a masterpiece... you just can't put it out in words...
An absolute masterpiece. No other words.
"A place was made for you, Abigail, in this world. It was the only place I could make for you."
The heartache. So devastatingly beautiful.
Oh thank fuck for that. Because based off last weeks uneven season opener...
Eagerly waiting for Christmas for only this, long time SH.. long time.
Just finished watching the pilot and I have to say, WOW!! This show is so much better than other sci-fi/space related shows that came out earlier this year. The first show has gripped me and I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the reason. Do NOT pass this up. Must watch even if you aren't a fan of space related shows!!
"It's just a flying saucer, Ed. We gotta go." lol, Peggy kills me.
Literally perfect. How do I even go back to other TV shows now?
It's just not the same anymore... An "ok" action flick without a trace of Bond, just like the previous Craig's Bonds.
every passing day this film only gets more current...
CGI is SO crap...
Ms Grant is the best character
Melissa Benoist is a fantastic leading lady. Loving the tone of this show so far.
sometimes i think moffat is the reason of what's happening but then i remember how good 11's arc was. then i think maybe its twelve or peter capaldi but he's really magnificent! is it clara or jenna? i dont think so thEN WHATS THE PROBLEM? WHY DOESNT IT FEEL RIGHT?!!?!
Fifteen years passed and it still keeps in tension :)
Fifteen years passed and it still keeps in tension :)
The acting in this episode is shit, someone really should have kept Maisie Williams away from those flames, that degree of wooden acting is a health and safety nightmare.
It’s often daunting to come to a classic film and try to explain why it works so well. Obvious elements spring to mind - the peerless design work, both of the central creature and the sets themselves; the beautifully haunting score; the creation of one of the greatest female action heroes; the perfect pace of the film (slightly spoilt by the Director’s Cut, but the original edit still shines); the “birth” of the creature that may have lost its ability to surprise over time, but still horrifies largely down to the performances that sell this moment so well; the masterful build-up of tension as each character confronts their fate. But, more importantly, this is simply a story that is well told and a reminder of how powerful an experience film can be when all the elements come together so perfectly. Is it any wonder that Alien has been oft-imitated, parodied and copied, but rarely bettered, if at all?
Annalises way of handling things: don't tell anyone anything until they get paranoid and do something stupid.
Just you watch, by the end of this season someones gonna do something stupid and all she had to do was talk to them for 30 sec to prevent it.
Watching one of my favorite shows crash and burn is sad. Dreck. 4th terrible episode in a row.
Sonic sunglasses? I hope we are fucking joking.
Up until the end it was a very bad episode, it improved just a little at the end. Barely watchable.
It hurts me to say it, but with the current cast and screenplays DW is just garbage. Not worth my time. Such a shame, as there were some brilliant episodes in the past.
Apart from some seriously cheesy one liners and some anticlimactic scenes, it was a great premiere!
One of the best science fiction movie, the story is great and full of possible science facts, the actors are really convincing, the direction is perfect. If you are a science fiction lover, this movie is a must.
I need to stop hate-watching these ridiculously stupid shows.
Thank god it's finally over.
This is one of the worst series of the last couple of years. The plot and the acting is as bad as it gets. Honestly it made me wonder about my tv addiction cause I gave it a chance for a complete season. 2 Eps into season 2 it got even worse and I bailed...
The fifth installment in this franchise is the best one yet, with a compelling plot, a Bond-esque super villain, and the intense action set pieces that Cruise does better than anyone.
I've really enjoyed this franchise so far (other than one less than stellar film) and damn, this film carries everything on. Honestly, one of the main reasons I love the franchise is probably because they are so similar to the 007 franchise. Instead, these are a bit more light with jokes and, obviously, American. Except they spend some time in the UK this time.
Anyway, yea, about this specific film. Great action. I mean look at this photo because it was awesome. Specifically though, the car/motorcycle race in here is just so engaging and fun. I've got to say, Tom Cruise might be crazy, but he is a great action star.
