Never into musicals but I am liking this show. It is fun and different and makes me laugh. The singing is entertaining and sounds good. I hope the ratings increase so that they will keep making it. Probably one the few shows I look forward to anymore.
Wow, the second half of this episodes just warms my heart so much.
This movie was honestly better than expected. It had a strong storyline, believable characters, and some decent suspense thrown in. (Which is a reminder that you don't need gore to have a decent Halloween horror story.)
Worse than I thought possible. Aggressively absurd and arrogant. Places a puzzle where a plot should be. Substitutes concepts for characters. Painfully pretentious. Even when you figure it out, it's not worth the effort.
Crossovers are the best thing mankind has ever created. HOLY SHIT. The hype in that episode of Flash. We finally get to hear what was in that message of Future Flash. And everybody losing it over Barry fucking up the timeline. Loved Oliver's speech though. Flash and Arrow, best bros for life <3 Cisco blaming Barry because he changed the timeline. I mean I get it, he did lose his brother but it's like Oliver said, would he seriously not try to change the timeline if he could? Would he seriously not try to save his Mom and Dad if they were dead? I distinctly remember him asking Barry to change the timeline at the start of the season xD
The action stuff this week was absolutely hype. So glad to have Thea in the team. I missed Speedy :D
So excited for tomorrow's episode of Arrow :D
I can't take this show anymore! Please someone tell these stupid girls how to make a backup of damn serious information on a usb stick...
this episode really got trakt transphobes out of their cages huh
And finally .... it’s over!
You have to admire Noé for the way he just fucks with conventions as he pleases and stages lengthy camera rides just for the fun of it. The film sets up a huge cast of dancers pulling off some crazy vogue shit and lets them slowly but surely decend into a feverish hell. I was not without doubts while watching this( and he does let his bad boy hang out) but I ended up just enjoy the hypnotic ride. It's definitly nothing substantial but a big step up from "LOVE".
Major improvement from prior season. I like how it ended up. Was it where i wanted the characters to be? No. But, it sure wasn't a letdown. Jessica Jones and her abrasive tone will be missed.
It's really disappointing how they've managed to take a premise with so much potential and make it into something so profoundly dull. How many episodes have we spent in flashbacks so far? Too many. The season's called Apocalypse, we all came here for the Apocalypse, enough with the pre-Apocalypse already.
Some spoiler-heavy observations from this episode:
- Why does this show insist on making the cast sing all the time. This is not normal.
- You know your town has a problem when the cheer-leading team has an alternate uniform for funerals.
- "He OD'd on jingle jangle" is the DUMBEST line of dialogue ever uttered in a drama series.
- Betty HAD A GUN and did nothing to stop and finally end the Black Hood. I understand that was the only way to get rid of Chic easily, but that's still poor motivation considering how hard Betty fought to catch the Black Hood for most of the season.
- All signs point to Mr. Cooper as the Black Hood now. Not sure if it's a red herring, but that seems once again to be the obvious culprit considering the clues (knowing about the Nancy Drew codebook for instance). With Clifford Blossom last season and now potentially Hal as the murderous evil-doers, I think this show's writers might have some daddy issues.
i cant even put into words how much i love this show and how happy it makes me
Annalise: I caught Wes and Nate together last night.
Frank: Screwing?
Annalise: No, working together behind my back.
Our name is West-Allen and we are the fastest couple alive. To the outside world, we are a happy couple, but secretly with the help of our non-communication we fight crime and repress our feelings. In an attempt to understand what happened over six months, we got an appointment for couple's therapy and we saw all the problems that we have. But we won't let that happen. Barry's gonna do everything in his power to listen to me, and we're the only ones fast enough to solve our drama. We are the Flash.
Moonlight won the Oscar and gets all 9/10 or 10/10.
Wow I thought, I have to watch it !
Well, good acting and everything very well done, but this movie is SOOO SLOW !!!
Seriously ? 9/10 ?
Way too slow to get a decent vote in my humble opinion.
Am realizing that lots of movies that get a perfect score are boring as hell !
I think everyone can learn a thing or two from this show...the writing is kinda corny but most of the episodes have me, a twenty one year old, tearing up a bit from the content
WTF was that ?
How the hell a crappy movie like this gets 8.0 in IMDB ???
The whole movie is extremely slow , almost nothing happens during the plot line .
The main character is the emotional equivalent of shoe. His expression is always the same , and he does not react to anything.
The plot line consist more of the main character staring at the wall then of him driving.
This movie is a total waste of time.
It's alright. Definitely not WandaVision levels and nowhere near the same hype for the next episode. It's only the first episode, though
Writers, what are you doing? Harvey would be the absolute last person to willingly go exploring creepy mine tunnels. Not only did he have that trauma from seeing the Dark Lord down there, but his brother died in that mine what has to be mere months ago. It makes no sense whatsoever.
Respect your audience enough to be true to the characters you've created. The writing has been really crappy this season.
Mona has been a terrific addition and single-handedly made the B-plot better than the A in this one. (Although Hank fanboying all over Hemingway wasn't bad, either.)
The first four episodes of this season of Agents of SHIELD have been a bit on the boring side, outside of the Fitz reveal in the last episode. This episode that takes place mostly in the current time was much more engaging and entertaining. I really enjoyed seeing the return of Lance Hunter (though, it is sad that Bobbi didn't make a comeback also).
I am a bit saddened to see that the next episode returns us to the future where things are bleak, dark and boring. This episode marks a high point for this season.
And hey, Marvel and ABC Studios, give Nick Blood's Lance Hunter his own show already. He has proven to be one of the most entertaining characters in Agents of SHIELD and things haven't been the same without him.
Another great episode, loving the dynamics between both Donnie and Helena and Donnie and Alison. I wonder what Felix' storyline has coming our way.
Pretty average episode with a very obvious resolution for the case against Liz. It was nice though that they showed the cop who was investigating her as a good person. We tend to care for protagonists enough to not see what they do wrong and often the people against them are portrayed as the bad ones (aka we love Walter White and hate Skyler) so, this cop, who is just doing his job very well and is a nice guy is a good twist.
Somehow this episode was lacking. Sure, it didn't have that much "action" in it and was rather focused on Hannibal and Bedelia and their relationship instead. Still, something was off. The long shots on details, like dropping blood from the nose of a rabbit or the water from the faucet felt kinda out of place. That's weird as those are a trademark so to speak of Hannibal.
Maybe it would have been better to try to establish the new location or rather the new circumstances first/in the first half, these are very different to before.
I am sure, the upcoming episodes will deal with the relationship between those two in more detail but as it is in this episode I am not too happy how it opened the season. It's not a bad episode but given the previous two seasons it's just lacking.
