@zdistrict Why Capitalize Every First Letter Like A Title???
first 10 min already nothing like the books. What is so hard about following the books for once..

Following the books 100% is boring. If you want the books, read the books. Page-by-page remakes kills creativity for TV/film producers and it makes for a very boring project, that's why you never see 100% page-by-page adaptations. An adaptation works when the spirit of the source material is there, but it still feels fresh. Shot-for-shot remakes work as art projects like the Psycho remake, which was an artistic study and actually comes to the very same conclusion. It's way more interesting to explore the source material and use it in a new, creative way that keeps the material fresh. It's why Shakespeare has been fascinating people for over 400 years and why music by Bach and Beethoven is still being played. Shadowhunters is no exception.
Doesn't respect the history, and i believe that the american audience will think everything in the show did really happen, i doubt this show will succeed in Europe because it ends up insulting the people.

It doesn't run on the history channel, it runs on The CW -- home of magical, mythical, made up shows. It's more insulting that you would think we are so idiotic that we wouldn't be able to tell that it's SCRIPTED.
I like this show. I think it's pretty awesome that Steven Spielberg and Stephen King managed to pull off a second season. For everyone bitching about season 2, this was originaly a mini series. Not planned, written or prepared passed season 1. They were shocked it was renewed. I love this show and it had to eventually go somewhere. Although I do not like the killing Angie off... shoulda been big jim.

Why are you rating movies that haven't even been made yet?
loading replies
have you seen the date Sean posted the comment? it's 2014. so movie was in the progress that time. so it has nothing to do with you who voted after the release. It's about the people who rated the movie that wasn't made. And people do that often here.
The soundtrack was better than the film in my opinion. I was a little bit bored in some areas an... was it worth making Mockingjay into two parts I mean pulling a Twilight...
Acting was superb however props to Jennifer Lawrence for showing a different side to Katniss Everdeen and also to Josh Hutcherson's acting was flawless.
I'm basically just giving this a bitter score because I found the Mockingjay book just as boring compared to THG or CF.

Didn't Harry Potter turn its final book into 2 movies before Twilight?
Little note, far as I know Frankenweenie was only distributed by the Disney studio, not produced by them.

@lifeiscrazy The internet tells me it was produced by Disney. And I believe EVERYTHING that the internet tells me.
