Unfortunately I’m not a computer gamer, and thought I’d try this anyway. Turns out after just one episode I can see why I’m not a fan of. Absolute garbage.
watching this is like watching cute paint dry (it's cute, but it's also just paint drying)
I don't get what this show is trying to be? A comedy? Drama? The tone feels like that Netflix show Space Force, we're supposed to laugh but it's just not funny.
Nice show. Good humor. I hope there is a season 2.
I have not played the game, but I find the TV series most gripping.
They usually cancel these kinds of shows, don't they??
I like it overall.
What I don't understand is why an advanced civilization spends all their resources on building arks, travelling 400 years and seeking out contact with another species instead of building a Dyson sphere or ring in a single solar system next door. Why is the first contact a singular entity warning her and later it's a hivemind with shared thoughts?
i read and loved the book. never watched the Chinese version.netflix one is very promising after 2 episodes. i enjoyed it a lot. the book maybe slow paced at times, the series adaptation is really good. worth the wait.
Nearly stopped watching after Episode 1+2 were a snoozefest.
Very glad I didn't.
Glory Candy or Candy Hole ?
Best interpretation of a chicken I have ever seen in a TV show
7 hours of Guy Ritchie and a bunch of crazy british gangsters. What more could you want?
So, it was basically Eternal Sunshine of the "Pink-Spotted" Mind.
Not bad, but definitely not really worth the watch.
Just found this on netflix and ended up getting through it very fast. I found the way they handled the underlying addiction topic to be fantastic, as they represent it pretty accurately. This was a hidden gem for me, and my only complaint was how season 3 ended in 2020, and it is now 2024 with no update...
What a freaking beautiful show with intelligent dialogues, brilliant humor and verve.
And almost no one seems to know it. Of course. That's what I thought. Busy watching shallow superhero stuff, I guess. Open your eyes for the real gems, people.
It completely surpasses the previous season, acting, costumes, stories, plots . It takes the right direction for each character and this season we were able to get to know them more in many situations that did not end well (Larry, Marian, Oscar, Gladis) but they built more rounded characters. Of course I'm waiting for season 3.
So will this entire series just be about Master Chief "fighting the man"?
Can't they have the aliens be the interesting part of the story instead of this old "everyone in charge is literally evil people"??
The VFX is top notch , but sadly this is a show for kids. So , it has way too much plot armour, predictable storylines and very mature dialogues from little kids.
If you're fine with that , you'll probably like this.
Just watched the first 2 episodes. it's nothing special. Really average, maybe even below average..
i don't know how, but this series just fails to capture my interest. the narrative seems very choppy
Yeah, I'm gonna skip this one.
Fantastic and unpredictable turn of events. What a rebellious episode.
Average episode rating for this season: 7.7916666…
Despite a few plots that didn't land, Frasier mostly hit a real stride in season 3.
So much time wasted in watching people walk, eat, sleep, stare, etc. and only get 10 mins of actual story progression. You can literally skip 90% of this episode and you wont miss anything.
I was kinda liking that new guy, from the workers who screwed over ilya, and this episode he was less than a background character... Hope they're not just done with his storyline.
Sad if they are.
Thank god Danny is gone for sure, but... did the dwindling food scenes before that scene mean that they ate him?
The rare episode that is strong to me because of, not despite, the characters' drama. They even manage to make me feel bad for Dev with that scene between him and Kelly. And the confrontation between Ed and Danielle has been years in the making that it's so cathartic.
Possibly up there as one of the best episodes of the series, definitely the darkest.
Just when you think you hit rock bottom with Black Adam and Wonder Woman 84, DC find a way to disappoint you even more. This was awful. I'm heartbroken at how terribly these characters have been portrayed. Terrible writing. Terrible direction. Terrible acting. Terrible VFX. Everyone phoned it in on this movie.
