Like I don't get the direction this last season is going. I hope the climax is worth it because I can't stand that psychotic obsessed one dude that's can't stop looking into the taskforce.
Another episode that is meh, not going to rewatch this episode
The story was just as basic and clishee as the first episode but hell was this a great character episode! It was so good to see young Dooku and Qui-Gon in a moment way before all we know of the main Saga. And kudos to the voice actor! I immediately recognised that this was supposed to be a young version of Qui-Gon by the first sentence he spoke.
There was so much suspense in how the two would act and react because their characters were still on the way of getting to were we know them. Although I find the stage in which Dooku was in already a bit far and his distancing from the way of the Jedi could have been a lot more subtle I loved how they planted a comprehensible seed for his motivation to.becoming who he will become.
Also great work in creating these younger versions in terms of what the look like. They are absolutely convincing.
It took me a while to realize that Leia doesn't remind Obi-Wan of Padme, but of Duchess Satine.
I wanted this episode to be the greatest climax any season has ever had. The previous episode gave it a great setting to do a lot of amazing things in the season finale.
The finale was slow paced it was well put together and expertly delivered. Each and every scene purposely moved the story along. The people who lost value in the greater narrative were trimmed off. Nobody died that was truly important. And nobody moving forward in the story has an absolute certainty about their future.
What I love the most about this episode was that the producers realized that the greatest attraction to the series itself is homelander. They gave us a season finale that did not take away from the character of homelander but it's still held him back is a character with a greater story yet untold. There is so much uncertainty around homelander and what is next for him and his son.
I'm curious how the producers are going to save butcher's life in the next season good stuff so far. Overall season finale was well done
But wait. If Mikkel did not disappear, so Ulrich didn't travel back to kill Helge, so why did Helge say "It was you!!"?
When they did said Stargirl was moving to CW I got worried, but It's actually going pretty good, it doesn't even look like a CW show.
Did anyone else recognize the “homage” to Lord of the Rings with the flashlight falling down the hole?
A part of me REALLY hopes there's a Bloopers/ Extra for the DVD scene where Lex is singing "Try a Little Tenderess," by Otis Redding...
OMG Why do these shows wanna leave you hanging hard. The season finally was awesome, but I seriously hate when I don't have closure. This show should run in the fall so we don't have too wait lol cal is grown, mom is dead, the plane disappeared, and a plot to kill Ben! such an awesome end to the season, will definitely have you sitting on the edge of your seat until next year.
Space opera meets murder mystery? Sounds like a weird mix...but it works!
Ordinarily I would not particularly like an episode that is nothing but action, but this is visually stunning and has some fantastic cinematography. There's an intelligent flow to the battle, and this is exciting enough to manage without much in the way of characters.
Great one, I'm really impressed by how this show defies the longevity curse most TV shows go through.
I'm sad that Alex is gone, but I guess it's understandable due to the accusations he was facing.
Actually decent finale considering it was rushed and adapted to be the season finale haha
I think this is sadly the season finale. Since the season goes on Netflix tomorrow.
Which is because the Coronavirus lockdowns didn’t allow many seasons to finish filming. Including the Flash, Supergirl and Charmed.
The finale was supposed to be epic and include the Reverse Flash. So this was a weak finale but not anyone’s fault.
This episode didnt make one lick of sense but it was fun. And it's always nice to see a Star Trek spoof that's better than the actual Star Trek we're getting these days. And to say they claim the TOS aesthetic wouldn't work.
PS Her Kirk impression sucked
PPS Missed opportunity to get in some "DOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!"
Elodie inviting Aram to go to the same wedding The Stranger's meet was going to take place and using his fake name tags, is definitely not a coincidence. A random crossed my mind because of that. Could she be Katarina's daughter? I honestly have no idea why I thought of that, but I guess there's a chance she could be.
Legends of Tomorrow may not be a part of the Elseworlds cross-over but judging from this episode's ending, it doesn't mean they won't have fun...
For me, Clayne Crawford was the driving force behind this show for 2 seasons. I really wanted to hate this episode, but thanks to Sean William Scott I found myself actually enjoying it. Since this seems to have worked, can they now kill off Wayans? :)
I don‘t get it why Nora Allen is presenting herself now. She was hanging around all season so why now? The only thing i could think of that she shouldnt‘ had helped barry destroy the satellite and now she‘s changing her future ...
But I‘m definitely looking forward to see this getting all unriddleded in the next season.
Bravo! That is how you do an all girl team up. Take notes, Flash. No tacky "hashtag feminism" lines and forced friendships. Everyone was helpful and contributed equally. Both teams on space and earth were interesting and fun to watch. Go Supergirl! This season continues to impress me. Kara is still breaking my heart over losing Mon-El. Though that scene at the balcony made my heart less achy.
Elliot's wife (Fen?) just got 50 times more interesting (the FU-Fighters LOL)! She, Margo and Elliot are my absolute favorite characters.
And speaking of Elliot and his wife, the "bunny pregnancy test" totally made my day! Hilarious!
I know this probably makes me a totally horrible person, but I just can't get myself to feel empathy for Julia. She's a deeply selfish person who makes terrible decisions. I can't seem to muster any pity for her. I'm sorry, I just don't like her.
Toxic fragile masculinity is exhaling from most of these comments. Stop whining and just don't watch the show. Damn, you guys like being stupid.
“If you’re not into Batman, Green Arrow, Iron Man , etc, those who are heroes without powers, then this show is not for you. If you’re not into DC heroes, then again, this show isn’t for you. If you’re homophobic or sexist, then you won’t like this show. If you can’t stand good quality shows, then you won’t like this show. Still here? Then you should like this it." — (FangsMcWolf, 7 October 2019 user review on IMDb) (the part about good quality shows being more personal, tho)
It's funny to see bad reviews for this movie, and a lot of criticism towards JJ, but it's clear that all the choices made in this movie was to correct the choices made in The Last Jedi, the movie that was hated by all the fans till yesterday, but now people are praising.
The Rise of Skywalker is a great movie, specially for fans, it's a great way to end this saga, filled with fan service. I don't think I can say more than that without spoiling the experience for everyone.
All the critcs you see here, or on twitter, are coming from people who thinks star wars, a space opera, should be a deep and complex movie with fanfics about romances.
I've never saw a episode so humanized. You can feel the pain from the villain and the heroes. And the long take (car scene) was the best of MCU until now - I didn't remember any long take, just saying.
