LEEEEROY JENKINS!!!! Never thought I ever would see a guy scream this in a show and run into a room full of baddies.
Would be an ok episode were it not for:
so where are all those ppl that were saying "sally is the worst person on this show" NOW jw
I like the period, the first moments of the Empire. With sixteen episodes in total I hope we get a lot of world building aside from the main story.
Anyone else thinks Hunter looks a lot like Rambo ? I Don't think it's intentional, though.
Two episodes in and I’m already convinced by the end of the season this will be regarded in the same vein as GOT, Chernobyl, and Breaking Bad are one of the best shows there ever was. This is some seriously impeccable television.
I feel bad hating on such a small detail, but as a native French speaker, when both of those guys were supposedly speaking french it was super hard to understand them.
"Frenchie" has a really thick foreign accent (I think the actor is actually Israeli) and the "random goon" has a really thick french-canadian accent. It was a real strain to make out anything they were saying, lol.
Why is everybody complaining? It’s an awesome show. If you want to see some aliens, watch the countless shows about alien invasions - there are many.
But this one…is different. And that’s good. It’s about the people, not about the aliens.
This was so much fun, but doing all that great work setting up the reintroduction of Kingpin only to [pretend to] kill him off in his first episode back is some bullshit.
I loved this ending so much, This is definitely gonna annoy some people, they don't like the Transcendence stuff, I am not big fan, but it was a bit heart-warming to see them all together in the end of the sow. I believe at the end of their lives Clarke will die and go somewhere else but The rest will transcend. I hope the prequel will answer remaining questions but I have enjoyed it. A bittersweet ending as I expected for a phenomenal, heart wrenching, survival post apocalyptic show like this. The fighting is over, no more war. May we meet again.
I AM CRYING :sob::sob::sob::sob: WHAT A PERFECT END!!!!
The fact the transcendence it's a choice, and they choose to stay on Earth so they could live together for the rest of their lives is just so touching! Madi didn't choose to get back, but even so, was understandable.
That scene with Octavia "ENOUGH!!!!" OCTAVIA IS THE BEST THAT THIS SHOW HAS TO OFFER! The scene where all the humans turned into beings of light was so beautiful and the soundtrack was so thrilling. I will miss that show so much!!! MAY WE MEET AGAIN
I loved the endind so much.
If you watch just one episode of "Mythic Quest," make it this one. You don't even need to watch the pilot to understand it as it's 100% standalone. Just keep in mind the rest of the show is in a very different tone.
This particular episode is a heartfelt meditation on the power of a creative vision and how time threatens it. It's also really well acted and written. Funny, bittersweet, and surprising.
I gotta wonder if maybe this is the show the creators wanted to make from the get-go but had to compromise their vision until it became "Mythic Quest"...
Not cool that everyone is trying to get Nancy and Steve back together. When Jonathan isn’t around.
Isn't Ben supposed to be the brains here? He was able to phone call Kristen and David yet didn't think of messaging them instructions on how to find him?!
I was so worried they weren't going to be able to answer all the questions and wrap it up perfectly in this final episode but man I couldn't have asked for anything better! The reunion scenes with Alice in the woods as well as later with her brother are so emotional and I'm so glad the episode didn't end at the cabin but continued after to show Gerrick's questioning, the butcher's release from prison, Baptiste's surgery etc. Those scenes in the woods were so suspenseful too, really superb acting and writing -- I can only hope they bring this show back again for another story; I'd happily wait another 2 years.
This episode made my Star-Wars-loving wife really happy, and that's all that I care about.
I loved the lightsaber fight, and the audio engineering on Darth/Anakin's voice. Awesome.
Getting sick of all the toxic so called Star Wars fans. I grew up with the prequels, and I actually really enjoy these series.
A very good first half of the finale with some unexpected twist. Although I was wondering why the Batch never entertained the idea of infiltrating as regular troopers. Now I know.
Very cool to see Krennic and the mention of Project Stardust.
Haven't read the book, but this show is absolutely fantastic.
I'm glad they decided to keep "No Pun Intended: Vol Too" in this adaptation. Terrible jokes but its nice to see them laugh every now and then.
This Armond and Dylan situation made me uncomfortable. The whole thing felt very rapey, inappropriate and creepy. Armond coerced Dylan into having sex and had to drugged him first. I don’t have a problem with them hooking up but it's very obvious Armond is in a position of power and took advantage. And if he did the exact same thing to a young female employee, Twitter would have been on fire because it's inappropriate to joke about such things. I'm surprised this isn't being talked about more.
Shane and his mom chanting "money money money!" at the dinner table. Shane’s mom is right about nonprofit jobs. Did Rachel and Shane have a 10 minutes conversation before getting married? It seems like Rachel is surprised the person she married is such an obnoxious, terrible human being.
It's really hard to say who is the worst person in this series. Like, reaaally hard.
The terrifying part of this is that there are so many alive now who would stand to defend him despite the preponderance of evidence and the weight of history. My soul weeps.
It went amazingly fast. I did not see that hour go by. What a great episode!
I still don't think that was a good explanation for what Harriet did.
Despite all the gore and splatter, this episode shows this is still about the characters. And that's why this show keeps being amazing.
I hope A-Train doesn't revert to being a Vaught pawn. It would destroy his developement. Loved the parts with Black Noir. Butcher's really a major prick but why didn't Annie just send Hughie a message instead of trying to call him again and again ?
So, Homelander is Soldier Boy's son, eh ? So, will that mean they team up ? Since there is a forth season coming they need an angle for that. I wouldn't like another season of "how do we get rid of Homalander". On the other hand if they would team up they would be basically unstoppable so that should actually be avoided.
Should be a very interesting finale.
I absolutely loved the really inappropriate song at the end and the funny spoof tv show of The Deep at the beginning. This show has always been about parodying superhero culture and corporate America, but this season is reaching new highs.
Kind of funny how they prey to a pagan god (Hecate) while fighting "the pagans".
A bit precision between the different pagan realms would have been nice...
