Hahahahha love the ending pictures:joy:
this isnt the first time ive asked this when watching this show: what the fuck did i just watch?
It's very hard to follow at this point, and I'm very disappointed that we have come to this after an amazing first couple of seasons!
This made me so angry and annoyed. I can’t believe the complete lack of imagination of the writers, they made a pretty cool new world to play around and we got this?????
I’m not totally sure what’s going on, but I got to see Tessa Thompson literally sit on people as a chair, so I’m happy.
I remember when Westworld was exciting and interesting.... let's hope Maeve brings back some of that excitement ...
I can't be the only one glad to see Darlene is dead, right? R.I.P Wyatt though.
I don't get what happened! one second Rhaenyra stood with Daemon ... the next, Daemon disappears and we see Criston beating the hell out of that other guy ( what's his name ?) ....
Where the hell did Daemon go? I demand an explanation.
In Game of Thrones, if there's a wedding something will definitely go wrong. inevitable stuff. great episode. probably the best.
The twist caught me off guard , some brutal kills , a fine prequel to know more about Esther
“I’m 17 no I’ve never seen die hard” that is a ridiculous statement I’m pretty sure even 17 year olds have seen die hard, my family watch it every Christmas
Overall I liked the episode (Wong!) but gotta say the 4th wall breaks felt incredibly forced. They were neither funny nor clever and the weak ending didn't help either. 6/10.
This nonsense needs to stop.
I hated the stupid children in TWD, now they made a whole series with children:joy:. Please don’t waste your time on this one. Deleted it immediately
I disagree with other comments that the pacing of this episode is slow. I didn't notice it any slower than any GOT episode. Every episode doesn't need war or intensity to be satisfying. A good show needs character building to set up further story.
This is what made GOT so great in the earlier seasons. The nuanced characters, rich dialogue, and complex politics. You can feel all of the chess pieces being set up and the game starting to be played. I’m absolutely loving this so far. And those opening credits with the original GOT theme has me feeling some type of way.
This movie goes back to basics and really recaptures the classic spirit of man (or woman in this case) vs Predator.
Amber does a great turn as Naru, a Comanche trying to show that she CAN hunt and ends up in a battle against the almighty predator. The evolution of the story is a well paced and the combat encounters are well planned and satisfying.
Aesthetically the predator is a more raw tribal type than we've seen before but is well put out.
There's a few CGI moments that could have done with a little longer is post but on the whole it's pretty good.
Fun, exciting and a classic Predator tale without all the fluff, much better than what we've seen in recent years.
Also the addition of a dog companion is fun :-) Although we are in a world where every movie likes to show strong women I think this movie framed it very well and the Comanche and time frame were a great choice.
8/10
If I torture myself through one episode every two or three weeks, I might be able to finish this until the end of the year.. God, this show became so incredibly boring. I really hope, this won't be continued anymore, I hate leaving shows I started unwatched but this might be the first time I have to do exactly that if they decide to produce more parts.. Baby Elfo was the best thing in this episode and that was one minute of the episode.
It has been 4 seasons and I still have no idea what the f*** this show is about.
If you take the most obnoxious, self involved, dumb party girl and put her in a TV show, you'd have this. It's just one long story of her whining and doing the absolute dumbest things humanly possible. The ongoing and pointless dialog with an imaginary dead man feels like a filler and doesn't add anything to the story whatsoever.
2 episodes in and I'm ditching this
It is like the writers have no idea what to do anymore. The plots and the dialogues make no sense. I was confused by the conversation between Eda and Serkan in the first scene at his house, I felt like I missed something?! Anyway there were many more weak points like are we to believe that the grandmother who has been investigating the Bolat family wouldn’t recognize Aydan? Or that Ayfer would be so weak against her mother who she’s been distant from all these years? Suddenly she comes and lives in their house and they have to manage their lives according to her and justify their actions? And it is like small insignificant things, like she demands Ayfer to call and ask about Eda and Ayfer has to make a stupid video call and then the grandma demands to see who is under the covers? Like WTH IS THIS NONSENSE SCRIPT?? I am not even gonna comment on the whole Balca thing…
All that aside, Aydan is hilarious! That actress kills me :joy::joy::joy:
The introduction of Balca's character and the lack of its establishment and depth is so ridiculous. I mean, at least build up the character well before giving it the lame old cliché plot...
What is the point in these ships even having weapons systems? The star destroyer couldn't even shoot a super basic defenceless ship out of the sky! It has been utterly infuriating watching the action sequences in this show.
"I will do what I must" made me cringe. It was like bad fan fiction. The fight wasn't great, though it was definitely better than the fight back in episode 3 of the show.
Reva might just be the most pathetic force user of all time. How the hell did a couple of random farmers hold their own against her? Again, the action in this show has been consistently dreadful - just straight-up bad decisions by the writing team, and laughably poor choreography. Also, she literally just took a lightsaber to the gut hours ago and was left for dead, yet now she suddenly appears absolutely fine walking around on Tattoine? WHAT IS THIS SHOW?
Glad we got the Qui-Gon cameo at the end though.
Mhmhm, does anybody actually like Lea? If so, why?
I'm kinda bored of the last 2-3 seasons, probably time to say goodbye.
NGL so parts of this I thought was filmed with a real camera. There is still some uncanny valley there, but this was very very good.
Honestly this was really confusing and overwhelming at first but the more I look into and think about it and it's themes the more I love this episode.
The combination of extreme realism and violent digital cinematography makes this an otherworldly unsettling experience unlike anything else. I am amazed and disturbed.
I'm neither a girl, nor teenager or Asian and I still enjoyed it. Imagine only watching movies you identify with facepalm
