Awwww… what a Lovely story. I'm going to miss the cast, the acting, and the plot.
I really like how they played the dementia plot device. There is a [fictional] theory that dementia, and a few others, are actually caused by multiple timelines. In this [fictional] theory, or trope, the cause of the dementia is either:
(1) the person has some sort of strong protection against timeline changes, so when they catch-up to the origin time of the time traveler, all those memories floods in and they get confused, and the brain goes on self-preservation mode by only remembering the stable years; and
(2) as a person grows older and our body functions get weaker, people start to access the experiences and memories of their counterparts in other timelines. Since they are technically the same person (i.e. just a split timeline), they are quantum-entangled. If all of their versions gets dementia at around the same time, the more they are quantum-entangled (aside: quantum entanglement is a real physics science). Thus the person seems to “know”.

That was a very good, heartfelt series finale!
Wow. I love that house of the FL. It gives a very peaceful ambiance. Very natural, wooden, not too much on modern stuff. A very good balance for our soul.
Prime example of:
1. Useless English title.
2. Wrong marketing message.
The original Japanese and Korean titles are MORE ACCURATE. The English title «Goodbye Earth» sets the wrong expectations, which leads to disappointment from the audiences.
Secondly, they marketed it as sci-fi and apocalyptic when it has nothing to do with those other than as a literary device to set the stage for the story. It is a life and social story, nothing sci-fi, nothing “let's try to save the Earth and show world unity”.
They should've simply translated the original Japanese and Korean titles, which are the same. Whoever thought that it is appropriate to give it a different English title, did not even bother to watch the series or check the original source material.
Wrong marketing + Wrong title = setting the wrong expectations = massive disappointment for many.
Such a waste.
It's so sad that the final episode is this week.
This was a very fun show, and it was educational, too. I simply love it. They were natural, less on role-playing certain characters. I also love how in some episodes, they interacted with other campers, even if just briefly. They can expand on that if they'll make S02.
The editing was good as well. Focusing on the food, how it's cooked. Taking in the scenes and they presented it well from various points. If they'll make S02, they can also add board game activities, or its equivalent in Korean camping culture.
I hope to see the other SNSD members in S02 if ever they will make one. And yeah, I kept on saying S02 because this show deserves to have S02.
«Frankly Speaking» («비밀은 없어») is basically the K-drama reinterpretation of Jim Carrey's «Liar Liar». If you've watched the latter and enjoyed it, watch «Frankly Speaking», a Korean take on the same idea with an Asian romcom touch.
Well, I did say I'll give them a free 10 stars if I see at least one easter egg related to bugs, and 1 star if none.
I didn't see any so 1 star for Season 1. If they add one in Season 2, then they'll get a free 10 stars for it. :wink:
Come on. It's not Fallout if there are no bugs. I can think a lot of ways to insert those easter eggs without affecting the plot. You can even make some scenes and dialogues funny while at it
Now, before you cry about it, I rated each episode fairly.
As of this post, I just finished S01E01. There is still hope to see at least a single bug.
If I don't see one, I'm going to give it a 1 rating for failing to add a very funny easter egg for fans of the franchise. I mean, come on, can you call it Fallout without a single bug? :p
Another story based on real life relationships that is grossly misunderstood. People calling the writer "dumb" and "should quit and get a psychiatrist", and dismissing the couple as "unrealistic", especially the ending.
Like it or not. The story, and ending, of the main characters happened and happens in real life. It is also NOT unrealistic to be friends with your exes.
The writer did well. It is those with a narrow view of the world who should get a psychiatrist because they are living in their own little fantasy dream and want to force everyone to fit in it.
To sum up, either pen your own story and produce your own drama (good luck with that), or, go watch a Disney fairy tale instead. (Or, get a psychiatrist for that matter so you'll learn to tell a fantasy dream from reality.)
There are only 10 episodes. Once again, TMDB got it right and TVDB got it wrong. I don't know why #Trakt and #SIMKL keep on using TVDB, it's very unreliable. There was even one show before that was already correct, but some #TVDB editor decided to add 2 fake episodes, and it messed everything.
Stick to #TMDB. TMDB is far more accurate, and it is easier to edit if there are corrections.
The series finale was rushed. They could've extended it up to E08, and left us with an awesome two-episode series finale.
A lot of questions were also left unanswered. There were also inconsistencies. I blame the decision to cancel it, the creator more likely had to cut a lot of stuff, thus, it ended this way.
I can't wait for this. I want to see this Western adaptation of the novel and compare it with the 2023 adaptation made by Tencent (China).
So:
Was she still dreaming?
Did the past change?
Or, they showed us an alternate timeline wherein she made a different choice?

