Invasion

The first one already did not do so well, mostly excelling in original design, decent CGI and it's (attempt of) focusing on characters. Part 2 continues this tradition, but sacrifices the few good things about the first movie with just a grander scale.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons - The Movie

I almost could not finish this, and turned it off after 1 hour. But I managed to finish watching it eventually.
Even as a mindless animation action it fails.
It is just unbelievably boring and shallow. Dialogue is piss poor, Story is not terrible, but too basic to get interesting. The animation often lacks details and many corners were cut. The characters are well drawn, but anything else lacks details and movements are very choppy.
The movie just looks and feels like it lacked money at every aspect in its production. Skip this and watch some of the DCU animated movies instead.

My Spy

Boring, unfunny, poorly written and lackluster acting. Even as a family/kids movie, there are many better films out there.

'Die Hard' in space but bad.

Steve Jobs

Terrible screenplay where the same setup is repeated in every act, without really changing anything. Dialogue is good, even though it is more a couple of long conversations with time jums mashed together, but it becomes boring pretty fast if you aren't interested in the history of tech companies and/or Jobs. Thank god for Fassbender, Daniels and Rogen's great performances, otherwise it would have been even more of a pain to watch.

The Signal

Too pretentious for such an average storyline, a typical case of trying too hard.
It looks like they had too many ideas, but not the guts to choose. None of them was worked out well, so we end up with a messy movie that tries to be cool and clever while it is neither.

This Is Where I Leave You

I like Bateman, but why does he always play in these kind of weak movies?
Even with him, Tina Fey, Jane Fonda and Kathryn Hahn (great comedy cast) this movie was mostly pretty boring and did not feel realistic.
It tried to achieve a mix between comedy and drama, but even while it did make me smile at some points it wasn't that funny and failed completely as a drama with the silly flat characters and plot.

Spider-Man 3

Ridiculous movie.
The first 2 were already questionable, but this one might be the worst adaptation of DC or Marvel up until now.

Max Reload and the Nether Blasters

This low budget movie offers some lighthearted fun for gamers and fans of the 80s, although it might still be enjoyable for others too.

Expect poor acting and a ridiculous story in a reference rich environment. Fitting for the comedy of Kevin Smith and Wil Wheaton and (at least partially) funded by a kickstarter campaign. They clearly went rampant with this project, and the passion and fun everyone had while making this film jumps off the screen. So even if all else fails, at least it has that.

Clarke is a major B with moodswings where people with a personality disorder can be jealous of...
Pretty bad show with bad writing and worse dialog.
Ps. Who names a female character after Superman?

The Counselor

I couldn't believe the low rating with all those great actors, but it's true.
This movie is as boring as they get.

The only amusement came from the stupid stories Javier Bardem told.

Ms. Marvel: 1x06 No Normal

What a snorefest was this. After a promising 1st episode, the remaining 5 episodes were rushed, poorly written and generally underwhelming. A little better than the whole Moon Knight failure, but with much less interesting characters. I don't expect a WandaVision quality in every show, but let's just hope they manage to get at least back to the level of Loki, Hawkeye or Falcon a/t Winter Soldier.

Settlers

They forgot to write characters.
I am more interested in what will happen after the ending than anything happening in the movie itself.

Doors

Weird series of movie shorts (NOT a feature film) with high amounts of 'just-out-of-filmschool' feels, mixed with attempts at being Terrence Malick. Not recommended for most.

Domino

Poor film with shallow scripting, mediocre action, and uncompelling story. The characters are rather one-dimensional and many plot lines don't go anywhere. Ending is also highly unsatisfying.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

This was one of the most incoherent movies I watched in a while. I got lost so many times, that I cannot blame just myself for that anymore. Not even the best visuals would have saved this movie.

The Transporter Refueled

The worst in the movie series. Even surpassed by the first season of the TV show. too bad.

A.I. Rising

There is not enough there to make this moving interesting. They had an idea, but it is not worked out well. So we end up with a movie with little content that tries to distract with visuals that are more annoying than anything else.

Black Lightning

There are simply too many things that do not work for this show. I don't know what this show is trying to be. Luke Cage? Gotham but less silly and over the top? Amazing Spiderman 2? xD
The dialogue is often sloppy (even more than on an average CW DC show) pacing is horrible and subtlety is hard to find. As far as I can tell, this is not an intentional, dark comedic Gotham way, but in a (depending on who you ask, more) terrible way. Also the acting is of inconsistent nature, but the actors don't have much to work with anyway.

One of the few things that is working for this show is the music. I am not a hip-hop or rap fan, far from it, but even so the music was what I enjoyed most of all in the first season.

My standards for the CW DC shows are not high, they have their (big) flaws but ' Black Lightning' fails just at too many aspects and was simply a drag to get through.

Power Rangers

I wish it had a better score, because those 10 seconds of 'go go' just wasn't enough for me. For the rest, it has the same cringeworthy bad storylines (what story?) as the 90s series, the same dumb line delivery and stupid writing and the same bad acting. If I had to rate this movie based as a standalone, it would have scored much lower than the 5 it gets now. Because you do not make a good and realistic Power Rangers movie that has high standards. That would just be stupid.

A Million Ways to Die in the West

With a bad actor like Seth McFarlane in the main role it is asking for a bad movie. Many of the jokes are unoriginal and boring too. The cameo's were the best of the movie and of course Barney making a 1 line appearance.

"Thank you for keeping our secret" they said, while she did her utmost best to reveal everything about them for a news story...

Shitty movie: ugly weird looking CGI, bad plot filled with holes and stupidity, shitty dialogue, no character development, useless characters, dumb origin stories etc etc etc. When will Michael Bay quit making movies?

WIll Arnett's bad jokes are probably the best thing about this movie.

Somewhere

That was pretty pointless...

I expected a drama with heavy character development but with a very minimalistic take. At least I got that last part right. Besides the acting (especially by Elle Fanning) this was a waste of time.

Summer in February

Even though this movie has a wonderful setting and some wonderful shots of the raw nature around Cornwall, the story just isn't interesting enough to keep you entertained.

The first part is rather messy with introducing the characters, so when the the story really takes off you have the feeling they skipped over a lot (which they don't.) What happens next is still very predictable and the lack of interesting dialog makes the movie pretty boring.

But they made a good choice with Emily Browning. She has a noteworthy performance with her impressive subtle acting. Being able to show so much (realistic) expression changes and emotional depth proofs how good she can be on the screen. It saves the movie from being a complete waste, and makes you realize how underrated she is as an actress.
