Loved it... can't wait till the next episode. Specially when the dude stabbed the girl... these days most shows tend to romanticize everything so I'm glad they didn't hook those up ♀️
Great minds think alike. I should have checked the reddit comments before spending the time to make this list myself. Thanks for creating all of these great lists on your account. I will definitely be using some of them moving forward on my quest to watch all of the things.
Pretty fun movie with some cool effects :)
Good for what it is. A bit amateurish at times concerning directing and acting, but the music was good (Shooting Guns), the idea was fun and overall the production value was above average for a low budget film.
This is a very interesting movie. Since it was shot on an iPhone it has such a unique look. It was a little distracting at first but I ended up really enjoyed the cinematography. The constraints of using an iPhone made for some beautiful shots. The score was good. Claire Foy is pretty great and so is Jay Pharoah. I wish he had more screen time, those two had good chemistry.
The center mystery of if Sawyer is actually crazy or not was done well. I was never sure if I could trust what we were seeing. Even when David was in the solitary confinement room I still wasn't sure if it was actually him or in her head. Then more bodies started to show up and realized it really was him. That's when I was starting to get worried about her. The ending was kinda sad, she will be forever haunted. Oh and why does Matt Damon just show up for a surprise cameo.
Does a good job having you question whether what you are seeing is the result of a child's imagination or whether it's his parents and the secrets they hide that are the cause. Mayne he's crazy? I really liked this aspect because all children are protected from an adult world, so all parents do have secrets. What if that simple boundary of privacy is twisted? If a child get wind of this adult world and even fed paranoia from a friend then the imagination and explorative child nature can taka hold. Thats the drive. Exploration.
The movie starts off more with more humour and progresses into a horror. The humour is dark and uncomfortable. I liked it. The horror was suggestive and creepy. The movie felt like an excellent short story. It never got boring and even picked up 30 minutes from the end, so it was paced well. I liked the ending because it was earlier suggested that the cannibal secret was a family thing (us and them) and with that in mind grandparents may actually be serving human flesh. Or is it my imagination?
This is a fun "turn your brain off" movie. Plenty of jokes, decent action, and all around great performances. Jack Black really being the standout with the gender swap. Some nice call backs to the original without making it necessary to have seen that. There is enough here that everybody should have a good time watching this.
Used this film to bring in the new year and what a great idea that was. James Franco deserves every single nomination that he's getting from playing Tommy and the film is excellently put together, although the section at the end lasted a bit longer than I would have liked.
Anyway, how's your sex life?
I experienced I liked some of the Marvel movies less when I watched them a second time. Not his one, though.
Clearly a step up from Thor: The Dark World. Action is really good so is CGI but this also has a good plot. Not that it is very original - I mean conspiracies and evil that wants to take over the world are as old as cinema itself. But here it is something you can actually see happen. What is said in the movie that you can´t take away freedom it needs to be given away (not the excat line but the meaning is the same) seems to become truer every day. Even outside the MCU it makes sense. Not with an Organisation like Hydra but actually with real governments.
Haha that was great, laughed a lot and certainly am looking forward to the next episode and hope they can keep that quality up!
Totally unpredictable and absolutely brilliant. Can't recommend this one highly enough.
This show is legit amazing. I love it. I even like the songs, although I'm not a big fan of rap so I wouldn't be able to tell if they are terrible or not. Whatevs, I like them.
This quickly became one of my fav shows. Got to love its humor!
The first half was good. It made sense. Slow, but the cinematography worked fell its favour. It had a feeling of mystery. The second half (marked by the first erection) was when it turned into an incoherent wannabe shock fest. Still, it looked great and I liked the music. Overall, some of the dialogue was interesting, but sometimes it pushed too far into the unrelatable or cryptic. I wanted way more actual plot in this movie. There were way too many unanswered questions in this movie, and they could have been interesting to resolve. If the description of the movie hadn't told us the setting, how would we even know? I've read negative reviews about it being artsy and pretentious. I think it is. However, it's probably one of the better artsy and pretentious movies. I actually finished it. I laughed a few times at the ridiculousness of it, when it wanted to be serious. The problem with movies trying to explore the darker places of human nature is that they can end up being a cliché weird sex movie. That is nothing new.
Quirky. Had some good laughs. Definitely worth the watch.
Decent opening episode, I think Jordan will come into this role very well in the coming episodes.
Even better than its predecessor! The Las Vegas ladies are a little more nuanced than their Orlandian counterparts, but still have that surreal, satirical bite that these shows try to exude. Can't wait for next season!
scary. real horror. good story. but end is little bit stupid for me sorry not sorry 7 stars.
This season was really poor. Hope they do a fitting finale at least, since this show was pretty good overall.
Best episode so far this season.
Love you and your diamond pussy, Natasha! You're a freakin' angel. This comedy special is genius, 10/10 would recommend.