We need more shows like this, tackling mental health and social issues. It is informative, educational, and timeless.
I delayed watching ep679 because it's a farewell episode for Jeon So Min, but it is unavoidable as farewells are a part of our lives.
To Miss So Min, thank you for all the laughter you've given us through Running Man. We will definitely miss your unique comedy in the show. As you have said, it was a dream come true for you and congratulations, you did amazing for 7 years!
Keep looking forward as life still has a lot in store for you. Whatever the reason was why you have to bid farewell, remember always to be happy. Family, health, and happiness is a right of every human being.

Episode 01 was great. It showed the things that happen in real life that most people choose to ignore. The things that happen that people turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to, like those bystanders who just watched someone else's boy be bitten to death by an adult.
While this episode depicts physical child abuse, so there is evidence and all that. Don't be mistaken dear readers, there are a hundred ways of child abuse, especially from parents. Right from their HOMES where supposedly there should be love.
It saddens me deeply that the majority of comments and reactions I've read about the premiere episode failed to see this problem and instead focused on the actors and shipping and the entertainment value.
Episode 01 is loaded.
They better make a spin-off for the Momo Tribe led by Karika Xabara (played by KARATA Erika (唐田えりか)). In both Seasons 01 and 02, her appearance was the most awaited, and yet in both she was only a guest playing an epic and mysterious character from an equally epic and mysterious tribe.
If they kept her appearances short because they're planning to have a spin-off, then that's good. Otherwise, they missed to capitalised on the character, the tribe, and the actress.
Hey! Where's the next season? The story is not over! Let's kick the CIA next! ROFLMAO!
Another good show ended.
I'm going to miss Kim so Hyun as Sol Hee. She did a great job in portraying the-girl-next-door then turned very cute and lovely girlfriend. I wonder, is she like that in real life? She sure knows how to deliver it. ^_~

Series finale = a different kind of heart-wrenching ending. It was so painful.
I just watched the ending part twice now, and I still can't imagine myself willing to let go of all those memories. It is what made who we are today. It defined our life. The decisions and directions we took. The love and relationships that gave us strength to push on despite the hardships in life.
Memories are everything.
Without those memories, then you become a totally different person. And for those people who still have their memories of you intact, it will be very hard for them when they see you. They will have to treat you as a person who got into an accident and had memory loss.
Familiar with real-life stories where a person loss memories before they met their spouse/bf/gf? It's not the person that finds it hard, it is those who remembers. If they choose to tell you the memories you've lost, that's the only time it will be harder for the person. Like in those real-life cases where they're already married. But if you're just bf/gf, you can still end it and have a fresh start… if you want to.

That was… an anti-climatic ending. It's lacking in so many ways. We can probably blame it on the unfortunate compressed season. They want to tell a lot of things, they want to put a closure on a lot of things.
Then again, the number of episodes doesn't really matter. Look at #Fringe and the #12Monkeys. Those two were cancelled and had a shorter finale season, yet they ended with a bang. I've watched the entire Fringe franchise like 7, 8 now? I lost count. And I've watched the 12 Monkeys 3 times now, and looking forward to watching it the 4th time this year.
And, this franchise of Flash? As much as Flash is my favourite DC character, only up to Season 5 is worth re-watching. 6, 7, 8, fine, we can probably push it. But Season 9? Nah, especially not this franchise finale episode.
I'm sorry, but it is what it is.
I like how it ended and where it led: FAMILY.
I wonder how many understood the reference “The sun is getting bigger”.
The title should've been “Ghost Taxi”, or something like “Wish Taxi”.
Either way, to summarise the 12-episode series: he is no longer a virgin.
Hahahahahaha. No, seriously, that's the comedy part. Mind you, it's understandable why… but still it is funny in this context.

Wow. The best episode I've seen in 2023. Perfect editing, scene order, and sequences. Not overboard, not lacking. That ending, the song, the car scene, the sunset, and most especially, the scene going back to the room through the window = wonderfully made! Perfect!
This is actually promising. Episode 1 and 2 were your typical setting the stage and introduction. They could've turned those two episodes into big ones. Regardless, it's the ending of episode 2 which finally convinced me to keep watching. So, yeah, let's see how it goes.
Where is Season 2?!! We want it now! ^_^
