Bran: I can never be Lord of Winterfell, I can never be Lord of anything, I'm the Three-eyed Raven.
Also Bran: I'm the King.
I thought that the movie was just alright until the last third where shit just went crazy. Just like Mima, I couldn't tell what was real or not. This was definitely a unique and awesome mindfuck. Satoshi Kon (Paprika, Millennium Actress, Paranoia Agent) is without a doubt a master of the psychological thriller genre. I just wish that he could have gotten the chance to create many more films.
Oh god. This show is so amazing. Right in my feels...
Mumen Rider... You had me at "Justice Crash". You had me at "Justice Crash"...
Run, if you value your life...
The frenzy has begun...
The moon is red...
We're out of time...
MC was finally a little bit less cringe with his little speech/confession to Chizuru at the end of the episode there. Too bad he can't do that be like the other 95% of the time. I wish Mami going to the apartment would have been a little more eventful but hopefully we see some more of the other girls next episode.
"Keara" for the motha f'n win. That was a glorious episode. That is how you do a trap!! So many glorious image stills in this one with trap Keyaru. They left us right at the cliffhanger though with Blade about to get her comeuppance. I hope it isn't edited down too much and given full glory like Flare's scene in Episode 2.
Holy shit. I thought it couldn't get any worse. And it got soooooo much worse. What a complete butchering of Shea's introduction arc and the Haulia/Verbergen arc. I've seen things rushed before in an anime adaptation, but this was taken to a whole new level. They literally covered more than half of an entire volume of the light novel in 1 episode and left out anything that resembled or seemed to have any semblance of importance into a 1-2 minute montage.
And the animation and character designs are still looking like complete crap. I absolutely cringe to thinking about how the rest of the series will be butchered...
Jesus f'n Christ. This anime is just straight GARBAGE. I'm so disappointed that one of my favorite series is getting butchered to this extent. The animation is definitely cringe in a lot of places thus far (misshaped faces and expressions galore), and they don't even try to explain any of the story and just rush through every single aspect of the original material. We don't get any details or introspection on Hajime and the other characters thoughts and motivations about various circumstances, situations, and anything that could be remotely considered interesting and add to the story. Instead it's a rush job of epic proportions.
Please for the love of god, read the light novel (or web novel) instead.
Another fun episode, and we got an even greater taste of the Daigo-Hikaru dynamic and a little preview of some of the rivalries that will form. I actually like the setup here so far and this is the first baseball anime that I've watched where the main protagonist isn't OP or has some hidden skill. Although I guess Daigo's hidden skill could be his "love for baseball".
We see the path on which Daigo becomes the catcher for Hikaru. While this episode had some decent moments, I'm really looking forward to the next one where Daigo undergoes special training under Kaoru-sensei. I hope we get a nice and long anime series out of this as I'm really enjoying it thus far.
Whoa. That OP is just pure FIRE. Damn. That got me so pumped up for the rest of the show. Persona games/shows always know how to make one flashy intro and that one was awesome. Loved the continuation of this episode as well. Things from the game were really well adapted, and I liked how naturally most things flowed. The battles with Personas are a little bit too video-game-esque but that's just nitpicking. I'm really excited to see first Palace all come together at the end.
Morgana sounds and acts awesome. Even Ryuji isn't too annoying so far. And Ann in that bikini... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What do both The Wall and Jon Snow have in common?
They both got "blown" away at the end ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Damn. Just got back from watching Hereditary and I don't think that I've uttered "Holy shiiiiiiiit" under my breath so many times during a single movie. This movie took creepiness to the next level and really delivered as a horror flick with minimal "jump scares". I'd definitely recommend watching this with a nice big audience because it's without a doubt an "experience" you won't forget.
I just got back from a preview showing for the new Spider-man movie, and WOW. It is LIT (pardon my language). Soooooo funny with tons of personality and a surprisingly great depth of emotion in quite a few scenes (some tears may have been shed). I love this new take on the comic book hero origin movie and the entire film just screams originality. I wasn't 100% sure on the animated look before, but it really fits into the entire setting and "alternate dimensions" premise of the movie later, which injects a ton of creativity and potential into this new film.
