Great episode, but it didn't feel like Black Mirror. It's missing the sci-fi element, the dystopian topic, the futuristic technology aspect.
I see that some people say the ending is actually happy and that everything seemed to work out at the end! But i find that's not true!
We can clearly see at the ending that Ki-woo is still poor and dreaming of making his message to his father comes true
but did it actually happene or not? we don't know for sure!
And i guess it didn't happen and that was because the reference back then when they lost their house, when the father told Kim Ki-woo that plans don't always success and that dreams never come true, so it actually does make sense.
The only thing i don't like that how did actually Kim Ki-woo survive?:D
I mean he has been hit twice by a huge rock in his head!!
And the funny thing that the woman who hit her head by falling over the stairs is the one who died :D!
Pattinson is the best Batman ever.
he is so tortured, his emotions are sincere. He's the darkest and most precise batman out there.
the visuals and the soundtrack are incredible and take you into the thoughts of the character.
For me it’s a masterpiece.
Why is everybody complaining? It’s an awesome show. If you want to see some aliens, watch the countless shows about alien invasions - there are many.
But this one…is different. And that’s good. It’s about the people, not about the aliens.
How did all those people fall all that way and survive after being made back into humans at such height?
Broke in and out of prison in less than 48 hours? Eat your heart out Michael Scofield!
Wait a future that has everything digital still has ATMs & cash?
Robots don’t kill people, people kill people. LOL.
Dolores has pretty bad aim, didn't these robots learn anything from The Terminator?
That ending after the credits...I wonder if writers in Hollywood are running out of story ideas, so many plots using Nazi's. What's up with that?
I've really gotta stop reading these comments....
This show is very pretty but all the time jumps and amount of characters is confusing me. Hoping it becomes clearer in time.
A proper send-off for Daniel Craig, he did much for the franchise. One of the better Bond-films for sure, there's lots to like here. The acting is great, music fantastic and obviously the action is riveting. Even at 163 minutes, it does not drag - and even though I wanted more, the ending was perfect. It's exciting to discuss who will become the next Bond, but let's enjoy this ride first and let it sink in.
Seems unrealistic to me that a dad educates a professional football player on ethic topics. If that would be the case the football world would be completely different.
Ooh an alt-verse Loki that's female. Definitely didn't expect that. I like her!
Also loving the music on this show!
wow... maybe it was because I had so low expectations for this show, bit this first episode was really good (in my opinion). I had given up on the CW/DC bit this might bring me back. Hope they keep it good like this.
So... what DOES an English owl say?
This season finale was similar to the premiere, messy. I was expecting some, if not all, the cicadas’ paths would cross, but they’re still all over the place. Also, did I miss something or did Tara suddenly teleported to Amsterdam to save Edwards?? Because I was so sure she was just in a gun battle in Moscow??
Wow! I mean, there is no other way it could have ended but with Carrie being an asset in another country. Sad that Homeland has ended. I’ll miss this show and Carrie’s craziness.
Best Walking Dead Episode Ever!
A bit confusing, so far. Who's pulling the strings? And I'm waiting for Sutherland's trademarked "Damnit".
Can’t believe this is 2nd to last episode ever. Going to miss this show. Amazing as always.
Enjoyably in depth look at Klingon culture. While the show has gone into it before, this episode really sets the template and kicks off a story arc for Worf that will continue across this series and DS9.
Tony Todd is amazing, as always. I also feel like we get to see a little of the real Picard slip through when he smirks at the old woman's line "he was too fat". Normally he has to stay very reserved but doesn't need to here.
Worf gets to shout the captain down, too. Don't see that often. The only slightly confusing thing is the discommendation ending: it's not explained, and I don't see how it differs from the verdict Worf would have received anyway.
After-thought... As someone old enough to remember Lois & Clark, I cannot help but think of the reveal of Lois Lane. S&L's Lois did not look like a Lois he would fall in love with immediately. L&C's Lois was spellbinding. Teri Hatcher was every man's dream as she turned to the camera that first time. I don't like the Lois casting here at all.
Just another movie Dc fans can be disappointed of.Boring Storyline could be tolerated. But why are the action scenes so cheesy:expressionless:
Loved seeing Doug Jones without makeup. Felt like classic Trek with the race switching
Great episode! Took a while to get there, but the show really found itself with Episode 6 and 7.
My theory is that Laurie did it, or is at least complicit in covering for Jacob.
They made a point out of her 6am run far too many times, maybe she was on the way back from her run when she came across Ben and Jacob getting into a fight which she intervened with, fending Ben off with his own knife.
This links with the flashback of Laurie stepping in with the bowling ball, but this time she steps in with the knife.
I think she went to JK Simmons and was able to get the DNA sample after confessing to him that she was complicit in the murder of Ben, and now JK Simmons is using his outside muscle (guy in the Lincoln, guy forcing Patz to write the confession) to cover for the family.
They also made a big point about the Catcher in the Rye about people being one thing on the outside, but thinking something very differently. Laurie is the distillation of this. She has manufactured the persona of perfect wife, great career woman while she hides the secret that she's willing to do violent acts to protect her son and family. She physically manifests this metaphor by literally painting over the vandalism on her garage, covering it. Andy on the other hand was willing to just attempt to wash it away, which only faded it.
Can't wait for Friday!
Why is every damn character in this season so standoffish? I think they want to portray strong characters but they just just come off as rude and irrational. Cameron did really well though
Feels totally different from season 1
After S1 I thought it was good but confusing show, after S2 I thought it was great and really well thought out one. Now after rewatching both seasons for the first time I think the show is fucking masterpiece. If they stick the landing with season 3 it could be up there with the best ever.
God, I'm excited for this.
I just feel bad for that poor guy. In one world is his eye, in the other, his arm... I really wouldn't like to be him across the multiverse
