Will this series ever air? It is not listed on Syfy's schedule and they don't mention it premiering anywhere.
"Send the dothraki first since they are barbarians"
"Dragons are our heavy artillery let's keep them flying in circles without doing NOTHING for say 2/3 of the battle. Even if they all stop before a flaming trench and sit there nearly aligned for tenths of minutes. We can not win the easy way this must be EPIC"
"It's a massive invasion of Savage, quick and merciless undead but we like to walk orderly and calmly in libraries"
"By the way, libraries are still dead silent while people are being ripped to shreds outside"
"Hey, look, Arya slipped past 4.000 undead and learned Rey's air saber trick"
"Every major character gets to live even after being surrounded by dead. (jorah and theon were already half dead - oh yeah, theon, seems Arya waited in the shadows while you were impalled too. Go team.".
Why didn’t he shoot Beta in the head with the arrow instead of that girl that got turned?

Parallelism between Season 1 Episode 1 and Season 8 Episode 1
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
S08E01 Jon: "Where's Arya?" Sansa: "Lurking somewhere."Foreshadowing (from different Seasons/Episodes.)

S03E05“ “Let’s not go back. Let’s stay here a while longer,” Ygritte tells Jon. “I don’t ever want to leave this cave, Jon Snow.” S08E01 “We could stay a thousand years. No one would find us,” Daenerys says to Jon.02.
Sam is suggesting rebelling against the Targaryen because they burned his father and brother alive. Similar to when Robert's Rebellion, began when Rhaegar Targaryen, allegedly abducted Robert's betrothed, Lyanna Stark.
I'm beginning to think the writing team only had three good episodes in them. Getting predictable and drawn out.
Wow Stormfront...Classic Gretchen behaviour
It has a big emphasis on family drama. If you're into that you'll probably enjoy it, but honestly I think it doesn't come anywhere close to the likes of Expanse.
I'm happy for everybody who's enjoying this soft reboot so far, but personally, I just don't understand it.
This episode is a great example:
The writing is just as bad as previous seasons. So this is it for me, I really tried to get into TWD again.
Should we pretend this season never happened?
Honestly, I was scared the whole act she'd slip up out of nerves and reveal to all of Harlem about Shy being gay. But she didn't. She did amazing. And then, insecure, paranoid Shy kicks her out of the tour after all the times she was there for him when he needed it? What an ungrateful child. He was not a very good singer, anyways.
Filoni and Favreau have done it folks in my world. Let me have the shows and the kids can have the new movies. Good compromise.
This is an absolute failure on all fronts and the fact it is so highly rated disturbs me. Easily the worst episode of this show, and this has singlehandedly destroyed any remaining faith I had for the rest of this series. What a disgrace.
Henry has an unbelievable amount of thirstiness. I'm glad he was stupid enough to track them down alone. We might actually see some action now, especially from Carol.
Trish is getting kind of annoying.
Man, what a poor episode, lackluster after lackluster. If this is the culmination of the time and interest myself and others have invested into Game of Thrones all of these years, then it is truly unfortunate and disappointing if not almost bordering on an insult.
Such a shame that this will be the legacy of a series that once took the world by storm with its brilliant storytelling and exhilarating plot twists, hardly recognizable anymore when it parades around in a pathetic shell of its former self.
I can't say I'm excited nor even interested in the remaining episodes, at least not when this season has taught me time and again to lower my expectations as much as possible, but I hope they will at least respect what this series once was and offer a conclusion worthy of its story. sigh
I understand the need to set the characters and situation again after so long. Which what the first episode was all about and that's fine. But this episode while being touching feels like a horrible filler, thank God they spared us the flashbacks.
They made us wait for so long due to all the battle scenes, but I really hope they have more to show than that because it looks like they retired all the good writers. A whole scene for that lame song seriously?
After the whole 60min there was no surprise, no change that was not announced in the first episode. They managed to keep the story completely still for a whole 60min.
It really feels like during the previous seasons with maybe less budget they managed to be more interesting in the characters and the story.
Really disappointing and it worries me to see this kind of cheap tricks on a final season with six episodes.
Next episode better be really, really good.
This show is in grave danger of overusing that Blum character. He's so much over the top it's getting too much.
I cried. A lot. A LOT.
That ending was CRAZY! But these episodes are SO short. Remaining 3 episodes better be one hour at least each.
I cried my eyes out when deb died, remember when she tells him to kill her if she was in such state? right after Dex kills Camilla?
It's not a very satisfying ending but somewhat gives a closure to the series. No one likes loose ends lying around.
Personally I think it would be more great if Dex just died in the storm.
Astonishing performance. It’s a really good movie and worth watching if you are both a fan and a movie lover.
While the Whisperers are a cool idea, the more I think about them, the more they don't stand up to scrutiny. We've seen in previous seasons that to go undetected by the dead, people have to smuther themselves in guts thus implying the dead work on some sense of smell. The Whisperers don't do this, they merely pop on a dried out face of a dead person and somehow the actual dead are supposedly convinced the living person is a dead person. It's at the level of Superman hiding his identity by putting on a pair of specs.
Furthermore, I realise the show has been often criticised for lack of character development but, honestly, I couldn't give a shit about this Rosita/Gabe/Sadiq "love triangle with added baby". I think it does the greatest disservice to Rosita who, from what little previous development she's had over all these years, has always been a fiery character, so to see her potentially be made into some incredibly boring mother character is irritating.
I can only think of a handful of TV shows that have BLOWN ME AWAY like this every damn week.
Definitely the best TV show to premiere this year so far, and i'm so glad it was already renewed for a Season 2! I still feel like people are sleeping on Pose. Wake the hell up everybody! Great themes, great dialogues and show-stopping acting.
Give Dominique Jackson and MJ Rodriguez all the Emmys they deserve.

