I'm seeing some negative reactions in here. Well, I quite liked it tbh. Had me glued to the screen the whole time. Maybe I don't remember the quality of seasons 1-5 or maybe I'm just happy with little, who knows. Everyone seems to hate this season and I have to say I'm not 100% happy with it. BUT. I really liked this episode. Anyway, what can I say.
He's back ! Vader enters the picture and immediately the heat is literally turned up. One shot, one breath of him has more weight as ten minutes from the Third Sister.
I had not imagined that him and Obi-Wan would meet that early. And now we have the question of continuity. There has to be another meeting because that one could not have been what Vader was describing in Ep IV (with Obi-Wan being the Master and he the apprentice). Yes, those things matter to me. But as one-sided as the duel here was it had me on the edge of my seat. The lightsabers in the dark, the musical score, Vaders voice - that was an amazing sequence.
How on earth did Reva get past Leia ? There is one tunnel leading to where the pilot was waiting and she had to pass Leia to get there first. Yet she was there waiting, the pilot already dead.
All in all by far the best episode. Obi-Wan talking about Padme and his memories of his own family was another great scene.
Now I'm hyped.
They'll just build a new one... and make the White Walkers pay for it.
That was seriously some of the best star wars i have seen TO DATE. PERIOD. BAR NONE. This show is fantastic!
how bright was the lightsabers my god. My oled tv and those lightsabes *chefs kiss

Parallelism between Season 1 Episode 1 and Season 8 Episode 1
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
S08E01 Jon: "Where's Arya?" Sansa: "Lurking somewhere."Foreshadowing (from different Seasons/Episodes.)
01.
S03E05“ “Let’s not go back. Let’s stay here a while longer,” Ygritte tells Jon. “I don’t ever want to leave this cave, Jon Snow.” S08E01 “We could stay a thousand years. No one would find us,” Daenerys says to Jon.02.
Sam is suggesting rebelling against the Targaryen because they burned his father and brother alive. Similar to when Robert's Rebellion, began when Rhaegar Targaryen, allegedly abducted Robert's betrothed, Lyanna Stark.
Ending was so damn exciting.... Guess you have to wait for the next episode to confirm that Jamie is dead or not...
I don't think he's dead tbh
Totally Ninja episode
I choked on my chapati when Gong Yoo showed up LOL.
FUCK YOU JOHN WALKER STEVE ROGER'S LEGACY IS NOT EVEN REMOTELY GETTING BLOOD ON HIS SHIELD BECAUSE YOU KILLED A MAN WITH IT, YOU PIECE OF SHIT.
GodDAMN this show is just not pulling its punches.
For the love if shit, people. Without the first 3 episodes we wouldn't have this episode. Without the first 3 episodes this one wouldn't be as impactful. It's storytelling and all part of a larger whole. Stop saying, "finally we're getting somewhere," or "this is what the show should have been from the start." Its a journey. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Holy shit.
Critics everywhere were saying this show is the worst Marvel show, the worst Netflix show...are they insane? That's all I have to say about that. Sounds like they were talking about Luke Cage or something, because Iron Fist is pretty awesome.
Someone move this episode to special instead of season 1
If you missed the after credits go back and watch them !
Damn, I'd what a movie out of this
Ironic how this is the 13th episode
This is so sad, Alexa play The Ghost Of You by my chemical romance
I usually do not watch TV episodes till after the credits roll but there is actually an after credits scene here that noone should miss!
Have people not realize yet that this is a low stakes, stand-alone kind of show?
"adds nothing to the MCU". No shit!
Does everything have to be fucking connected? Lighten up, DUDES.
props to my boy Dylan G for holding that position for what seemed like an eternity!
bro, where are they going to take this in season 3. im so intrigued, i have no idea!
I f*king cried, Luke at the end & R2 ?! best episode ever. This even tops the sequel triolgy for me. You know, this even makes 2020 a good year. 10/10
Someone watched Avengers Endgame while on weed and wrote the script for season 3.It was a hard suffering to complete this season.Please cancel if you don't have enough to keep it interesting.I don't want to hate this series more.
That was a twist I wasn't expecting but should have been. This was possibly more captivating than the premiere. But there is a slight, lingering feeling of confusion within me. I guess I'm more alert if that's even the right word, cautious, perhaps, when it comes to the past, present, and future because of watching The Witcher, so maybe that's more of a burden. It's making me wrongfully preoccupied instead of paying attention. Anyway, the events in this episode are after the events of the premiere, correct? The whole chess match between Dracula and Agatha made it seem like it was in the past, his past. Oh, and another thing, did the latter even happen? The way I see it, or rather, the way I'm guessing it to be, is that the chess match wasn't real, never happened, or it did but not in an ordinary sense, like it was a dream happening during the present events on the ship. I'm not sure. What are your thoughts?
This episode may have been the cutest thing I have seen on TV, and it completely sustains my opinion that the addition of Mayim Bialik to the main cast was the best decision TBBT producers ever made.
Mark Hamill was super funny, and it was great to see him on TV, but I laughed the most at Kripke singing at the end, John Ross Bowie is just so hilarious! He had about 20 seconds of screen time, and still he managed to be unforgettable!
"Everyone! Remain calm! The Crypts are perfectly SAFE!!!!! I repeat, the CRYPTS ARE SAFE!!"
THINGS THAT MADE THIS EPISODE F*CKIN AMAZING:
- Getting to see the dragons in action was truly beautiful;
- Dany and Yara interaction was GOLD;
- The battle was very very very good. Tense and visually stunning. I couldn't breathe throughout it;
- Ramsey FINALLY being killed and ultimately by Sansa;
- >>>Sansa's character development!!!!<<<<
- Rickon dying as well was awful, but I can't say it was a wasted death nor a bad executed scene.
S06 was worth it mainly because of this entire episode. Still can't believe how good it was. I hope the finale is even better.
“Just to know ! Does this season has woke stuff?? So i can skip like the other season”
Last season was about the AIDS epidemic. Gay people do not equal woke. I highly suggest you figure out the correct use of the term or stay far away from everyone.
THEY PROMISED ME ZOMBIES AND ALL I HAVE NOW IS DEPRESSION
What a beautiful episode, I don't remember an episode like this for years, very well done, just perfect.
Which version do you prefer? The Game or the Show? I will have to go with the show, its more happy, kinda.
The episode's title, "Old White Men", refers to senior executives of Walgreens, getting swindled by Elizabeth and Sunny. All the warning signs were there, but their fear of missing out and stupidity win over common sense and logic.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth sells her soul, digging deeper into the point of no return, as she chooses her company's short-term financial survival over long-term success and reputation.
It is often painful to watch this episode, knowing full well that her jurors recently found her guilty on only lesser charges.
