A fantastic episode, this season has been amazing. This show turned to be one of the best on TV right now. I love the Roci crew bonding and Bobbie has been a great character so far. I'm going to miss this show so much. See you soon Roci and friends!
Trying to distract myself with a Game of Thrones rewatch while I wait on the premiere. Because, this is my shit right here.
8.3/10
I will readily admit, I was initially just interested in this movie because of Jennifer Lawrence.
The beginning was a tad bit slow, but don't let that deter you. The rest of the film you will be trying to catch up to what is going on. I will need to see this a second time to begin to understand all the intricacies of the plot, which was unpredictable (my favorite characteristic of any plot).
Throughout, the intentions of Dominica are never clear. She seems to genuinely serve both sides, and yet, equally betrays both sides. I don't think she cares about anyone but her mother. Even the 'love' she shows to Nate, turns out to be a means to an end. I personally loved that I could not tell what was in her head because it kept me guessing.
Some of the acting felt disingenuous, but the main leads (especially Lawrence), were astonishing. The soundtrack worked well, and there really wasn't any 'fake' action to take away from a beautiful plot.
By the end of the film, you will be confused beyond all reason. Lawrence's character developed into a psychopath - a product of the system she was put in.
That's another one of my favorite Bundy episodes.
killed it bruh!!
ending track had me laughing so hard. spot fuçkn on!!
It was refreshing to see the season end on a high note instead of another "OMG WTF" cliffhanger.
No Way!... Can you believe that Awesome, Freaking Ending?... I was literary on the edge of my seat,... Freaking Awesome!
Goddamn that ending.... They sure know how to keep us in suspense until the next episode :O
I hope this weapon is not meant literally but rather as some kind of metaphor.
An interesting premise and a great cast can't save this movie from being a bore. There's never any real reason to root for anyone and there is hardly any action to keep you entertained. I did enjoy seeing so many different pairings of the big cast. Jodie Foster and Dave Bautista should do another movie together. The few sci-fi elements were cool to see. I wish I liked it more than I actually did.
R I P robin williams :(
boring so far. I'll give another 2 episodes a try.
Fantastic thriller. For those who like to be spoon fed mind-numbing high-octane violence, action, explosions etc, this isn't for you. For the rest of us, welcome to the wonderful world of acting and drama. The accents are, mostly, genuine or very well done. The Northern Irish accent can be difficult to follow if you're not used to hearing it. Good to see a show set in Northern Ireland in which the troubles are not a major concern.
@nmahoney416 Did you notice the picture in the beginning of the movie with the father and daughter in front of the high school? The high school is the “home of the catfish” :)
no Spacey... no Play. Bye HoC :(
What a bad ending to this once great show... This season made no sense at all.
Whoooooo this is boring. Its technically well acted and put together, even an important look at addiction, but what a snore-fest
This just doesn't work for me! The first half of the movie was so boring, i don't know why but de sound mixing was so bad, the directing was good but the flashbacks were confusing. The only good thing in this was Timothée Chalamet acting, i mean, all of them were good but he was way better! I'm going to give this a 6.5/10
Definitely had high hopes for this movie, was expecting something twisted and over the top, and what it turned out to be was a standard war movie with some extra gore and some monsters.
Way too much time spent on getting us to know the characters, and too little on action.
You're better off watching a real WW2 movie or a straight up zombie movie instead of this half-baked mix of them.
There is nothing original or remarkable in this movie. It's an honest action movie that doesn't try to be anything else. The cast is clearly what pulls you into this movie. A little bit less running time would have helped the pace as it drags a little bit after they went down with the helicopter. The ending was a bit dissapointing . Soundtrack is really good, though. Overall a good "7", something you can watch once.
This show isn't supposed to be this good!
Depending the outcome I'd say they have just stepped up the serious factor of this show by a lightyear. And we've just met the Borg of the Orville universe. Remember when Picard turned towards the screen saying "Resistance is futile" ? This comes damn close to my reaction back than.
Great episode. Good buildup, and exciting conclusion. Someone here compared it to a famous Star Trek TNG episode - I agree (No spoilers).

- Hey captain, are you sure we should leave the door open? its a hostile world, they might come in and steal our TV !
- No no, leave it open. Lets get some air here. Too many farts!
Boy casually walks outside for a stroll, door pass = 1234.
2 Super smart robots don't see him.
[/joke] haha ! :D
1st half of the movie was good. Had potential. But other half is just bad. Not worth losing 2 hours.
This isn't actually a comment, it's a rant...
The movie goes from interesting and mysterious to stupid and idiotic.
3 guys working shifts on the lighthouse of a small island find a small chest with a dozen gold bars, recovered from a salvaged loot that hit their shore. The apparently dead body near their loot isn't dead and tries to murder one of them, but gets killed in the process. They keep the secret and the gold. Soon after two strangers arrive looking for their dead mate, and more importantly, the looted gold. One thing leads to another and they soon become involved in a fight for their lives. After prevailing, a shadow appears outside of the lighthouse... afraid, they chase that figure until the character portrayed by Gerard Butler kills the runner with a swift cut of the neck using his crab-hunting hook. The figure he killed was a ~12yo child, I'm guessing the child came with the two other deceased pirates, even though it's stupid enough. From there on James (GB's char) enters a delusional state that jeopardizes the 3 companions. The rationale behind the steering direction into sheer stupidity wants us to (vaguely) believe that mercury poisoning was somehow involved, although the most stupid character (Gerard Butler's) was not necessarily in direct contact with the substance, and certainly not as much as other characters might have been. Unclear.
TL;DR: Scenery, music, and acting is great... you enjoy half the movie and then it steers into a great anti-climatic and frustrating 2nd half, ending in the same direction as Gerard's character. I would have unseen the movie if it were possible because the bad parts cancel the good ones. Negative, but candor, a waste of my time - despite the beautiful cinematography.
Anyone else ever notice that Bortus seems to ALWAYS have some level of drama going on? Think about it; the gender of his kid, public urination, porn addiction, his spouse killing someone, facial hair, nicotine addiction... I know I must have missed some but you get the gist of it...
"I always had blue eyes" #genius :joy::joy:
"Waiting for an old friend".
Damn you Three-Eyed Raven!

YOU MUST COME DANCE WITH US!
That dance scene was hilarious.
Also, Sr. Kelly's line to LaMarr, "I know that face, what's wrong?" Cut to LaMarr, and his expression is exactly the same as it is in every single scene and every single line delivery.
