This is what Inception should’ve been.
Does UC Sunnydale only hire assholes for professors?
There’s something interesting about Riley and Spike drinking together as buddies, commiserating over Buffy.
While it has arguably the best line in the whole series, and it’s interesting to see where they tied into Stoker’s story, overall, it’s a bit less than I remembered. Maybe if they had made Drac the big bad, and developed his character over the season I would’ve like it more this time around.
Who knew that a Mon Calamari and Quarren love scene would actually be kind of sexy.
Zeb and Chopper! Love it! This really does seem like it’s leading into the sequel trilogy now.
Definitely reached the throw things at our protagonists stuck up a tree phase of the story.
That final scene was absolutely worth the tedium of the rest of the episode.
I love to see Christopher Lloyd guest star in a series. Some day I should watch Taxi from the beginning.
Awww, Norm actually loves Vera. So sweet.
I definitely remember Sam and Diane at the bar at the end.
This one looms large in my memory. I must’ve seen it on reruns more than once. The rant at the end is truly iconic.
Like putting on a old comfortable pair of jeans. Also, I want to know more about the woman in the hat and wheelchair.
I think this is the ACAB episode. Copaganda at it’s finest.
The only thing I remember from previously watching this episode was Anya in the Bunny costume. Also, what is wrong with professors at UC Sunnydale? They’re all so angry!
I definitely forgot how kinky Harmony was.
The disjointedness of the two storylines felt as crazy as Linda acted here. Great closing credits song, though.
I bet spontaneous singalongs of Hey Jude happen all the time in England.
Yay, Michelle Yeoh battle scene! Best part of the episode, which otherwise seemed a bit lackluster compared to the previous one.
Better episode than the first. More Yeoh and Quan! Someone needs to tell Suzy that she’s not in the right here.
All full of origin stories, or at least partial ones. Interesting to see everyone on Coruscant going about business as usual while Order 66 was happening.
Some great visuals but the bullying is tough to watch. I need to reread this when I’m done with all the episodes.
He was growing on me, surprisingly. Maybe he really does have charisma. But I don’t think I’ll miss him that much.
For some reason I was having problems feeling this episode right until the end but just like Richmond, they pulled it together and scored in my heart.
What a fun little show, which I find so strange now that I’d never seen any of it before. The Mary Poppins vibe seems like it totally would’ve been my jam. And of course I’m now wondering how many references there were in Fran’s show that I missed for not having seen this.
Even with the way he looks here, you can’t deny that Palpatine has charisma.
We hit the ground running, literally, in the opening scene of the season two premiere, but it kind of stalls out afterwards.
I don’t think I’ve been as stressed out about a Bob’s Burgers episode as this one. I mean I know that they were gonna be fine, but it was still anxiety inducing.
I feel like Whoopi was kind of wasted here. She needed a bit of a meatier role.
You went and did it again, making me all choked up during a touching paternal scene.
