And fucking Evelyn bitch! Please, just die. Someone please snap her next once and for all. Someone has to kill her in ways that'll hurt. I can't stand that fucking traitor. just die already. I knew she was still working with Prometheus. I didn't feel sorry when she "died", in fact, I knew he didn't kill her. Had Adrian killed her, he will have always had a place in my heart (not that he already has it).
I loved Stephen Amell's performance. He's always great, but he screaming his heart out while being tortured makes you feel it's real. Stephen gave the best performance I've ever seen tonight. Amazing performance as well from Josh Segarra. Phenomenal acting by both. I'm definitely gonna miss Josh Segarra after this season. The two of them had some of the most powerful scenes I've ever seen. "Because I wanted to! And I liked it" chills in my spine that delivery gave me goosebumps.
I fucking love Anatoly. He's definitely my favourite Russian "Anatoly Knyazev, gangster"
I couldn't help but think how different Season 1 would've been if Anatoly had said Malcolm Merlyn instead of "American businessman". The same if Malcolm had known it was Ollie who. I think Malcolm's only point is to revive people. Plus, John Barrowman 3 out of 4 episodes this week, yass.
Not sure how it'll all evolve next episodes, but after seeing next week's promo, everything's going down. Adrian's grin, though. Tonight's episode was brutal and Adrian Chase = straight psychotic savage. He's the real spawn of Satan. Even Slade had limits but this guy, he's straight savage. I'm certainly enjoying him, though. And Josh Segarra's portrayal has me embellished. Anyways, let's see how Ollie recovers from this and how he faces Adrian "I don't give a fuck" Chase.
This episode is the proof that Arrow can go from 0 to 100 real quick. When he wanted Ollie to confess for a Dec there I thought he wanted him to say "I have failed this city". He's hardcore af going all Jigsaw. He's fucking scary and I like it.loading replies
@vero-winchester Right? RIGHT? I am so fucking mad Adrian faked that. SHE. NEEDS. TO. DIE. ASAP. Snap her neck, arrow in her heart. I don't care.
Doesn't want side with Oliver because he kills the bad guys but is TOTALLY OKAY siding with someone who killed his wife and dozens of other innocents. wtf?
I think I will skip this one. A musical filler episode? No, thanks.

@alex8mr 1 star for something you didn't see ?
Entertaining, but I just don't get why the writers insist on regurgitating the whole "4 horsemen of the apocalypse" bit again..

@thogek couldn't agree more! Still watchable though. I do like the dynamic and chemistry of the team this time around much better, although Abby was a badass.
Review by Lee Brown Barrow Movie Buff
VIP3This is the Unforgiven of superhero movies, a brutal yet tender portrayal of former heroes growing old. Logan is tired and world weary, waiting for death to take away his pain. Charles is 90, riddled with drugs to mute his mind, his "super weapon." Despite their friendship their relationship is fractured. Into their lives comes a new mutant and a road trip begins.
I don't want to say much more, having given away a little of the premise already explored in the films trailers. This is a tough, violent and sad film with few moments of humour. There is action but not of the blockbuster kind, one key car chase is like something from a 70's thriller.
This is the swan song of Logan and Charles, both actors giving it their all in their final performances as these characters. To bring them back after this film would undermine their work and the story here.
The film is brilliant and I can't recommend it enough - don't expect a traditional X-Men movie and you will be blown away. If the film itself were a mutant I would say its genes had been spliced with Mad Max and Shane, with a little bit of Children of the Corn (and I mean that in a good way). Excelsior!

