Intriguing mini series. Tennant shows his top notch acting is more than just Doctor Who, and the other actors are decent as well.
Storywise pretty well written, but unfortunately not very ambitious. Still there are some interesting situations.
Why are you rating movies that haven't even been made yet?
This show used to be funny and it's also used to be one of my favorite TV shows (hence I initially rated this show a 10 on trakt). But starting from Season 7 the show has becoming redundant and it's going nowhere with its forgettable plots. This seems like the show is now more on the money rather on the quality.
I am so sad to say this but I won't continue watching this show.
It's hard to believe how well this was put together at times. I'd say the first 10 episodes are definitely the best, after that the story line has reached a point where it's less exciting. That doesn't mean the rest of it is bad though, not at all.
One thing that striked me is that there were often tensions moments when Light get's interrogated. Ever time when it seems like he's getting caught he comes up with another waterproof lie/alibi to trow off any suspicion. Which is what I meant by the first sentence.
I actually got a Death Note book as a gift after I finished the series :)
I'm 27 and I just saw this anime for the first time. In fact, it's the first anime I ever saw and I only watched it because a friend kept telling me how great it was. It had been sitting on my shelf for over two years and last night I figured: what the hell, let's try it.
This movie blew me away. It so perfectly captures the innocence and the exploratory nature of childhood. It enables you to view an ordinary day through the viewpoint of two ordinary young girls. It shows how boring we adults are, and how much fantasy, discovery, emotions and playfulness we have lost since we were kids. There's no macho behaviour, no bad guys, no evil to beat, just two kids growing up in a normal life, but extraordinarily presented.
A perfect coming-of-age movie and one of the most impressive movies I've ever seen. Already one of my all-time favourites. If the rest of Hayao Miyazaki's films are anything close to this, he will have a new lifelong fan.
The end of this episode was too real. Hit me in the feels.
People who find this movie patriotic obviously cant read the title...its called AMERICAN sniper...im from Europe and cant see why americans are so against this movie. Its a tribute to the man and all those who didn't make it out of various wars. I find this an amazing movie. Not the best picture I've seen from the Oscar movies but its so much more than that
This is such a wonderful movie. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie that went from being so funny to so sad but even it the saddest parts, it still finds a way to be funny. Everyone is great in this especially Kumail and Zoe. Their chemistry instantly makes us root for them to be together.
the first movie is slightly better but this one's still aca-awesome!
These people are just so frustratingly dense. Ok so they don't all know they're dealing with zombies. But even so. They still drive at 20mph as they rubberneck when guns are being fired. Looting and gunshots, I know let's shine our flashlights out the windows. Seriously?
Aaargh as if that's not bad enough. Let's wait until daylight when everyone will be jamming the roads so we can see that the roads are jammed.
This series is just going to wind me up, I know it.
Did NOT expect to enjoy this show as much as I did. Serious emotional punches thrown into what feels like one great dream. Art is astoundingly good, music is great, characters are relatable, plot is amazing, but seriously, did I mention the art?
If you're like me and have been wondering whether or not you should watch Madoka for a while now, trust me: you definitely, undoubtedly should.
Funny how people can hate somethig just because it is giving a brand publicity. Like, fuck yeah, apple products are awesome. And fuck yeah, the cast and writing of modern family is awesome too. If you hate something because you don't have it, sucks to be you points tongue
Alex is a bit of a badass isn't she? Damn. She went full Lara Croft on Jemm's sorry ass. (Coincidentally - the man playing Jemm, Charles Halford, actually has a role in the latest Tomb Raider game.)
This is the reason I don't accept many invitations to social gatherings. They may appear to be innocent but there is always an agenda by the welcoming host. This is a great thriller, lulls you in and then grabs you by the balls and squeezes until you cannot bear any more tension.
Despite what the most people think, this episode was great! So tense and now we finally know and it makes sense. I'm glad that CeCe didn't kill herself. P.S.: PLL's mothers are still the that basement :)
I have not laughed this hard... I think ever, of a stand up comedy. I was honestly laughing out loud and making weird noises at her punch lines. Thank goodness no one else was home.
Even though she's older than me, she is pretty relatable being an asian woman like myself. I really enjoy her drama and ways of exaggerating (and I'd like to say, as a feminist, even though she makes fun of feminism, she does it tastefully and very light so I don't find her jokes offensive. I loved it.)
To anyone who wants to see this, do not watch it with your parents. But watch it with your friends, it will be a laugh! :)
Studio Ghibli has a way of making you grow fond of a place or a house. The end was unexpected but it was heartwarming !
I loved the movie up until like 2 minutes before it ends. The fact that it was all a dream completely screws it up - I'd loved the epic ending of "I made a mistake".
Well, I just took a footstep into the world of Friends and I love it.
The movie doesn't just pull on your heartstrings, it wrenches them from you and squeezes you till you cry. It can be manipulative, but as somebody who has seen God's miracles up close, this has a great message for believers and non-believers alike.

Scary and weird!!
It started off great but has slowed to almost a complete halt. The book, as always, is so much better.
The greatest thing about this show it's that you'll never know what's coming next. That ending really surprised me, I don't know what was real or what wasn't, my mind just blown with so many questions
Yeah, whoever thinks comedy applies to this film must have a sick sense of humour :(
Great movie with some nice twists.
With this series, you'll know very quickly whether it's for you or not. It's a series primarily driven by one type of comedy, and that's lots and lots of sex jokes. Surprisingly, the actual content of the series isn't that explicit, just the dialogue. The jokes can be hit and miss but they're delivered at high speed so it doesn't really matter if a few fall flat.
The quality of animation is pretty high overall and makes for a pleasant watch.
The protagonist isn't the most charismatic lead in the world but he's also not a complete pushover and acts as the all-important straight man to the constant onslaught of the girls' dirty jokes.
Overall an enjoyable watch as long as you enjoy this kind of humour.
The cooking recipes shown in the ending sequence are more interesting than the actual show.
In the pilot, the show looked promising. unfortunately, the pilot is the only good episode of this horrible tv show.
