This episode was rather reminiscent of "Humans", the British android show based on a Swedish one.
It was very interesting to know more about Two's and the Android's (common) past. This show has always managed to keep us on our toes when it comes to the storyline (one of the strongest aspects of "Dark Matter", in my opinion).
Now, what are those shady androids up to...?
Gotta love Mrs Witty Android. »In…dispensible« xD
Amazing episode! We now know who made the blink drive... amazing
Fantastic episode! The writers did a phenomenal job setting up this episode. We now know where and who the blink drive originates, but the banter between the cast and the primitives is great.
As an aside, I think this is the first time I have seen a tv show be realistic when a door is kicked in! They actually f*cked up the door frame. The ensuing action was pretty funny.
So, pretty much the one thing keeping me from actively wishing Ryo would get killed is that the fall of his house is part of that dark future, but I'm fed up with his annoying antics.
Yeah..it was good enough. I just dont like the new Raza from the alternate reality angle
Hell yeah, my favourite sci-fi soap opera is on again!
Somewhat of a lukewarm season premiere, but I'm sure things will pick up the pace along the rest of the season.
Damn that was one hell of a cliff-hanger.
This show does the best of mixing sci-fi and action in this episode s*** just got real I love this season
Why do people think this was the season finale? Another episode aired three days ago. That's the real season ender.
[proceeds to echo the sentiments of @flytripper and @cmonster because THAT was a twist]
Did not see that coming
what the actual f**k!! Did not guess that would happen.
I enjoyed the story arc of Richard becoming like the very people he despised at the beginning. With the announcement of season 5 coming without T.J. Miller and the plot apparently focusing on Pied Piper vs Hooly again, I wonder what new elements will be brought into the fold.
The team once again was miraculously saved from its own failure because it wouldn't be much of a show if they failed or succeeded. I still enjoy watching, but I'm starting to wonder if it's not time to set up the conclusion of the show, rather than risk it becoming mediocre over time.
Come up with an awesome plan, have Richard f*ck it up, have their asses saved out of nowhere, rinse and repeat. I still loved it though. Richard talking to Dinesh telling him to "hit the most densely populated areas" like a suicide bomber was A plus stuff!
Richard telling Dinesh to go into a densely populated area xD Just as Jared pulled his headphones off hahaha. Had me laughing hard.
Amazing episode! One of the best so far.
Erlich mansplaining "mansplaining" was emblematic. Jared's quasi-schizophrenia was disturbingly funny. Gilfoyle's perseverance in being a jerk is so truthful - I think no other geek comedy show was able to accomplish such realistic portrayal of the IT people (at least in my own experience).
A great finale to a great series. You will forever have a place in my heart TL.
Nora's Story would have made for a fantastic forth season. Hats off to the Music Coordinator! The music scores were spot on.
"Now what?"
The flood didn't come, the world survived. Senior is still in shock, like the prologue to this season with the lady getting on the roof waiting to get taken. You can believe in something so much but it will always just keep disappointing you.
I'm glad Kevin finally realized he was being a coward for always running from Nora. All it took was an unfinished romance novel. He has just been killing himself to distract himself from Nora and the real world. That scene between the two Kevins was beautifully bloody (the song was perfect) and that last shot it the afterlife was very similar to Fight Club. I was so glad to see Patti and Meg again.
Kevin is now in a race against time to try and get to Nora before she uses that machine. This has always been a love story between two broken people and I hope he gets there in time but it wouldn't be the Leftovers if it wasn't depressing. Only one episode left...
What was with the penis scanner!? They even had a thud sound effect for when he used it.
This may be the twin episode to last season's "International Assasin", but to me it feels like the weirdest 'greatest hits' episode to a series ever, and ultimately might be the very best of the season up there with last week's as a result. It's a mix of everything the show has ever done, from the first season's despairing brutality (that twin scene is almost-look-away disturbing), second's evolution of adding dark humor and bewildering surreality, to this third's purposeful, music-cue-perfected, unique own thing. It's uproariously funny, full of dream logic that almost tantalizingly matches up with the main storyline fully but not quite, profoundly sad with its weird but perfect matchup of songs and grief, and just so, so magnificent. "Now what?" I have no idea, but I trust we are in too good a hand that will refuse to deviate from its own path, and thus turn out to be very satisfying at least.
it´s not over yet and I already miss this show. seen a lot of shows in life ( and will see a lot more if God allows me :P ) i don´t know how this will end, i don´t think not even the creators though about that when they started this roller-coaster ride / mind-blow / Mindfuck of a show but whatever happens this will never leave my top 5 of all time.
Best episode of the season. I still think Tariq dies before the end of the season. Good to see a storyline wrap up. We also see the quiet before the storm.
Ooou shit louis is gonna explode now
Jamie can't see the back of a royal that he's like IMMA STAB IT
This episode ticked all the boxes.