Very disappointing episode. Anyone saying it’s the best episode of this show is just caught up in the hype.
Visually, this episode was fantastic. And as a stand-alone episode, it was very good. But when you take this as an episode of Game of Thrones and think about everything that led to this, it’s undeniably disappointing.
Barely anyone died. Most of the characters had super thick plot armour. Lots of plot holes. Anti-climactic ending. I don’t mind that Arya killed the Night King. I also don’t mind how it happened. But for it to happen so soon... the army of the dead have been hyped up since season 1 as the true enemy, and we were told that they were the most dangerous army in the show. Yet all they accomplished was the deaths of a few side characters. It’s pathetic compared to the feats of other characters and armies in past seasons. The Night King should have taken Winterfell and killed at least a few main characters. The survivors should have them retreated somewhere and then beat the Night King in a later episode. The Night King and the army of the dead did not come across as very threatening by the end of this episode. They were unable to kill any main characters, and they were defeated in the first proper battle they took part in.
Very disappointing. My rating is only as high as it is because of the great visuals and the value of the episode as a stand-alone piece of television.
This is one of the best blockbusters ever. It has a ton of action, it is emotional and it makes you think. It's crazy how good the CGI is, you stop thinking about it because of how invested you get in Caesar's journey. Great supporting characters with Maurice and the new addition of Bad Ape. Woody Harrelson is fantastic as always. It will be interesting to see if Andy Serkis' name comes up for best actor next year at the Oscars. He definitely deserves some recognition for his performance.
I think its funny that nature has a ironic sense of humor. The disease that killed everyone is now turning the rest of the humans into a more primitive state. Caesar sparing the colonel was a very emotional moment. Showing he is a much more complicated character than just an ape on a revenge mission. This whole trilogy asks a lot of questions on what is humanity? A very emotional end to a great trilogy.
Spectacular conclusion to this amazing show... Can't put into words how much I've loved this season.
They know how to deliver on this show.
However, I am sad Lucca is gone.
