So many things that are just impossible. It didn't make any sense! Worst episode of the season.
Clues were all there. Motive was easy. Ultimate reveal explained all the gaps. First kills were kinda fun and in line with the 'slasher' genre using found objects (i.e. chainsaw, auger, snowmobile) but seriously..? the gun with the never-ending amount of bullets becomes the favorite? I swear that was the most overly used prop around. :-) Overall, not a bad season and I think I liked it better than the first (I will have to rewatch just to be sure)
I didn’t like this season as much as season one, but it was still good. Some things felt rushed while other things seemed unnecessary (Nancy/Jonathan romance, Max’ crazy brother). Let’s see what awaits us in season three.
Well, this season started off looking really promising and I have to say I'm very disappointed with the ending.
Actually, I have been disappointed with this season since episode 7. I think the whole SCUM thing was just a big mistake, it was ridiculous and badly executed. Also, the show ending with Ally basically ruling that SCUM cult or whatever was just... ugh.
"The living should not envy the dead."
The more I watch of this anime... the more I fall in love with it. This episode was absolutely beautiful.
As a massive fan of the original series, I was pretty apprehensive about this one. So far at least, this one doesn't seem to betray the spirit of the original. Some pretty nice visuals here and I quite like Kino and Hermes' voice actors. Getting used to the more "modern" animation style may take some getting used to and I did notice a bit of scene re-use already which I hope they keep to a minimum. All in all it does seem to be going for the same contemplative tone so here's hoping it will remain consistent throughout.
And so the story ends. It's been a long ride.
A great series and an expertly told story. I still can't believe Studio DEEN did this one. Bravo to them for crafting such a unique and compelling story.
This has been quite possibly the worst series finale in the history of television.
This final pretty sucks. Silver linin: I won't see Lena Dunham naked in the future

I love that we're getting right into the thick of things rather than stalling a bit on the slower material. Glenn is already showing glimpses of his former "BOSS" self. The main battle in the next episode is going to be absolutely lit and I hope it gets animated pretty well. Can't wait!
The series lost itself in season 3 and is never getting that spark back. Will keep watching out of habit, but... meh.
What the fuck kind of bullshit was that
What kind of piece of shit ending was that? God damn cliffhangers
I'm really no fan of going back and forth, staying on one point in the story.
Something this show does with the Rachel character, started to bore me at the beginning of this season.
Hence I was relieved that Coleman was there to stir this up a lot, a shining ray of hope for her character.
The whole episode was pretty strong - until the end. Totally stupid and out of character af for Jeremy.
Yes, he still loves Rachel and wants to protect here, especially after hearing about her past, but that is literally overkill.
I really hope this was a red herring to get Jeremy back in as a "trusted" member. There are several indicators pointing to that possibility. If it's not a red herring, then this show took a serious hit in my book.
Moreso than it did by using such a shitty season cliffhanger already.
5 out of 10 is gracious here.
Finally saw the finale and it was another nice episode. Anything with the mid-ranks usually ends in hilarity, and this episode is no different. We got a lot of nice little cameos from the entire cast (human and youkai) but I liked the flashbacks that Natsume had to when he was sick as a child. It had a really nice resolution at the end that linked together the whole episode. I'm sad that this season is over (and that it was a shorter season), but that'll be solved with the upcoming OVAs and the sixth season airing in 2017. CAN'T WAIT.
The fanservice came back but I don't even care. Somehow the animation actually conveyed the difference between the two Yuris' performances. That, in itself, is amazing.
Bravo. Right in the feels with one last misunderstanding ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) For what we got, this was a fantastic adaptation of the manga and ended on a good part. Loved the umbrella sharing moment and the final song of Cocoro Pallette being played again with (what I believe is) the cast singing it. I need all versions of this song ASAP.
There is also definitely a little more room for an extra OVA to adapt the Nonaka/Usami chapter and some other little parts, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for an announcement on that in the near future. Overall, I enjoyed this one so much this season as feel. really did a spectacular job bringing to life some of my favorite characters in recent memory.
There's going to be more in Spring 2017?!?!?! I thought that my nightmare of them ruining Berserk would be over after today, but I guess not. At the very least though, we'll be getting some much needed Schierke action. You can never top a loli witch ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Holy hell, that episode was pretty horrific. No wonder Subaru broke.
Aw, it ends showing you that you were talking to the imaginary image of your stuffed animal. Now that's motivating and not lonely at all!
You awake in a running car to a man grinning at you. No, you're not being kidnapped. Of course not. I mean, we don't see you actually getting home, but oh well!
Terrific serial killer vibes. Nice to fall asleep to! Not creepy at all!
What a disappointment. Horrible CG. I usually can manage but this was taken to a different level. Like PS2 level. I might consider watching 2 or 3 more but don't think I can get used to it. Why can't the manga have decent adaptions? :(
This was a great episode in terms of the range of emotions shown both between Ushio & Asako during their brief reunion, and between Nagare & Tora during their fight. The action in this episode was superbly animated. However, I just honestly couldn't understand the reasoning behind the whole "Nagare betrayal" act and that conclusion didn't really help things out either. There just was never enough to flesh out the reasons behind Nagare's "betrayal" and maybe there is more content in the manga that makes the audience buy this all a little more.
Anyway, RIP bro. Glad that the "wind finally stopped blowing" (aka stupid reasoning).
This time they ended up in one of their shorts for the animator expo. You can find it here:

The real version is a little more... explicit...
Should've ended 10 seconds earlier. That seven years later additional scene fucking ruined the entire episode.
The addition of maids and lolis can never be a bad thing. Science.
Mother. F'n. LEGEND. Sakamoto is "the man". End of story. A true gentleman and a scholar. I died at the part where Acchan says, "I think... I'll make this my wallpaper."

Next week's episode looks great. I always love the uppity hot girl who tries to seduce the legendary bro. This will be epic. Studio DEEN is saving anime once again.
Interesting first episode. Gonna keep watching.
These characters look way too much alike tough. Having a hard time to tell the difference between these characters.
Well that was very silly, but very fun. Despite looking like it'd be the usual otaku pandering LN fantasy nonsense, it was self-aware enough to take the piss out of itself and the genre. Not a masterpiece by any means, but definitely entertaining. Glad we're getting a second season. Bravo DEEN!