After Sony released Venom, I thought that they should just stop trying with the Spider-verse. However, this new film and universe gives me a completely different perspective. I can't believe something like this came from Sony...
Just got back from the new Jumanji movie, and I had a lot of fun. All of the characters were great and they had fantastic chemistry together. I loved the Rock and Kevin Hart (back from Central Intelligence), but Jack Black really stood out with the funniest and most eccentric performance by far. The setup for the movie was solid (albeit a bit simple), and it served its purpose in giving us funny scenarios for the characters. This is definitely a fun movie to watch and just enjoy for some laughs and action especially if you haven't seen the trailer (the trailer spoils a few of the funny scenes). 7/10.
Wow. This was a lot better than what I was expecting. It's not the greatest movie ever, but a ton of fun for sure, and brings back a good amount of the charm of the original movie. Blows the sequels out of the water for sure.
This is a masterpiece. Simple as that. Definitely in my top 3-5 animes of all time. This show has everything (comedy, romance, drama and, of course, tons of action). You fall in love with all of the characters and every side story and character really gets developed over 64 brilliant episodes. Don't think. Just watch.
Ohhhhh baby. The brand new HD remaster in 16:9 of all the seasons of The Wire will be airing from Dec. 26-30 on HBO. Digital versions will be available to buy on Jan 5 and the BluRay will be released in the summer. In the words of the great Senator Clay Davis, "SHHHEEEIIITTTTTT".

The Greyjoys & the Dornish: "Damn. We done fucked up. At least it can't get any worse from here."
The Tyrells: "Hold my beer."
“You’ll make a wonderful lord, and any lady would be lucky to have you. But I’m not a lady, I never have been. That’s not me.”
My own balls got blue from the ferocity of this line. Another Baratheon rejected by a Stark... shocking!!
In the past two episodes: Arya 2 "Powerful" Men 0.
I think the big question that arises after this episode is...
"Who will end up NOT making out with Archie in this series?"
I'm dying to find out!!
"The Last Man on Earth" has been an absolute riot so far through the first 3 episodes, adding its own unique comedic twist on a classic premise, and looks like it will continue to go strong throughout its first season. Will Forte is back taking on a slightly different persona from his usual MacGruber and channeling a bit of his own Tom Hanks in "Castaway".
While the first episode takes on a more serious tone, the second episode is where things REALLY take off and the show comes into its own comedically. Give this show a few episodes to see what it is really about.
Will Forte and Kristen Schaal have an instant chemistry that leaves me cringing and smiling at the same like classic "The Office" episodes featuring Michael Scott's best escapades. I can't wait until more of the rumored cast members show up and add even more wrinkles.
One last word. Fox, if you dare go "Firefly" on this show and cancel it early, I will not be pleased. That is all. Go watch this show now!!
Jamie going from Mr. "Poopay" to the king of grammar. The Zava-effect.
Serves you right, Reiner. Sayonara. Bitch.
Hopefully...
This was a very beautiful and moving film by Makoto Shinkai. As the title suggests, it is a story about a growing separation and the effects it has on childhood sweethearts, Akari and, in particular, Takaki. Even though it was only an hour long, by the end I felt like I was truly feeling the pain and longing that had dominated Takaki's life for so long. I was initially disappointed by the ending (what can I say, I'm a sucker for happy endings) but after rewatching the film, I really appreciated that they didn't go with the cliché finish. Takaki not being reunited with Akari and finally deciding to move on from his past, which till that point held down and ate away at his life, was far more powerful and resonated with the themes of the film. The animation, art and music were beautiful like in all Makoto Shinkai works. I can't think of a better way to spend an hour of my time (except, of course, maybe sending a text to my long forgotten fling).
Amazing show. Takes the whole concept of "magical girl" shows and throws it out the window. Very dark and emotional concepts thrown into a beautiful looking world with great characters. This is a must watch.
“Drooling and pooping around the house.”
“Takes after her father.”
"Come on old man. It's way past your bedtime."
Rupert already hates Bex. It's amazing :D

KORRASAMI!!!! That was the dankest of endings. What a great series. While "The Legend of Korra" wasn't as consistently good as "Avatar", I was still very entertained and loved getting more of this world. Sequel to the sequel, please?
