Mind f* and retro-modern techno wierd. Exactly how I like it
So far I watched countless episodes and series. Never watched something more than once. Except Rick and Morty... Starting my third rewatch right now :D, it is that good! But I can imagine it is not for everyone ;).
Just watched the pilot and I gotta be honest, this is the best pilot of any serie I have ever watched. Can't wait for future episodes.
Worth checking out if you liked shows like Pushing Daisies or Dead Like Me. Kristen Bell is great in this too. So good at playing a bitch lol. Yet she's a likeable one.
So good. Lough out loud funny as hell and incredibly sad and heartbreaking at the same time. The whole magnificent bittersweet package.
Social experimentation... Humans like rats in a maze... Evil corporation bent on world domination (maybe)... Mmm, pizza! Me likey!
After watching this, it's hard for me to think anyone could believe there was "evidence beyond reasonable doubt". There were SO many mistakes, questions, contradictions, and procedural misconducts which cast doubts on the State's case.
This just keeps on getting better and better.
The producers really struck gold with this one. One of the craziest stories with some of the most batshit insane people you have ever seen. I mean seriously, if this was a scripted show I would stop watching because the characters are too fucking crazy and unbelievable. But this is actually real. What The Actual Fuck.
Dr. Who crossed with Ren and Stimpy. This is the best and my overall favorite show now. I love how they parody the greatest shows of all time, like when they redone a Stargate SG-1 episode. I agree with @novulon I can rewatch these episodes multiple times, and still get Swifty.
The people who are hating on this don't understand it's parody, right? Cause it's so obviously ridiculous from the beginning, I almost choked laughing a couple of times.
Hooooooooooow is this show not more popular? Why did I have to find out about it by chance? So far, 3 episodes in, it's fantastic fun and pretty well animated. The fact that the plot spans over the whole first season or even whole show makes it all the more interesting, love those Babylon 5 esque space operas! ;)
No, but really, good stuff and I sincerely hope that enough ppl watch it so that we get more than one season at least.
So far so good - pretty fun show. Coach Lasso is such a positive character, the show put me in a good mood pretty easily. Love Jason Sudeikis of course
Edit after finishing the first season: Fantastic show all around, I looked forward to it every week. Coach Lasso dealing with his struggles as he brings together the team makes for an interesting and entertaining story
no no no its nothing like Girls whatsoever girls is bad !!! this show is much much much better and genuinely funny the writing is so witty & hilarious and the cast is brilliant totally recommended
“Amazon Prime making Stranger Things, but different enough to avoid a lawsuit.”
It’s actually based on a comic series. I have read a little bit of it and it’s not Stranger Things.
Only three episodes in and it's already my favorite American animated series. Robert Kirkman is a genius. I absolutely LOVED the comic book series. Can't wait to see what subtle changes this has in store. Lets Go!!
Absolutely love this show. Oliver does a great job at really making you think at the very important issues that just constantly get swept under the rug. Highly recommend this show.
Besides having really gorgeous, mind-bending rotoscoped animation, this show doesn't shy away from some important themes such as mental illness, death, relationship problems and more. It reminds me of "A Scanner Darkly" and "Waking Life" (2001), mostly due to the art style, but they have other similarities as well. You should expect some time travel elements, although they're not as complicated as, say, those in Netflix's "Dark". That might change in the next season though, if we're ever getting one.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is (not) “that anime”… (not) about robots/monsters/etc… (not) an entertainment… it’s more than that—it’s a work of art… Evangelion is about human… human relationship, life… truth.
Do (not) try to understand it… feel it.
Images, sounds (and music), time… sets the moods.
How to watch (the original) Evangelion: “Angel Attack” (1) – “Take care of yourself.” (26) ➝ “He was aware that he was still a child. (New Production Cut)” (21’) – “The Beginning and the End, or ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’ (New Production Cut)” (24’) ➝ “Love is destructive.” (25’) + “I need you.” (26’) = The End of Evangelion ➝ “Do you love me?” (25) – “Take care of yourself.” (26) ➝ “Love is destructive.” (25’) + “I need you.” (26’) = The End of Evangelion.
To my father, thank you. To my mother, farewell. And to all the children… Congratulations!
... I dunno If I'm alone in this but Season 17 felt so rushed, not just because it had 10 episodes... But as if Trey Parker and Matt Stone didn't really want to do it to begin with... Ever since season 16 the show just feels like its keeps on going downhill...
Never into musicals but I am liking this show. It is fun and different and makes me laugh. The singing is entertaining and sounds good. I hope the ratings increase so that they will keep making it. Probably one the few shows I look forward to anymore.
I watched the trailer and thought well here's another silly show - watched it anyway and loved it!
it's a great story of human nature and thoroughly entertaining.
Let me tell you why this show deserves a 9 and secretly occupies a 10 in my heart. WRITING! My god is it sometimes so hard to find such an explicit voice that's both funny and endearing to accompany a setting that ties all of the cast together. I've let this show sit in my queue so that I have both the time to focus and transport myself into its world and catch every line, but also because I don't want it to end. Whenever I manage to watch the behind the scenes or discussions of the process, my sinking suspicion behind most of my favorite shows is that the cast starts to feel like a family. That unspoken bond is something that I believe translates independent of anything deliberately crafted in service to the voice of the show. The last time I talked about family like that was with regard to Firefly. I want to be lost in space with them just as much as I want to help kick the shit out of some degens.
It is hard to think how things like this can happen in real world...dont know what to think at all. It's definitively the most shocking tv show i've ever seen.
Brilliant documentary series if very dispiriting in regards to the US justice system.
One of the weirdest documentary series that can be found. The irony of John Wilson manifests itself in episodes with strange themes such as scaffolding or ways of covering furniture. The mastery of the project is in how it manages to make each episode drift towards unusual paths, which cast doubt on the lucidity of the human being. It is an unusual look at life, a discovery of the most remote places of our existence.
This show is unbelievably dark. It really makes you think about how workplace comedies rely on a culture that celebrates labor when confronted with a comedy that is not buying into that. There is not a single throwaway episode. The depths they plumb to reflect the experience of a young working person in the US right now are so unflinching, and that’s only half the story. The other half is a harrowing and HILARIOUS look at corporate corruption from the top down. There’s literally episodes about starting a war to increase profits, and another about pitching new ideas for addictions. It goes there and it’s not worried about making you uncomfortable. Once you accept that you will be made fun of you will laugh so hard it hurts.
Wow. Really enjoying this
Great cast, awesome settings, fantastic characters. Just loving it.
Hilarious, tear-inducing, even horrifying. This is what they mean when they say "must watch tv".
I actually quite enjoy the series so far. It doesn't it take itself seriously, but isn't over the top in being corny either. It also looks great streaming in 4K HDR from Amazon :)
