Took them long enough to confirm that it has been cancelled, but yeah, it is no more. Fuck this. :(
I LOVED this show so much, oh man...
Nice start, FX is really shaping up well these days. :)
Well my positive impression after the first episode(s) didn't last, now it just feels like a big stinking pile of shtako.
That... was actually pretty cool. Like the idea behind it, great diverse and damaged cast of characters and pretty well made. You know, NBC always gets shit for having abysmal ratings and what not but they actually TRY to do something new and "original" once in a while. (Looking forward to the Blacklist, not to mention that they STILL have Community running, Parks and Recreation and the bombshell that is Hannibal which they even gave a chance for a second season despite the awful ratings) And what do they get for that? Yeah, shit ratings. It's a shame, really. What is wrong with you Americans?
But oh well, since this is done mostly in Europe, maybe the production costs are lower than usual and helps this run longer than one might expect on NBC, I sure hope so going only by the first two episodes. Good show so far, I'll be coming back for more!
It's really not a good sign when I fall semi asleep while watching an action movie. o_O
Sure, there was a whole lot of damage done, esp. in the car chase but beside that it was so ridiculously stupid, riddled with bad plot and story points and overall just a pretty bad movie.
Hands down the worst of the Die Hard franchise.
Wait, am I getting that right? That one season plays in that one night in that one bar?
Consider me excited.
Even tho the "from the writers of the Hangover" part got me less excited, still, they had a few laughs esp. in the first movie.
Looking forward to this and here is a trailer for everyone else: http://www.kaltura.com/index.php/extwidget/openGraph/wid/0_vxbn8p7e
Wow, this looks absolutely awesome.
But WHY oh WHY is it on NBC of all channels... I hope they get word of mouth going and do some good promotion for this since it looks very promising and it would be a damn shame if it was cancelled after one season like every other show on that channel. :<
Check out the trailer: http://youtu.be/k9_qgX7pTlc
And it even got a second season, who would've thought with all the hate it sparked.
Well fuck, this has been a shitty day, so many cancellations today... this as well. :/
I enjoyed the setting, the grittiness and how decent it was acted... sucks.
Aw, this honestly sucks. Was my favourite new comedy of 2012/2013's season and it just got axed. That is very unfortunate, I had a lot of fun watching this. :(
Haha, what a silly movie. But honestly? I felt pretty entertained. Some really nice and mindless action which made me laugh out loud a few times. As said by others before, nothing you'd watch again but if you like action movies, nothing you would turn off half way through the movie either.
That said, I love Kim Jee-woon's Korean movies and this certainly was not up to his usual high standards, but I guess he made the best out of rather crappy material to begin with and his hand certainly shows. Arnie was fun as the old law man but it gets old rather quickly.
Lets see what Kim Jee-woon and also Arnie deliver next.
Bad news everyone!
With the end of season 7 it will be cancelled. Again.
Lets see if its "for good" this time, the current season hasn't been the best to begin with... but I have hope that they at least go out with a bang. :)
Not as bad as one might have expected! Sure, it's campy, silly and a lot of the CGI looks cheap but well - it's fun so far! What more can you ask for? ;)
Luckily the CW just took the decision out of my hands to decide if I should continue watching this or not, since they apparently just cancelled it. Thanks CW!
Haha what is this nonsense here with everyone talking about plot-holes and bad writing, just because the writers DELIBERATELY didn't tell us in the first few episodes WHY the power went out? It's because almost noone in the world there KNOWS why it went out in the first place that we don't get informed about this, they build up the plot around this, reveal it just over time like they are doing right now.
Did ppl say back then when LOST aired that its an idiotic show because they didn't tell us in the first few episodes why the god damn plane crashed?
Oh well, its not a perfect show by any means but I really don't understand some ppl here, bashing the show because they didn't reveal all of the plot in the first few episodes. It makes sense that there is no power in the world with how they tried to explain it now, if you like that explanation or not - that's with what they go. But I'm sure most of the naysayers stopped watching this show a long time ago...
Carries on-and-off-again relationship bullshit with Sebastian is annoying me so much regarding this show, god damn it. I sincerely hope they will have less of that crap next season (I think the current one is over?) since it really makes me dislike this show a lot.
But yeah, still good soundtrack.
Oh and it got picked up for a second season in case anyone missed that!
Intense Pilot and the look at what's to come certainly was interesting as well!
I like what I've seen so far so keep it coming. :)
Absolutely brilliant. It's a shame that it took me that long to start it but I catched up rather quickly I guess. Either way, I love me my Adventure Time's and Bob's Burger's but this really beats it all hands down.
Such a fun, sarcastic, fucked up and wicked show, lovin' it!
Not worse than the original but just as bad.
Welp, after 7 episodes: pretty solid.
I'm not a huge fan of medical shows except they have something "new" to offer so the premise sure was interesting. While there was nothing really ground-breaking so far, episode 7 put me over the edge tho. Damn fine episode for a pretty good show with an incredible versatile and likeable cast.
Srsly, what a damn fine show and it just keeps getting better and better, can't praise it high enough.
The clash of the fundamental beliefs, Christianity vs. Paganism is one of the best things about this show. It also feels so well researched and developed, that's just a great part of having a "history network" behind it. Just amazing and I think it's one of the best new shows of season 2012/2013.
Highly recommended!
For the love of god, can they please get a technology consultant or if they even have one already, fire him and get a GOOD one?
"OMG I FOUND AN IP ADDRESS IN THE CODE! - NOW WE KNOW WHERE THE DISC WAS BURNED!!!!! O_O"
WTF... this and other nonsense like that rubs me all the wrong way and really puts me off. Hope they can get more interesting beside that as well, its not the greatest show by any measure.
I never imagined watching a History Channel show after all the ancient aliens and similar nonsense... but jep, this is indeed pretty good so far. Realistic and high quality look and well, history and stuff!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand cancelled. WTF. Why do they even greenlight and produce such shows in the first place... getting my hopes up and then the usual bullshit. Goddammit. (not that it was THAT good to begin with but what the hell)
Hm, didn't know what to expect from this one but honestly the pilot was kinda cool.
Certainly suspenseful and set a nice premise for an interesting show to come, even tho it certainly had it's flaws.
But yeah, too bad that shows like this, that go a different way, usually don't make it even through their first season...
Fantastic! Enjoyed every minute of it. Great characters, perfect voice cast, beautiful and oh-so-colorful visuals and least but not least a nice soundtrack. Yay. (and wow, to hear AKB48 in the movie and outro, amazing)
Wow, season 2 is starting to get really good, esp. thanks to Episode 3.
I love how it starts to all come together and they slowly draw the bigger picture.
Too bad it might very well turn out to be the last season if ratings continue to drop like that... FOX really made some stupid decisions with waiting so long to bring it back AND move it to a Friday timeslot. What were they thinking?!
So after 4 episodes: pretty shitty.
