So rushed. And that ending... ReLIFE? More like ReYourName.
Dried seaweed ftw. No doubt. #TeamSeaweed
By far one of my favorite episodes featuring Shawn SpenSTAR and Gus TT "Showbiz". A classic.
"RAAAAAAAAAMPAGE!!!!!!!!!!!"
At some point in my life, I do want to view a full, unadulterated copy of "Terms of Enrampagement".
Oh. My. Lord. I don't know if my heart could have taken anymore Iroha after this OVA... The Iroha-overload was just glorious. Best girl among a sea of Best girls.
Nice little segway episode here. It covered a good deal of the slower build-up material from the manga and basically sets up the last couple episodes as just EPIC BANGERS (trust me on this one). My body is so riddy for this last part. Mob is gonna Mob so hard with a special appearance by the "legend" himself as well.
Ok. That was badass. F'n Super Saiyan Bell right there. He's going to slay so much pussy in the near future after that showing.
Masterpiece!! Suna, you are the f'n man/best blue ogre. I'm so glad that this part wasn't dragged out for episodes on episodes.
Damn. They really skipped a ton of content at the end. I hope that Season 2 will go over it all before diving into the Shadow World. The anime adaptation was alright. Not bad, but nothing great. If you were intrigued by the story and characters, I'd HIGHLY recommend checking out and reading the Light/Web Novel. They go into so much more detail and the entire story is one heck of a ride. After watching the first episode when it aired, I went ahead and read the entire series TWICE because it was so good. I prefer the light/web novel over the manga version because it covers so many details especially with regards to Desir and his analyses/abilities/reasoning that just can't be captured in anime or manga form. I definitely recommend other fans give it a read.
Run, if you value your life...
The frenzy has begun...
The moon is red...
We're out of time...
I LOVE the manga (especially the latest chapter where we finally got to learn about Twilight's childhood and father) and I've been so pumped for this adaptation. I really enjoyed the first episode and I liked how they didn't rush it at all. Almost everything from the mang chapter was covered. Anya sounds absolutely adorable and I'm really looking forward to how she is once she gets a bit more confident and is goofing off in the academy with "Sy-on boy" :D
Very surprised by how good and faithful this adaptation has been so far. Bravo to Zero-G. I've gotten used to the slightly different base character design art but the "Titan faces" are perfect, so no need to worry! VAs are pretty solid so far, and I can't wait till more of the characters are introduced. The comedic timing was pretty good and I'm excited to see how more of the manga is adapted.
As for those "worried" about the humor or jokes getting stale, don't worry too much. This is the first episode and they've only introduced a few of the characters, so there isn't much else to rely upon until we really get into the main story arc that is to come. If the anime follows the manga faithfully (which it looks like it will), the character development, relationships and dynamics will get much more fleshed out and you'll learn to love these characters (faults and all) like I have.
Anyway, can't wait for the Miss Izu arc to start next!!!!
So dank. The start of The Battle on Rakuyo arc has begun and it's already epic. I'm glad that they picked up right where they left off with Utsuro just continuing to beast on everyone. I'm liking the new team-ups that will happen and, of course, seeing Kagura's mom for the first time (from the OP/ED hints). Nobume is also looking mighty fine in her new getup, if I may so myself ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
As strictly just an anime-watcher of Gintama, I don't know how long this arc will be but I am ready to be blown away.
This new season is so much better than Toei's previous abomination. I love the edginess (and badassness) of Haruka and Michiru so far. A very nice Hotaru and Chibi-Usa moment in this episode as well along with Minako making for one hilarious idol fan ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

And with the official release of the OP, "New Moon ni Koishite", I am one happy fan.
Well... Holy. Fucking. Shit. I have no other words for this episode. Gintama, BRA-fucking-VO.
I finally got around to finishing this classic shoujo romance. The first season was superb and I loved Sawako's hilarious interactions and realistic growth throughout it. On the other hand, the second season was a bit of a letdown during the first half especially with some of the horrible miscommunication and confusion between Sawako and Shota that just seemed a little too over-the-top. However, the last 4 episodes really end the series on a great note and you feel the "magic" (of love) again.
All you need to know is that Sawako/Sadako = love. Watch it. Enjoy it. Love it.
This episode was definitely not as strong as last week's but I like Welf. I kind of wish that his background story had a bit more to it like Lili's but perhaps that will come later. Him and Bell already have a solid bromance budding though. Hestia 'bout to get jealous.
Hmmmm. Don't really know what to think of this so far. It's only one episode so the only thing that has been established is the setting. There really is no semblance of a plot right now and I'm struggling to see what kind of interesting plot will develop. The characters are just ok so far but at least the goddess is cute (although I feel like she is just a few episodes away from becoming very annoying).
Come on Kousei...
You... can... do...
Oh gawd...

Just want to say that the second cour of the anime was WAY better than the first. The show definitely started out very slow (which was compounded a bit more if you were watching it while it was airing like I was) and definitely had some pacing issues. However, about halfway through the first cour things started to get interesting and really picked up. After that, there was no more looking back and the anime series as a whole really hit its stride.
I enjoyed how the second season was able to touch upon a lot of different elements within the kingdom, especially later. In particular, I really liked the final episode and how things ended (not gonna spoil it). I'd love to see more from this series as the light novel and manga are pretty popular still, but they did stop at a pretty good point at the end of this season.
Loved this first episode. Satania's VA (from Gabriel Dropout) is just perfect for Jahy. I love her voice especially when she's in chibi form. I'm looking forward to having the other characters added, and of course, more battles with the "landlord". Lol.
YES! This was the episode that I was waiting for with the perfect Koyanagi-Kabakura moment(s) at the end. It was one of my favorite scenes from the manga and adapted very well here as well. I just love the way Kabakura calls her a "cow" with no hesitation. Amazing to have to have 2 great couples in just one show.

Also, they had the Sailor Moon R/DBZ bit in the beginning which is just absolute gold. One of my favorite shorts from the manga as well.

Wow. Completely blown away by this OVA/special. So heartwarming and heartbreaking. Legitimately the best episode of the series.
Wow. This was by far the best Madao-centered episode so far. Usually things always end up totally depressing for Hasegawa at the end, but this episode was fantastic. It stuck with the Madao theme but really made him into a hero at the end. So gewd.
This show is so amazing. The parodies are spot on. I totally felt their pain at the end with dat crystal staff x2.
Chibi-Mai is glorious as always. It was great to see the Pilaf gang again. Looks like we're finally getting some action next episode with SSJ3 Goku vs Beerus. The serious danking is about to begin.
Loved it even though it was pretty cliché. I don't care. We all knew that Yuu was gonna be a badass but the Yoichi conflict was pretty well done. It just breaks my heart when lolis get killed and Yoichi's sister seemed like a fine young woman...
I'm super pumped for the next episode as it looks like the twin-tailed brown/blonde haired girl is being introduced (Mitsuba Sanguu according to MAL). My body has been ready ever since I saw her in the OP.
The loli vampire queen has officially arrived. All is right in the world.
Ok. I take it back. Hestia is pure gold and won't get annoying. EVER.
And don't blame her for not giving Bell the knife yet. She's got a tit ribbon and knife in a cloth tied to her back. You don't want her to take off the wrong thing. Or do we... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
