Good Girls: Season 1

This show is such a welcome treat! Fell in love with these women from the get go.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: Season 2

Season 2 topped Season 1! I really really liked this season, the plot twist halfway through and especially all the new characters like Olivia and my favorite: Esmé (I just love her!).
More unfortunate events, more Count Olaf, more singing, more evil plans, just more of everything!

But seriously, big thumbs up to Lucy Punch because she brought Esmé to life in the most IN way ;)

Unbelievable: Season 1

I've watched this entire story thinking 'unbelievable', how does this happen?
Casting was brilliant. I don't think there is anything else I can say other than that I highly recommend everyone to watch this.

Making a Murderer: Season 1

Very interesting docu. I felt angry that the justice system can fail a person so badly but it also left me questioning all sorts of things. It does feel a little bit weird that half of the world is watching this for their entertainment when many people involved in this docu have actually gone/are going through hell but it's good that this story is being told as there are probably many many more of these stories.

American Horror Story: Season 10

I'm only giving this season 5 stars because the first half was okay-ish and because they've cast that part great. The second part was garbage, absolute garbage. This was by far the worst season in the whole of the AHS universe.

After Life: Season 3

This show is something else. It's so relatable and not just to people dealing with grief. For me it hit home as someone who continuously struggles with mental health issues. It's honest and raw at times but also endearing, beautiful and heartwarming.
The end had me in tears... well to be honest, the whole show had me in tears and not all where sad tears.
Ricky Gervais wrote a masterpiece.

American Horror Story: Season 6

I actually think this season was one of the best when it comes to being crazy scary. A lot of jump scares and where other seasons started to get less scary with each episode because backstory got clear, this one kept me on edge.
I love how the season took a different turn in the middle and I love the whole characters playing characters. HOWEVER, I do think the last two episodes were rather weak and could've been better. They felt rushed.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 7

Netflix finally granted us with season 7 and I binged it like there was no tomorrow. I'm never disappointed by this show. So much happening in this season! Can't believe I'll only have one more season, ten episodes, left :(

The Blacklist: Season 5

This season felt like a new beginning. Since we now know that Red is Liz's father the dynamic has shifted and I really enjoyed seeing the two of them interact differently throughout this season. Also to have Tom's death foreshadowed from the start and actually happen in the middle of the season was a great move. The hunt for Garvey that followed was really cool and I actually felt a bit sad that it was over because I think the actor who portrayed Garvey is fantastic.
The ending of the season brings a whole new depth to the show and is a great opening for new exciting stories.

American Horror Story: Season 8

I really enjoyed this season. I have a weakness for all of these witches so I was excited to see them again but also some of the Murder House characters (I just wish we got to see a little bit more of the Murder House characters but that's just a small detail). Cody Fern should become a series regular, his portrayal of Michael Langdon is fantastic and also yes, because he is a damn fine snack.
Sarah Paulson absolutely stole the show with all three of her characters!

I agree that the season could have been scarier, grander, it was a bit timid but the storytelling made up for that in my opinion. To start with recent events already in place and do most of the seasons through flashbacks was a great move, they kept a sense of mystery this way and it all tied together nicely at the end
Amongst all those familliar faces I did miss Dennis O'Hare though...

Once Upon a Time: Season 7

When I began this season it didn't really feel like the OUAT I knew and loved but halfway through I started to really love some of the new characters (Alice, Robin, Gothel) and stuck with it. By the end I felt heartbroken to say goodbye to this show once again.

Jacinda however remains the most boring character ever and I wished they would've given Henry a different love story than this one.

The Haunting of Bly Manor: Season 1

If you expect this to be like Hill House, it isn't. It has a house packed with ghosts, yes, but the story is in every way different. Where Hill House is more on the thriller, ghost story genre, Bly Manor is more a tragic set of love stories enriched with ghosts. Both stories however have ghosts that serve a purpose and move the story forward, they aren't just there for the sake of the scary factor. The way the ghosts represent certain things is well done (again).

