Caaaaaaaaaan’t wait for this one!
If this doesn't tickle your funny bone, you should immediately go and have it looked at. It might be broken.
If you're looking at this deciding if you're going to check out Taskmaster, just do it! It's become one of my favorite shows to watch each week!
There is no other show that makes me laugh as hard as this one
Sad this ended so early. Loved it.
I bloody love this show. Surprisingly rude (in a good way) for US TV, the characters are brilliantly invented and played by the cast. I'm very glad I've came across this underrated gem. Fans of The Office (either UK/US), don't miss this one!
I'm a 40 year old white male marvel fan and, based on the first ep so far, I loved this. The animation is awesome to look at. The story is interesting and emotional. This is another banger put out by marvel. Bare in mind, this is directed for kids, but if you're a cartoon fan, it's very well done and incredibly watchable. My only criticism here is that it didn't need to be an hour long. I'm hoping the rest of the season is cut down to half hour episodes. It's a bit extra at that length.
My Ratings
10 - I love it, regardless of quality
9 - Very good, might not love but very well done or might love, forgiving some issues
8 - Very enjoyable or Just OK for me but well done
7 - Good
6 - Watchable despite not liking the film/show
5 - Mid
3-4 - Not great, but got through it
1-2 - Very bad/You might be a communist if you like this garbage
One of the weirdest documentary series that can be found. The irony of John Wilson manifests itself in episodes with strange themes such as scaffolding or ways of covering furniture. The mastery of the project is in how it manages to make each episode drift towards unusual paths, which cast doubt on the lucidity of the human being. It is an unusual look at life, a discovery of the most remote places of our existence.
there are a lot of people who will benefit from seeing this. i hope they all watch it, and learn something. the way that anthony handles expressing himself and his feelings is something i'm still learning how to overcome in my thirties and something i watched my brother go through, too. an affect like this isn't a sign that there's nothing there; it's a sign that there's so fucking much there that it'll choke you if you feel it.
“Amazon Prime making Stranger Things, but different enough to avoid a lawsuit.”
It’s actually based on a comic series. I have read a little bit of it and it’s not Stranger Things.
The people who are hating on this don't understand it's parody, right? Cause it's so obviously ridiculous from the beginning, I almost choked laughing a couple of times.
This cast looks amazing, and everything Phil Lord and Chris Miller touch turns to gold. Looking forward to this. Not sure why Trakt still allows you to rate a show before it has even started airing. Currently sitting at a 10% - I'll have to give it 10/10 for now to even it out.
Social experimentation... Humans like rats in a maze... Evil corporation bent on world domination (maybe)... Mmm, pizza! Me likey!
Mind f* and retro-modern techno wierd. Exactly how I like it
... I dunno If I'm alone in this but Season 17 felt so rushed, not just because it had 10 episodes... But as if Trey Parker and Matt Stone didn't really want to do it to begin with... Ever since season 16 the show just feels like its keeps on going downhill...
I have no idea why I am waiting each week for the next episode.
There is something that really disturbs me in this anime. In one hand it is very dark and mature, with characters that have deep personalities, but in the other hand "lol we bring a lolly with an annoying voice on the battlefield and we do as everything is fine, even though we should all be totally traumatised". Idk, it feels a bit disrespectful for the persons who really suffered of the kind of events that happen in this show. But from what I saw on internet I am part of the minority here.
Anyway still worth watching if you are into anime.
Finally a great, professional show that's shows partially how dangerous this cult is!
It's not a church and never was. Luckily there are countries like Germany that don't recognize this club as a church and they have to pay taxes. Also they are under constant surveillance by the state authorities! (maybe the Germans DID learn something from their own history)
I live in Switzerland - they tried to setup camp here 25 years ago, but today they are mostly gone! Also they never got the church status.
I hope there will be a second season!
I've just finished watching the penultimate episode of season 2, and highly recommend this series to anyone considering Scientology, intrigued by the celebrities who promote Scientology or those caught in the the realization that they need to escape Scientology and need to know there is support for them when they have to leave everything behind to escape with their lives (check out the support Facebook groups for this show). Excellent series, well researched, riveting first hand testimonies, important work. And, I have to say, Leah Remini is one tenacious pit bull created for this purpose (the best of New York spit and fire). Good on her! I give this series an 8 (important) out of 10. [Documentary series]
Amazing show! What an eye opener into the church of Scientology this is. Honestly, I wouldn't even it call it a church. It's more of a brainwashing cult than anything.... and the amount of money they make members spend on merchandise is unbelievable!!
I think it's the funniest UK TV show in 2015, can't wait for season 2!
Wow. Really enjoying this
Great cast, awesome settings, fantastic characters. Just loving it.
Hilarious, tear-inducing, even horrifying. This is what they mean when they say "must watch tv".
Only three episodes in and it's already my favorite American animated series. Robert Kirkman is a genius. I absolutely LOVED the comic book series. Can't wait to see what subtle changes this has in store. Lets Go!!
Absolutely love this show. Oliver does a great job at really making you think at the very important issues that just constantly get swept under the rug. Highly recommend this show.
This just keeps on getting better and better.
This is the first time that be ever had a physical reaction to any cult documentary. The things that occurred are horrific for women. 120 years in prison are a fine sentence but I’m sure that coward will kill himself within the year.
Absolutely amazing. If you have seen all the films, all the series and many documentaries, you still can't believe how good this docu-series is.
There are 2 great things about this series. The music is excellent and the reconstructions are so well acted and done. They do not look like a cheap production. They are so natural that you feel you are watching the real thing. I wish they could have made a theatrical movie with the same actors. Hitler: The Rise of Evil (2003) maybe overlaps but it is in no way this chilling and effective.
I was looking for something to explain the history tidbits that I had in my head from years of past research and out comes this from the shadows.
Perfect. Not overdramatic for TV, sticking to facts and presenting all stories from all sides.
