I have no idea why I am waiting each week for the next episode.
There is something that really disturbs me in this anime. In one hand it is very dark and mature, with characters that have deep personalities, but in the other hand "lol we bring a lolly with an annoying voice on the battlefield and we do as everything is fine, even though we should all be totally traumatised". Idk, it feels a bit disrespectful for the persons who really suffered of the kind of events that happen in this show. But from what I saw on internet I am part of the minority here.
Anyway still worth watching if you are into anime.
Trailer released, looks very promising:

... I dunno If I'm alone in this but Season 17 felt so rushed, not just because it had 10 episodes... But as if Trey Parker and Matt Stone didn't really want to do it to begin with... Ever since season 16 the show just feels like its keeps on going downhill...
This has been great so far. Probably the only "new" anime I'll watch this season and already thought to be the best one so far, and I agree.
Everything from animation, to directing and music has been great. This is a quality anime like one we've not seen lately. It's great to see old school anime styles coming back like this, hope for more.
I've never seen the movie, but I have to now after watching this series. I'm finding it to be a funny parody mockumentary of these vampires. Overall, I'm just really enjoying the show.
Just watched the pilot and I gotta be honest, this is the best pilot of any serie I have ever watched. Can't wait for future episodes.
Caaaaaaaaaan’t wait for this one!
The people who are hating on this don't understand it's parody, right? Cause it's so obviously ridiculous from the beginning, I almost choked laughing a couple of times.
Besides having really gorgeous, mind-bending rotoscoped animation, this show doesn't shy away from some important themes such as mental illness, death, relationship problems and more. It reminds me of "A Scanner Darkly" and "Waking Life" (2001), mostly due to the art style, but they have other similarities as well. You should expect some time travel elements, although they're not as complicated as, say, those in Netflix's "Dark". That might change in the next season though, if we're ever getting one.
got sooo excited when i heard this was coming. hope there are cameos! :smiling_imp:
there are a lot of people who will benefit from seeing this. i hope they all watch it, and learn something. the way that anthony handles expressing himself and his feelings is something i'm still learning how to overcome in my thirties and something i watched my brother go through, too. an affect like this isn't a sign that there's nothing there; it's a sign that there's so fucking much there that it'll choke you if you feel it.
Social experimentation... Humans like rats in a maze... Evil corporation bent on world domination (maybe)... Mmm, pizza! Me likey!
Wow. Really enjoying this
Great cast, awesome settings, fantastic characters. Just loving it.
Hilarious, tear-inducing, even horrifying. This is what they mean when they say "must watch tv".
So far so good - pretty fun show. Coach Lasso is such a positive character, the show put me in a good mood pretty easily. Love Jason Sudeikis of course
Edit after finishing the first season: Fantastic show all around, I looked forward to it every week. Coach Lasso dealing with his struggles as he brings together the team makes for an interesting and entertaining story
This is easily one of the most interesting and original shows I've seen in a long time. Kirsten Dunst is brilliant and the writing is top notch. I can't wait to see where this story goes.
So good. Lough out loud funny as hell and incredibly sad and heartbreaking at the same time. The whole magnificent bittersweet package.
Let me tell you why this show deserves a 9 and secretly occupies a 10 in my heart. WRITING! My god is it sometimes so hard to find such an explicit voice that's both funny and endearing to accompany a setting that ties all of the cast together. I've let this show sit in my queue so that I have both the time to focus and transport myself into its world and catch every line, but also because I don't want it to end. Whenever I manage to watch the behind the scenes or discussions of the process, my sinking suspicion behind most of my favorite shows is that the cast starts to feel like a family. That unspoken bond is something that I believe translates independent of anything deliberately crafted in service to the voice of the show. The last time I talked about family like that was with regard to Firefly. I want to be lost in space with them just as much as I want to help kick the shit out of some degens.
Hooooooooooow is this show not more popular? Why did I have to find out about it by chance? So far, 3 episodes in, it's fantastic fun and pretty well animated. The fact that the plot spans over the whole first season or even whole show makes it all the more interesting, love those Babylon 5 esque space operas! ;)
No, but really, good stuff and I sincerely hope that enough ppl watch it so that we get more than one season at least.
So far I watched countless episodes and series. Never watched something more than once. Except Rick and Morty... Starting my third rewatch right now :D, it is that good! But I can imagine it is not for everyone ;).
After watching this, it's hard for me to think anyone could believe there was "evidence beyond reasonable doubt". There were SO many mistakes, questions, contradictions, and procedural misconducts which cast doubts on the State's case.
Never into musicals but I am liking this show. It is fun and different and makes me laugh. The singing is entertaining and sounds good. I hope the ratings increase so that they will keep making it. Probably one the few shows I look forward to anymore.
If this doesn't tickle your funny bone, you should immediately go and have it looked at. It might be broken.
If you're looking at this deciding if you're going to check out Taskmaster, just do it! It's become one of my favorite shows to watch each week!
There is no other show that makes me laugh as hard as this one
Sad this ended so early. Loved it.
I bloody love this show. Surprisingly rude (in a good way) for US TV, the characters are brilliantly invented and played by the cast. I'm very glad I've came across this underrated gem. Fans of The Office (either UK/US), don't miss this one!
I'm a 40 year old white male marvel fan and, based on the first ep so far, I loved this. The animation is awesome to look at. The story is interesting and emotional. This is another banger put out by marvel. Bare in mind, this is directed for kids, but if you're a cartoon fan, it's very well done and incredibly watchable. My only criticism here is that it didn't need to be an hour long. I'm hoping the rest of the season is cut down to half hour episodes. It's a bit extra at that length.
My Ratings
10 - I love it, regardless of quality
9 - Very good, might not love but very well done or might love, forgiving some issues
8 - Very enjoyable or Just OK for me but well done
7 - Good
6 - Watchable despite not liking the film/show
5 - Mid
3-4 - Not great, but got through it
1-2 - Very bad/You might be a communist if you like this garbage
One of the weirdest documentary series that can be found. The irony of John Wilson manifests itself in episodes with strange themes such as scaffolding or ways of covering furniture. The mastery of the project is in how it manages to make each episode drift towards unusual paths, which cast doubt on the lucidity of the human being. It is an unusual look at life, a discovery of the most remote places of our existence.