I know Bly Manor got a lot of backlash, maybe people expected to much Hill House vibes. For me it was a beautiful story and I truly enjoyed it. The sense of mystery, the pacing of the story, the characters and the way it was told. It is also clear from the very start that this isn't just another ghost story so if you're looking for just that, move along but if you want to hear a story about tragedy, misfortune, love and death, this is the story for you.

Stranger Things: Season 1

This show is amazing! The young actors are so talented and bring this interesting, mysterious story to life. The 80s vibe in the show is great, makes it nostalgic to watch. Interesting characters, each bring something to the table but big thumbs up to Millie Bobbie Brown (Eleven) who is truly a very gifted young actress who captured me right from the start.
I was always on edge and never dissapointed, can't wait to see season 2 next year!

All of the episodes are great but that season finale was mind blowing!

Sex Education: Season 4

A lot of mixed reviews about this final season. Some really dislike it but I personally really enjoyed this season. The way they wrapped it up feels very realistic. We have to remember that these are mostly teenagers around the age of 17-18 and for example Maeve going to America, not ending up with Otis, it's very realistic and much better than her sacrificing her future for a boy.
Adam and Michael Groff now hold a very special place in my heart. The way this story came sort of full circle was by far the best thing about this whole season for me.

Aimee, Adam and Eric carried this season for me.
Some parts did feel a bit rushed because they chose to focus on a lot of new characters which is a pity. This way Jackson didn't get enough time for a story that could have been very emotional if it was written with more screentime in mind. Same counts for Viv and Cal. But all in all I really enjoyed this season. It tackled some major things but kept it's lighthearted side to it. Well done.

Yellowjackets: Season 1

Great first season. The pilot immediately sucked me in and every episode after gave away new directions, hints or new questions to where the story is going. Casting is fantastic! The older versions really resemble the teens, all very skilled actors. The finale does a great job at creating new story arcs for the second season, intensifying the mystery. I'm soooo glad Jackie is gone. She really annoyed me. Her death was cruel, actually really well written because they could have so easily made it gruesome and over the top but instead went with this quite death that in light of these characters and the things Shauna said to her made it brutal and tragic.

The Witcher: Season 3

A really weak season. The pacing was incredibly slow, slower than the previous seasons and sure, Ciri is a very important character (story wise the most important one) but I really would've loved to have seen more of the lesser characters such as Cahir, Fringilla and Tissaia.
There was one episode that stuck out (3x06) and was the only good episode this season. Tissaia's death was understandable but felt rushed.
First half of the season was a build-up toward episode 6 and after that it was build up for the next season. Oh, and definitely not a good farewell to Henry Cavill. They didn't do him justice in his last scene.

13 Reasons Why: Season 3

I really loved this season. Yes, they went in a new direction by creating a murder mystery but it was very well written and still focused on the core message of the show. I love how everyone came together this season. This season was like previous dark but the main difference was that this season also focused on survival. Tyler for example, Hannah chose to die there was a lot of aftermath to be dealt with but with Tyler you see a positive outcome which brings back some hope for people who struggle with similair problems. Same counts for Jessica and Justin.

Good season but not the best. Andrew Scott was brilliant.
All episodes lacked depth in my opinion.

Prison Break: Season 5

This season wasn't necessary, the story was already completed however, I so did enjoy seeing these characters again and even though the plot was meh, it gave me all of those prison break feelings again. Plus, this ending.. My heart. Yes.

The Blacklist: Season 6

I really enjoyed this season. I love the twist they brought last season that Red is an imposter and this season continued that nicely. Also the episode centered around Katarina, yes yes yes!
Everyone brought their A Game again.

American Horror Story: Season 5

Lady Gaga is a welcome new face to the show, she is no replacement for Jessica Lange though. I liked the story of this season a lot. Creepy killer, creepy hotel. I wished some of the actors would've had bigger parts to play, like Finn Wittrock, Sarah Paulson and Angela Bassett.

American Horror Story: Season 4

It wasn't as scary as the earlier seasons but I loved this one just as much as the others, mostly because of Dandy Mott.
