This singular episode, which I initially didn’t think I would like in the beginning, became more incredible than entire movies. It was beautiful, poetic and entirely self encapsulated in a tiny little world where people can still pick out their little slice of happiness.
To all those who hated the episode, replace bill with a female in your head if you have to, but open your eyes to why this story was so fulfilling and poetic in a world filled with meaningless death and endless suffering.
Now this was an episode worth seeing the series for. Certainly different from the general tone that the series has had so far, but a worthwhile excursion from it.
Okay, I have to concur here. That was an absolutely beautiful ending to this series. And man am I a sucker for these perfect Tsundere arcs.
This episode hurt so much. I couldn't stop crying. Nagisa just couldn't die in my mind, but she did it anyways.
Now THIS, was a a hell of a Steins;Gate episode. This is what we came for
Sometimes a show can make you realize, you weren’t just supposed to be skipping along and watching each episode as they come. You were supposed to take a minute, and enjoy the side quests. We aren’t supposed to watch a tv show for the destination.
The Chika dance has saved my soul.
I'm just here to say that I got to see Eri smile. That is all.
I have an idea for a new augmented reality filter: turn life into a Shojo Manga
I'm going to make millions $$$
"Time is cruel" - Okabe
Words have never before been truer.
This prologue episode is a must, the plot setup, sword-fighting and animation is just too good to pass up.
"For real? This is happening in modern day Tokyo?!" I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment.
Yup, that's definitely the way Cinderella was meant to be.
The sexual innuendo humor is top notch.
A fitting end to the series with every major arc come to a close. Could it have been better? Yes, almost definitely. But it still lived up to the standards that Fairy Tail has always gone with.
It was very unique to see such a different ending where almost every other character but Tomoya and Tomoyo completely disappeared from the picture. It may not have been the official story-line, but I think it was wonderful that they explored it here. (Although the academic and delinquent love story feels a tad cliché these days.)
Now let's talk about 5 Centimeters Per Second (warning: spoilers ahead). This episode felt just like the happy version of that film's ending. Instead of the melancholic concept of moving on from your past lover, they decided to stay together after all. The two stories don't match up entirely, but the resemblance is startling. Right down to the final scene being at the railroad tracks and the theme of cherry trees throughout. At this point, I'm fairly certain that the writer decided to pay homage to Makato Shinkai's film since it released about a year before this episode. I would recommend you watch that film (it was really worthwhile) so you can enjoy this episode to its fullest.
This episode has confirmed that this series is actually along the lines of a rom-com, I really wasn't sure so far. I wouldn't recommend skipping this even though it is considered a special and doesn't really further the plot.
An interesting little precursor episode to the movie. You can find the movie that this episode alludes to here: https://trakt.tv/movies/k-on-the-movie-2011
Funny little side plot episode. A little creepier than expected...
I find it interesting that this qualified as the "good" ending to the story. Keep in mind, it's not really a full episode, just 10-ish minutes. But to be honest Saber just didn't mean nearly as much to me. In this particular route, I saw her more as a temporary figure towards Shiro and that her disappearance was just about guaranteed anyways. She was never quite as developed in this series either. It was still a nice little optional twist to the ending.
Compared to the other OVA from Season 1, this didn't seem nearly as important to the story and honestly felt a little disjointed.
Worthless recap episode. What a let down
Really weird episode filled with a bunch of Chandler and Joey flashbacks. The entire contents of the episode is literally in the two-sentence description.
So this is essentially their logic of how all the "clover clips" are canon in the story. It was all just a fever dream of Charmy on magical mushrooms. So it's essentially an entire episode of funny/stupid skits that usually appear at the end of the episodes. There aren't any actually useful details that add to the overall story, so if you have already seen most of the clover clips, it's not really even worth anything,
Wow that was bad. This episode is the culmination of “Oh no! We only have the budget for 2 more episodes! Let’s see how much plot we can forcibly shove down the viewers throat in 5 minutes”
Another 90% filler/recap episode. The only new content occurs in the last 6 minutes. This is really starting to get annoying when 20% of this show is recap.
Misa: "I would never dream about living in a world without Light!"
L: "Yes that would be dark."
I knew that was going to happen at some point
Spy x Family new sports Anime spin-off when? That was some phenomenal sports anime work. I could watch that stuff for hours
"I'm gonna survive this, even if it kills me!"
That's not how that works, that's not how any of this works.