@faithful I believe it's heavily assumed that X-24 is Daken. But yes, this story was brutal, didn't slow down on the punches, was emotional, and shows a world still divided on mutants after all these centuries. Logan mentioned there not being any mutants in 25 years -- 2004, which is around when M-Day happened in the comics. For any comic fans: yes, Laura exists in present time, and is fully-grown (as she is Wolverine in the comics), so treat this as an alternate universe storyline. It was absolutely phenomenal, and I hope to see more dystopic future movies for other anti-heroes.
That was fucking absurd. I loved it. Incredible episode. Damn I love this show and this episode was really funny. I'm still laughing so I have no idea what might come out. But may the Plotforce be with you. I loved the cast today. Everyone did a great job. And I got so hyped when I listened to those angry helicopter noises. Thawne certainly looks extra menacing in that lightning. Amaya, Ray and Nate's speech was superb: STAY IN SCHOOL! And that menacing pointed finger was quite convincing. I laughed louder that I should. George Lucas a the plot was just fantastic and the trash compactor scene was just so over the top. Where have I seen that before? lol And I'm glad Rip is back (thought I'd never say that outloud). He shouting at Vandal Savage because he wasn't threatening enough was hilarious. And I almost died of laughing when he didn't know how to use a gun. I actually though he was gonna hurt himself or one of the legends. And when he got arrested, that high pitched scream. I'll never recover. And Nate being a yoga instructor, yeah man, that sucks. And when Jax said he went to Sunday school, I pictured him singing Gospel. And Snart us definitely real. I refuse to believe he's dead.
The entire cast was amazing. I guess now it's RIP to Rip and Welcome Phil. Stein was on point: "I'm doing brain surgery, what's it look like?" And Sara and Jax accepting it like, OK, we don't have time, for your shit. And Merlyn's expression when he punched Nate, lol. I was a bit off when Dahrk and Merlyn were continuously missing shots like they were stupid or something. Then I realized they were Stormtroopers, lol. And the elevator scene. Seriously, I couldn't stop laughing. The music was just so damn perfect.
"Hi, my name is Phil. I'm a full time film student and a part time recreational drug user", oh man that was just brilliant. I loved how Nate kept on calling Lucas by his full name. I just loved everything on this crazy episode.

@thogek Same though here. That you're our only hope got me rolling on the floor. I couldn't believe it. What an awesome episode

VIP8Am I crying? Yes. Yes, I am. Damn it, Flash. You did it again. You managed to turn me into a sobbing mess.
First of all, what was Mark fucking Hamill doing there? I've never seen him in anything other than Star Wars, so my first thought was a horrified "L-Luke?". Amazing. It takes some serious balls to cast such an iconic actor and then have him appear in just one scene. I applaud the showrunners.
Yay, Wally got his suit. Maybe he will finally stop whining.
I can't decide if I like Julian or not. Sure, he's not a bad guy, but he can still be an asshole when he wants to be.
"One shall betray you. One shall fall. One will suffer fate far worse than death."
Fuck off, Savitar. Nobody messes with Team Flash. And stay away from Iris. We've already lost Laurel, I won't let another plant-named love interest/moral compass/badass die on my watch.
So, Caitlin can control her powers now? It would be so cool (no pun intended) if she could use them without fear of turning into Killer Frost.
Drunk H.R. is hilarious. And his little happy dance with Wally in the park was absolutely adorable.
The Flash sure knows how to do a Christmas episode. I don't get nearly as excited about Christmas as I used to, but even my cold, dead heart warmed up a little when I saw all those decorations and all the characters together and happy for once. I was afraid something would happen and the episode would end on a cliffhanger, but no. Instead we got Barry and Iris being cute and in love. Someone punch me in the face, I can't handle the feels.
So, I guess this is the mid-season finale? In that case, see you all in 2017! And early Merry Christmas wishes to all of you!

@aniela-krajewska
Actually Mark Hamill has already appeared in 3 Flash Episodes:
- The Present (2016) ... James Jesse / The Trickster
- Running to Stand Still (2015) ... James Jesse / The Trickster
- Tricksters (2015) ... James Jesse / The Trickster
Whilst not having read the source novels, Divergent desire to be the next "Hunger Games" style franchise is evident in its dystopian setting, purportedly strong intelligent female characters ( they're not ! ) and sequel baiting in its resolution. What is disappointing is the lack of any originality to distinguish itself from other similar ideas - it's faction based society heavily influenced by films like Gattaca and others of that ilk. The film also spends an inordinate amount of time with one faction, and probably the least interesting one at that, devoting the bulk of its plot to the heroine being trained, and of course, falling for one of her trainers. You would think that the focus would be on the so-called Divergent group, given the title and the vague ominous warnings from several characters about their threat. Perhaps the sequels will develop this better, but here it is simply a plot device to touch base with typical themes of individuality, free will and teen angst over being pigeonholed, as well as provide a motivation for the villain's plot. That it rarely explores these within any great depth is the film's main problem, preferring to focus on the developing romance between the two leads. There are no surprises in the story, but the central leads do their best with the thin material and it is watchable enough.

In the book Tris is the narrator and the story is told from her perspective. That's why the movie spends so much time with one faction and her being trained.
Cool thing with answer on "His name is..." in the final scene. And sadly, not fully happy end for Burton.

@thogek maybe. One thing I know for sure that Tess's mom was right. He was in love with the idea of her.
Doesn't this happen at the same time as other CW shows like Arrow and The Flash? How's Laurel alive and how is Raymond in Star City, with his suit?

@grumm I think it's a bit behind. I was confused too, so I looked it up. The first season was written when Arrow season 3 was written, so it kind of fits in around that time.
