantages, but in this episode Ola showed us its downsides. Think before you act.
This show is so good and so shitty at the same time. When they start doing stuff it's awesome. But first they have to talk. Then talk about talking. Then they have to lie to each other. Then they have to leave the new Titans behind, again. What a sucky team they've made so far. Of course they always have to leave Rachael behind because she might just whip the bad guys.
It was a good episode.Even if they kind of telegraphed what was going to happen. Once I knew Aquadude was in the flashback I figured out what was likely to be his fate. It did take a few minutes before I realized he was Jason from PLL.
What I didn't like was the pace. Especially near the middle. I've also grown to really dislike when a show does something exciting then switches tracks the very next episode to something else, making the viewers wait another week to get back to what they really want to see. It's a cheap trick that to many shows use.
What a beautiful wonderful episode, I'm a sucker for romance and this episode handles it with perfection here. The cinematography is fantastic here also, it typically is with this show but it truly stands out in this episode. The bond between all the girls is great to see too, especially in that final scene. One of the best episodes of the show! 10/10 for me.
I bet Luther is a vampire too. He's just a different type than the other two types. One that remains dormant for some reason. One that's the rarest, strongest type out of the three, and he'll end up turning soon enough. Maybe in the finale, as a cliffhanger twist. And because Desmond is his son, that's why he's already looking healthy. He, too, is that type of vampire, whatever it is. That's what I think. Luther is the lead character in a show revolving around vampires and isn't a vampire himself. That alone practically makes it obvious he'll become one in the end, surely, right? It would be predictable, and that's why it has to happen.
Not the best writing. Story has holes and weird actions like the DNS soldiers failing hard in basic procedures. Kinda annoying. Just like blood nation taking out the warehouse guard and the assumption that nobody misses that guy (father, brother, son, husband,...?). Sure that's a save long term spot  the show started with potential but can't help but feel like it's slipping fast. I kinda want it to become better though :grimacing: still has potential
One of my biggest television pet peeves is when a character can explain a situation a trillion times better than they actually do - and they don’t. When they can very easily defend their actions, successfully and succinctly - and they don’t.
That was Hughie here. Frustrating to no end. Starlight doesn’t deserve you.
Rant over.
I thoroughly enjoyed that Spice Girls pep-talk, particularly since it was swiftly followed by their Wannabe hit.
