They did a really good job of dealing with Ruby Rose's exit of the show. I wasn't expecting to take to Ryan this easily. There was a lot of exposition to set up a whole new character but it was done in a decent way.
They've given her a whole other reason to have tension with Alice, we've still got a queer lead and lots of fun on the way.
Cautiously optimistic!
"Awe.... and I faught Thanos"
PSA: hold ON through the credits there are TWO post-credit scenes
I'm lost as to why Chester freaked out when he said "I'm dead to him" in front of Cecile. Did somebody die that I forgot about?
Haters: Marvel is all action and no story. There's no substance.
Haters now: Ugggh why is marvel spending so much time on story I came to see falcon and winter soldier kicking ass!
i don't give the CW much credit, but this was actually a damn good episode and Eclipso looks great, comic book accurate for once. can somebody please tell me why Beth is a member of the team, she is literally useless and adds nothing, she is a liability
It's like they want to have the show be like what comic books use to be. Like they aren't reimaginating the stories to fit some new socio-political agenda.
I really like the way how they are showing the conflict. Some politics and tactics, followed by action and the close bond of the crew. All that high tech but you get the same feeling from the Free Navy as you would look at the pirates in Black Sails. Minutes later you see a conflict between family in a civil war like North&South. I hope the can do the rest of the story in a few years ( pull a Dexter ? ) because I simply need more.
Has anybody picked up on the timeline of the war? First we had a Pearl Harbor moment followed by the Battle Of Britain scenario, last episode they captured the Enigma machine and in this episode the Free Navy had their Midway.
Oh shieeeeet, Dr. Bishop is on the case !
edit: THINK FINOLA ! THINK !
I can't even begin to describe how heartbroken I am that Alex died. He was such a kind and loving man and to kill him like this without even letting him make up with his family was just cruel. I will miss this space cowboy so much, he deserved way better.
SO, I think comparing episodes is not what this is all about as each one is a unique take of the writer and director. Why not ?
This was more a fun take with some cool references. But it also is about friendship I'd say and staning up for one another. And that, too, is a big part of Star Wars.
And you have to admit, Mini-Boba is awesome.
Great episode.. highly enjoyed the Space Tag game LOL
the chasing sequence was fun
Also welcome aboard Bobbie, missed this badass
Another Fantastic episode.
Kind of disappointed there wasn't much to do with Diggle though.
His appearance in the series has been teased for quite a while, but in this episode it completely overlooks what happened on the previous episode of The Flash where he was going to fulfil his destiny of dealing with whatever was in the glowing green box.
He does mention the box in this episode but only that he's "done with glowing green boxes".
Ignore the haters, this was grand slam in the 9th inning good.
Spoiler Warning: Agnes: do you want to take it from the top ? Wanda looked nervous that Agnes knows what is going on. Great scene.
Plus Agnes probably killed the dog. I think Agnes is who Vision’s co-worker is afraid of, not Wanda.
Awesome 80’s like opening credits as well. Such an awesome episode. Quicksilver from the Fox X-Men movies. So weird.
Stop voting before the episode airs, you idiots!
We live in a truly great age, that post credits scene was just perfect, over the top, inaccurate to the original story (deliberately), beautiful parody.
OH MY GOD IT'S FUCKING PIETRO!!!! EVAN PETERS PIETRO! Lowkey wish it was Aaron Taylor Johnson tho...... BUT I KNEW IT. Every time the door bell ring, I always wish it was Pietro and it wasn't, but I kept thinking 'oh, it's coming alright, it's coming' and then BOOM.
Also, I have never been more scared of Vision until he raised his voice as he argue with Wanda, like..... shit, I'm genuinely scared.
Haha dr. Who... Great reference
Seriously. How stupid do they think viewers are?!
I understand that superhero movies need to have outside of the box content, be daring, and impulsive. But my red line is as soon as your intelligence is insulted.
So the Red Room that no one was able to find for so many years, was just a few thousands of feet in the air??!!!
Are you saying that this floating monstrosity was never seen, detected, by naked eyes, satellite, planes, etc. And was just hiding behind some clouds ?!!
Hollywood movies are becoming more stupid by the day, and that's only because their American viewers are receptive to it.
this episode was a banger. that team v team fight sequence was a joy to watch, loved the editing choices. to top it off, the ending sets up the rest of the season really well. p.s. Yvette Monreal is so pretty bro.
So far my fears about this moving to the cw have been for not. First episode and it’s hasn’t been CW nized let’s hope the rest of season 2 stays on point.
I liked it better when the forces were multiversal cosmic force of nature than some whiny adults who act like kids... And I thought the other 3 forces were destroying Central City and now they are good guys again... The Still Force and Speed Force is supposed to be like opposites... But now it is speeding up Barry?! Like what...? The and the cringe family lines...
Woah, that was surprisingly good!
After that disastrous season premiere, we got an actually well-written episode!
Gustin is killing it so far this season. Glad we got Cisco and Caitlin back, and no Chester.
Absolutely loved the episode from beginning to end, but when Kang the Conqueror/He Who Remains finally appears, isn't he initially just describing Counterpart's (an amazing series with J.K. Simmons, from 2017, I think) plot?
Anyway, MULTIVERSE UNLEASHED, MOTHER**CKERS!!
This episode was so painful. Hard to believe that a comic book show is one of the most thoughtful, emotionally honest things on TV. Season 3 is just excellent. It's an 8 or a 9 from me each week, and I'm honestly not sure what a 10 would even look like at this point.
We know that Omega is very important but I don't think it was on of the Kaminoans who hired Fennec. That would be too obvious, wouldn't it? It's someone we haven't seen yet.
By far the best episode of the season, even the last few seasons.
The stakes of the story actually feel real, they remembered that Barry is the main character and didn't spend too much time on the side characters, and the action scenes were superb.
They also remembered things like 1. He needs to constantly eat cause of his metabolism. 2. He's a genius scientist and 3. Going super fast has consequences to non-speedster stuff. They don't make a big show off of any of them but simply remembering those things in general is more than they've done since season 3/4.
All in all this feels like the showrunners actually remembered how to make The Flash again, even if we get it only for an episode.
And it just so happened to be in the episode which Iris isn't part of in any way. Hmmm... almost like there's a connection there.
I was totally OBSESSED with this show when I was younger. I remember being a teenager watching this and was so crushed when it was cancelled for the next season and didn't understand why. It was the time of second chances like the biodome and other shows moving to other planets. I was happy to see it actually hit DVD in 2005 and was hoping it would make a resurgence but alas it did not. This show had sooooo much untapped potential and a stellar cast to boot. So sad it was only one season
Much better than the season premiere. Yet I am still missing Ralph. Grant Gustin even blocked me on Instagram just for saying they should at least replace Ralph.
This episode is better than it has a right to be. Since the show isn’t as good as it once was. Feels like the show should end soon.
