3 Body Problem

Two episodes in and I find this compelling and better than the Chinese version (in terms of pacing). If you're a scifi fan looking for new ideas and concepts to expand your horizons then this is definitely right up your alley.

The Creator

Good visuals, boring plot with stupid characters and stupid dialog.

Monsters of California

Unfortunately, it doesn't quite hit the mark. The movie seems to approach the UFO phenomenon from a rather misguided perspective. It's as if the narrative is being driven by a religious fanatic's viewpoint, which doesn't really serve to enlighten or entertain. The acting is passable, but nothing to write home about, and the storyline feels scattered and lacks cohesion. In short, it's a mediocre offering in a genre that has so much potential for intrigue and excitement.

Moonhaven

Moonhaven presents intriguing ideas, and it explores some deep philosophical questions, such as what it means to be human, and what is the best way to live in harmony with nature and each other. The show deserved better recognition and appreciation. The ratings don’t reflect how good it was.

No One Will Save You

Bold and ambitious experiment from writer-director Brian Duffield, who uses almost no dialogue throughout the entire film. The silence creates a haunting and oppressive atmosphere, as well as a challenge for the actors and the audience. Dever delivers a remarkable performance, conveying a range of emotions and motivations with only her facial expressions and body language. She makes us care for her character, even when we don’t know much about her backstory. The movie also succeeds in creating a sense of dread and suspense, as the aliens are unpredictable.

Landscape with Invisible Hand

Exceptional Critique of Capitalism
Landscape with Invisible Hand is a brilliant satire that exposes the flaws and failures of capitalism in a dystopian setting. The film shows how the Vuvv exploit the human population for their own benefit, while offering them false promises and cheap entertainment. It also explores the themes of art, love, class, and resistance, as Adam and Chloe struggle to find meaning and dignity in their lives. The film does not shy away from showing the dark and depressing aspects of living in a world where everything is commodified and controlled by a powerful elite. We are therefore challenged to question our own role and responsibility in a system that oppresses and dehumanizes others.

ONE PIECE

So much heart and soul! I'm not an anime fan so I went into this blind and I was thoroughly impressed. Looking forward to season 2!

Great end to a good season!
I kind of knew that at some point someone is going to "have to go back"

Best episode so far, I'm beginning to connect with these characters.

Fear the Walking Dead

I think I'm gonna stop at season 4. First 3 seasons were ok, but now it's become boring and characters keep making stupid mistakes just to drive the plot. And Morgan is the most naïve character I have ever seen on TV.

The Big Door Prize

A decent dramedy with decent acting but I understand the low ratings. I stuck with it waiting for the big reveal at the end I was disappointed.

From: 2x06 Pas de Deux

I don't care what anyone says, I love this show! And honestly I don't think there will be a big reveal that explains what the hell is going on, I think it will end similar to how "Lost" ended, with even more questions.

Silo: 1x05 The Janitor's Boy

First episode was really good but since then it's become extremely boring. Turned from an intriguing dystopian scifi into a whodunit murder mystery.
