I got the feeling the writers hated people guessing their twists in season one, so they came up with as many bullshit twists as they could for this season, delivered in the most confusing ways possible.

@matt-minix-gmail-com Yep. Season two tried way too hard to recreate the magic of season one.
unbelievable bad. This is simply the worst of all Westworld episodes. Generic at its finest. Also, It has bad writing, bad direction, annoying characters, no relevant addition to the main story and so on.

@blacksnc Exactly one thing that pissed me off gets some BS power that makes no sense and when the power she had before is nullifed. In the same fucking episode, if stuff like this continues I'm going to drop the show because this is just terrible writing.
Another thing is when hosts get shot before they die or fall down, but oh when someone with plot armor like Dolores does she walks it off. I hope she dies off soon because god she is infuriating.
There are several clues, that shows Bernard is, in fact, a host. Bernard's habit of cleaning his glasses = his own reverie. Bernard and Dolores both using the exact same lines while talking about pain. Bernard's wife being conveniently a hologram. Bernard having a son never did anything to negate the theory of him being a host, as we know their memories are created to give them a believable past. His whole demeanor, always calm and collected, felt completely off to me. And in this episode, of course, his "what door?" was what confirmed it and made me think "here we go."
I wouldn't even be surprised if we learned he was the one who abducted Elsie.

@lordjonsnow But it was Theresa who was sending data away on the board's request.
Best episode so far. I pride myself on seeing most things coming in a series, but this episode blew my mind. I had no idea Bernard was one of them untill he said 'What door' near the end of the episode.

@orinmons I'm impressed you got it so early, but apparently they've been dropping hints since episode one! I didn't figure out until he said "Doesn't look like anything to me" after seeing his name on a blueprint, it just never occurred to me that they could be one of them! Definitely the best episode. Raises so many questions.

Man, what a poor episode, lackluster after lackluster. If this is the culmination of the time and interest myself and others have invested into Game of Thrones all of these years, then it is truly unfortunate and disappointing if not almost bordering on an insult.
Such a shame that this will be the legacy of a series that once took the world by storm with its brilliant storytelling and exhilarating plot twists, hardly recognizable anymore when it parades around in a pathetic shell of its former self.
I can't say I'm excited nor even interested in the remaining episodes, at least not when this season has taught me time and again to lower my expectations as much as possible, but I hope they will at least respect what this series once was and offer a conclusion worthy of its story. sigh

@jinzulen there is an abysmal difference between book writing and hbo writing
I'm sorry, but I can't bring myself to feel sad that Archie is dead.

@xadyu Sure, but this isn't one of those cases (where he's the least celebrated). Maybe he's a bit of a martyr, but i'd miss him. It would leave a huge vacuum in the show imo.
This is too complicated, Germans!!!

@mrblonde Pretty difficult to keep track of all the faces/characters.

Rarely have I felt so overwhelmed by an ensemble as by this show. This episode in particular requires you not only to memorise a heap of completely new characters but also to map them onto the corresponding older versions of themselves. The fact that the show plays in a deeply white rural town in Germany doesn't help as everyone looks exactly the same.

@zephir Sorry, I should have definitely mentioned that I belong to the same demographic. From a viewer's perspective, a more diverse cast makes it easier to introduce such a large number of characters. I apologize if my comment offended you.
"Hannah, if my daughter were older I would tell her the same thing - That men, they can control themselves. Everybody can. Everybody acts like consent is this complicated thing, but it's not. All right? Everybody knows whether they have it or not, and it was that boy's job to know."
Some of these speeches are so good. Mr. Porter really made me tear up when he was at the trial and started crying.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. I believe Bryce. I know he's he's got a good heart."
"Are you sure that you're okay?"That part actually made me laugh out loud. But I really think something bad will happen to Chloe... I really hope she was just acting in front of Zach and gets away from Bryce asap.

@haibara Porter's a great character, because he's genuinely remorseful. He made a stupid mistake which seems so simple in hindsight, but he didn't trust his instincts. Now he knows better, but that's a hard lesson learned.
I loved when Clay told Bolan "That's not talking; that's telling." Because a lecture and a conversation are very different things and the best time to educate kids on any difficult subjects is before it happens, not afterward when it's more damage control than anything.
Wait. With McCleash gone, what's the show about?! Dang, didn't expect that to happen.
Also, horrible that Jason went to prison for nothing :(

@d2dyno sorry, I am still quite new to using Trakt and trying to get used to how everything works and this is even my first time replying to someone. I understand what you are saying, I guess I am surprised that if you mark that it is a spoiler, why it doesn't blur it out so that if someone doesn't want to accidentally see vital info they don't, just like if you only markup part of the shout. When I got the email that you replied and then I clicked on reply and it opened in my browser without me login back in all of our messages were blurred where I couldn't even see a reply button to click on until I signed in and then hit my back button to get back to the messages the I could do this reply! But I even tried to make the word "Cheers!" In bold in my previous post using the 2 ** on either side and it didn't work as in a past shout that I wrote where somehow it did work. I also like your .gif that you are using for your profile picture. Wow, that was a long message! Lol ;)
This is getting complicated so it can last a lot

@juliosoft but "complicated" doesn't mean good - as soon they ordered more episodes for this season, it got predictable, usual simple stereotype mainstream plots (all of them) - means, all that can happen, just happens, every person has every conspiracy and problem you can imagine, no matter how illogical - a 10 episode short season on style of netflix series would be better, than stupid plots for just making more episodes
so after a great start, they decided quantity over quality, as usual for kiefer sutherland stuff
Thought ep.2 was bad but ep.4 shoved down more pro-muslim rhetoric. We also see a angelic WH speechwriter being promoted to WH press secretary because his parents are muslim. Why does this show need to promote and highlight muslims at every turn? Even the first lady went out of her way to save a illegal immigrant from deportation. Hard to continue watching such unabashed liberal cliché.

At least turn on the spoiler alert function if you're going to post a list of deceased characters from the episode hours after it airs...
This episode has it all, from small and forgivable mistakes such as randomly disappearing attack dogs to plot-breaking and totally unrealistic killing of characters who could have been interesting and worth keeping alive. It's clear now that the show's creators don't really understand the source material and they are now trying to improvise some fanfiction to hold their story together. They are trying too hard to add shock value by killing off characters who haven't really been developed enough for anybody to be shocked about their deaths. The episode's ending was also trying to go for shock value, but ended up quite random and unnecessary. Most actors and production values are still good as ever, but even those can't carry a flawed story.

To me the murders seem like a desperate move to gain more momentum for the Dorne storyline. It would have been more compelling if they had developed Doran's character to be more like he is in the books, since the sand snakes by themselves aren't that interesting, they're like your average saturday cartoon villains at this point with their "witty" cringey one-liners and all. Also my rating reflects the my disappointment in the recent seasons of the show. I loved season 1-2 so it hits extra hard to see the current state of this show, biggest waste of potential I've probably ever seen.
