"Less bullshit more actions"
And this, folks, is why we can't have clever writing. Sorry you had to endure 3 episodes of plot building and exposition, aka "bullshit". Now laser off someone's dick again before Anik23 gets bored.
It's series like these that makes me wonder, DID THEY AIM TO MAKE IT HORRIBLE OR WAS IT AN ACCIDENT? Where to start? Aweful casting appearance wise. Those are the faces of unpaid extras not protagonists. Not to mention acting irself is a foreign concept. It seems like they are in a school play for extra credit. It's goofy, awkward and uncomfortable. Too many characters, non of them remotely interesting. I couldn't care less if they found the treasure or be eaten bu sharks. Especially that chuby pirate lady seems like she's in a hurry to go eat. I wonder, who's her father that got her that role. ZERO TALENT! The obligatory woke bullshit is there obviously, but that's not even the worst thing.
I had zero expectations cuz let's face it Netflix is long dead but this was exceptionally abysmal. I just hope ppl didn't pay to see it. RATE 2/10loading replies
Just curious, where exactly was the "woke" bs you mentioned and why would you think that Netflix is dead when it absolutely dominates the streaming charts?

If you ever wanted a Scott Pilgrim show with barely any Scott Pilgrim in it, then this one’s for you!

@kvadam I didn't watch the movie cause of how cringe Scott was, and I enjoyed this because of his lack of appearance.

that is actually exactly what i want tbh this is helpful info
@koozzy No, the show's satire and politics were always apparent and clear since S1
It has lost its edge tho because the world's gone crazier but that's about it.
Actual problem is the cliffhangers, and edging it into each new season. S5 tho, fill finally be proper conclusion hopefully

Eric Kripke, a scumbag, has responded to the criticism of the latest season with "go watch something else" and this is the only thing I'll agree with him...

@rexton I agree with you, this season has been (not as good) so far. but itsays here you havent wacthed it, so f off ya c*nt :joy:
Thanks for reminding me again why I hate children. What a moron she is.
loading replies
@eiduren well, we've all been children at some point :) Just sayin'
She's certainly a complicated character though :o
I am a bit on the fence about the episode, I still love the animation but I am not convinced by the new characters from the posh district, their adventures seem to be a bit boring in comparison to the sisters from the underground. The ending is a bit of a cliffhanger for non-player viewers as it seems that Vander decided to give the sisters up to the enforcers to protect the peace between districts?
loading replies
@ladysherlockian Vander was surprised to see Powder sad, so I'm pretty sure it was Vi's idea to give herself up in order to protect her sister
Dune Part 2 is visually spectacular. The picture is stunning. Ignoring the worn-out tropes, the problem with the film is the lack of emotional attachment to characters. The scope is too big for its runtime which leads to underdeveloped players. The movie is so impressive, yet hollow.

Enid is the only character in the show Wednesday has any real romantic chemistry with. Enid's measures taken to celebrate Wednesday's birthday and Wednesday's courtesy when declining to wear the scarf hat thing solidified that for me. Wednesday's nixie tube clock is so awesome. Does anyone know what song the music box played?

@laaayza Why not? It makes sense
Terrible RENDITION. Custom design, CGI, acting, all awful.

Buffy drives me insane in this episode.

I always attribute this to PTSD. She DIED. Then they all went to the club like no problem. Even if it was her idea it’s called a delayed response. She can’t process with the people who know because they were involved and it’s not like she can talk to a therapist. This is what I LOVE about the show. Imagine how you might respond. Great writing here.
No reason to evacuate the school because there was a dead body found in the locker.
loading replies
Just leave the body unattended and unguarded, that makes sense. No need to call the coroner or anything. A boy's corpse found in the girls' locker room is definitely not potential evidence in a criminal investigation.

GO WOKE GO BROKE. no season 5 ... CUT OFF AT SEASON 2 that way you will not get upset by the shite to follow
loading replies
@crazymazey I'm curious, what did you find objectionable or "woke" about Season 4? The mere existence of woman protagonists? The indigenous characters? Gay characters? If so, that's more your problem than the show's.
For the record, I didn't like the season either. I found it kind of boring with sloppy writing that tried too hard to capitalize off the nostalgia of S1. But the problems with the season lie in the quality of the writing, not the right-wing boogeyman of "wokeness", or being socially conscious (which is an objectively good thing by the way).

@barghest Especially seeing Mikasa visiting the grave with her husband, then a kid, then as old grandma.

Also, it's always so disappointing to see girls who love girls settling down with some boring @ss mf..ker to breed.. Yes, I'm talking about you, Historia. :(
It's the manga ending fleshed out a bit, plus two-ish additional scene right at the end and some adjustments. I doesn't change the ending (aside from Armin's admission), it just highlights it more. People will be discussing this again, just like after the manga ended. Let's see where this is going.
I, for once, found the last two episodes powerful. It's as far as I'm concerned a logical conclusion. Or at least I have no idea where the story could have realistically gone otherwise. Would I have liked it to end another way? Yes, definitely! But in the end I respect a conclusive ending more than a magically appearing good feeling ending.loading replies
@slyazx Yes, their didn't changed the ending, thankfully. Just made it less vague in breaking down of, mostly Eren's actions.
oh, yeah, I remember people complaining that we got happy ending at the end. Even with 80% and Yeagerists in the manga preparing for the next world war. Despite readers having a piece of info from Eren saying that it's gonna fail in the end. And than extra pages came out lol
I don't quite understand what it changed for some people. That was unwinnable situation with no happy ending in the end, besides people we know, mostly, living to see another day. And extra pages didn't change that, I think. How it could be accused of being a happy ending, I doubt I will ever understand.
I'm looking forward to anime-onlys reactions and thoughts.
My perfect ending didn't happen, but it would have been extremely visually boring one. Where global rumbling doesn't happened, hatred doesn't stop, titans didn't disappeared even for a bit, Eren's dies archiving nothing not much changes here and world just lives in constant state of 5 minutes to midnight on Doomsday Clock. Realism:rainbow:
Overrated and overhyped. I expected a lot better animation since this was from MAPPA Studios. Most of characters are bland too with Power's being an exception. 12 episodes were enough and I'm not looking forward to a sequel.

I'm always amazed that the anti woke people don't realise The Boys is making fun of them

@neohexane Or the fact the series has always been woke to begin with but they only like to talk about when people die or the characters say something edgy.
couldn't get into it. it's a web series that feels amateurish at best.

@neilquan Cause it was amateurish when it started. The quality of animation gets better by the season.

Why is Scott Pilgrim barely in the show?
loading replies
It is because he took off.
The hook of waiting to see Homelander get what he deserves is getting old. And he never will because then the show is over.
Is any part of this story even enjoyable anymore? Or is it just a repetitive, masochistic tease?
Am I really supposed to keep watching just to see super-edgy gore and sex? That's lazy.
loading replies
@liqidclark everything about this show is enjoyable, and only getting more so with each new season. It's a scathing satire, riotously funny, and very well acted.
Personally, the hook is watching Starr's gloriously unhinged performance as Homelander, not waiting for him to "get what he deserves".
You must be fun to watch TV with though. "The hook of waiting to see Walter White/Tony Soprano/Don Draper get what he deserves is getting old..."
Great episode, I hope that the Boys get permanent powers eventually, like in the comics.
