It's impressive how they'd get away with something like this back in 2005, whereas now the social media would most likely crucify them for it.
I am a first day Ozark watcher, this serie is definitely at the top 3 I have ever watched or tried to watch, crazy..
The best season yet, definitely one of the best Netflix Shows. Julia Garner and Laura Linney are exceptional.
Really surprised how quick the wedding happened. I never liked Zainab, her reasons not to hire Dennis and giving away his dog for money was kinda spoiled and elitist. But in the end, it appears that she was right, Ramy only brought trouble to a mosque and the people inside of it. Ramy just turned into BoJack Horseman. I think it was interesting to see that Ramy figures out he's the villain of his own show. I do love how this comes full circle when he goes back to Dennis' car where he listens to the CD describing what it means to be a Muslim.
Larry David is my social justice warrior.
A beautiful, beautiful episode that left me with a tear in my eye at the end. The idea of the good place actually getting boring is something that's crossed my mind before - eternal happiness might sound appealing to us, but if there's nothing to contrast it, we'd stop appreciating it real fast. Giving people a way to end their journey if they want is a great idea.
(Also I was asked about Hypatia in my philosophy exam last year and I passed, so thanks, Patty!)
Terry's facial hair absolutely ruled this episode! He did look like a drag queen, at some point. And, oh boy, was that creepy...
And it's always heartwarming to see Jake and Charles' friendship rising above everything else and pushing personal quarrels aside. Those two definitely deserved bigger caps.
WTF did I just watch ?
I get it, it has to be funny because of the transitions and randomness, but I don’t find this nonsense entertaining.
I had never watched the first season. This is going to be great!
Now quit parking in the crippled spot. What you got ain't a disability... Just poor fucking judgement.
I love the savage Ruth, she's hilarious.
What is that young buck doing with old crazy Darlene. It was utterly horrifying to watch and I am still feeling traumatized.
That's a lot of bad votes on here.
Well, I liked it. Family Guy has been incredibly mediocre for an extremely long time but far and in between there is an episode that actually tries something new. This is one of those. It breaks the all too familiar formula.
But when it drifted away into "you're all fake", well, that was unnecessary, though.
Other than that a good episode, poking fun at itself.
Lalo Salamanca is one of the greatest additions to the Breaking Bad universe, like - ever. Incredible season, can't wait for season 6 in... 2022? Sigh...
The last 10 to 15 minutes is the most gut wrenching, heart stopping, spine chilling minutes of TV I have EVER seen in my life.
Absolutely fucking incredible, I can't put this show into words. Fucking incredible. And the rest of the episode is no fucking joke either. The season finale is going to be absolutely horrific in the best way possible.
2018 was a busy year for me, I watched the first episode of season 4 when it aired but didn't have the time to continue on. I kept forgetting to jump back into the show. Due to the pandemic, I've been quarantined for the last week and a half and caught up to tonight's episode (16 episodes watched in a week - I love this show!) I picked a damn good time to catch up, this is easily one of my all-time favorite episodes of Better Call Saul.
I knew I was in for a good one when I saw that Vince Gilligan was directing, and the writer of this episode (Gordon Smith) has really shown that he has chops. Every scene with Mike and Jimmy in the desert was just absolute gold, plain and simple. I am very sad that the most iconic 4-cylinder 95hp vehicle in modern entertainment is gone (R.I.P. Suzuki Esteem).
So excited to see what the rest of this season holds.
I was more scared of Jimmy somehow losing the 7 mill than I was of him being shot in the shootout or frying to death in the sun.
Also, as a sidenote, I've heard Kim compared with Skyler and I gotta say I find Kim much more likable. Just as I find Jimmy much more likable than Walter White. And that adds to my enjoyment of the show. I feel for Jimmy in a way I didn't with Walter.
oh!!! omg i didn't see this coming
Once again I wish that this series would have been (or can afford to be?) only about Jimmy/Kim now. It’s the only plotline that gains sweeping breadth from the meticulously detailed storytelling and measured pacing, whereas other stories only take flight for me when they intersect with the main one, and otherwise are often only solid, or even at times drags along rather than digs deeper (as Mike’s this week does). I’ve longed to join the “better than Breaking Bad” crowd for some years now because the way Jimmy/Kim’s story is carefully plotted out and artfully told feels so unique in TV landscape and can definitely transcend BB. But it shares space in the series with other more BB-beholden ones that really should have the pulpier storytelling like BB, so I can’t commit to that notion.
I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them. - Andy
Isn't that what we all wanna know? :(
PS: The Office - One of the best TV Series finale I have ever seen. So many emotions. Cried a lot. Will miss each and every person in the series. So much love for this show! <3
Ohhh mann....what an episode!!!!!
When that guy pull out the knife I gasped, perfectly knowing that Mike's life was not in danger. That's a good show.
I really hate how they try to get this sound guy in the middle of Jim and Pam's relationship. I mean, how am I supposed to believe that a guy that handsome has being around the office for almost nine years without a single person (not even Meredith) telling anything about his looks, and that suddenly he and his wife have been friends with Jim and Pam all along? I'm sorry but it just doesn't make any sense.
I was shocked when Hank and Gomez popped up. Was it even announced?
pam and jim arguing and then pam crying oh gOD MY HEART HURTS
"... my appearance is designed to be familiar and put you at ease." I cried.
The :snake: civilisation story was perfect. Didn’t care about Jerry’s side story at all. But who does, right?
