This movie it's like a hamburger from McDonald's. Tastes fine, but it's mass-produced and forgettable. If you ask me tomorrow, probably the only thing I will remember is, that it looked pretty. Nothing else.
It was really hard to root for the main character, as she had no setbacks or challenges the whole time. Everything just worked out. While everyone was dying around her, she did not even get a scratch. Even Superman has always that moment when you think he could lose. There was no such moment here.
I turned this off after 15 minutes. I value my time more than this is worth it.
Movies like this make me feel old. I can remember the times when Bruce Willis would mean a good movie or at least an entertaining one. Now it just means that it's trash one can just skip. Good old times.
It was not bad, compared to Black widow this was a masterpiece. But it just felt like when you see a painting, painted by numbers. It can look fine, but it has no soul, no creativity. The story was nothing new, the characters were not new. It's like watching a movie you have seen many times before, just with new actors. How many times can you have some ancient evil that was closed away released, and the main character has to fight it. They always mention a better story, as a legend, and then show something worse. Why can't we see that? Where it all started.
But I think this movie deserves an award. Award for the most pointless character in a Marvel movie. The character of Katy felt so pointless, that even the movie forgot about her for most of it.
It's not bad but feels stale. This heist-style movie has been done so many times before. Thinking about it, just two weeks ago, still on Netflix, with Army of thieves. It's just forgettable.
Also, I'm starting to wonder if, when they sew Ryan Reynolds mouth shut in X-men, if they did not stumble on a very good idea. I just wanted him to finally shut up, the whole movie. I know that Deadpool was popular, but does he have to be the same character in every movie? Was fun for a while, but now it's getting old really quickly.
Definitively better than Army of the Dead. But even here the DOF feels off in a lot of scenes, but not as bad as before. Somebody, please teach Zack how to change the aperture on a lens.
The movie is at its best as it follows the main character. He is realistic, funny, relatable. I wish the movie would follow him all the time and the whole movie was from his point of view. The moment it goes to the other team members, it's not as good. The "team" is stuffed with a superhero, a caricature, and two throw-away characters. Especially I would really like if they stopped dressing hackers as clowns. I think this stereotype should finally die.
Not really a criticism, but as I visited a lot of places where this was recorded, I know that some of them are not close to each other, and the characters "teleporting" between them in the movie was very distracting to me.
It started really well and then went with full speed off the cliff. I would give the first half a 9, the second a 5. So 7 on average.
I was expecting more clever games as they progressed, but it went the other way. The whole tone shifted after the 4th episode and not for the best. And whose idea was there to incorporate flashbacks for characters that were just introduced minutes ago. Nobody cares. You have main characters, how about focusing on them. But no, they were sidelined for the whole second half.
Nothing new here, but quite ok dark comedy.
A fun comedy series with very likable characters. Really enjoyed this one. Now I just have to hope that someone really makes the Express bus to Busan :)
Not sure if I would call it a comedy, but I enjoyed it quite a lot. Takes a bit to get going but that is just better and better.
Ok mystery, a bit slow-paced and bloated, but a rewarding ending.
I don't know if I have seen so many movies already, but the killer was almost exactly what I thought it will be. But the ending left me with a bigger question. Was the ending the reality, or it was a created fake memory? So a Total Recall situation. Because the premise and the ending could be easily explained in that way.
Some great action, mixed in with a bit of military propaganda.
I was really surprised when the main cast lost their plot armor. Did not expect that at all.
It started ok, but it went downhill quite quickly. Few funny moments, nice effects, and the main story line taken from Tron.
Hollywood should just forget about video games. Stop adapting them, stop mentioning them at all. If they can't even adopt a fake one, just stop. Did the writer of this trash even play a game or seen one? Who was this for? For the developers that they portray as idiots? Or the gamers showed to be little kids? They even put streamers into it. Yes, I want more low-quality content in the movie.
Interesting movie, but very obvious. The first idea that I had about what will happen, was the conclusion to the movie.
An ok movie, but lacking in any motivation. Why are the characters behaving as they do? Where are the reasons? Where is the backstory? You are thrown in a middle of a story without any explanation. And I don't count those two throwaway lines about the antagonist (you will see which ones, as that's the whole description about him) as a motivation. Could have been better if they made characters, not just cardboard cutouts.
I just could not force myself to finish this movie. After the first hour is just skipped most of the rest. Bloated with annoying characters and horrible acting. The only plus I saw was the design of the mechs, nothing else. Just watch Predator instead.
This movie stands completely on the performance of the main character. And I think Rebecca Hall was quite convincing. A good horror movie but maybe they could forget about the jump scares next time.
I rewatched the trailer afterward to be sure, and I really found it and the name misleading. The whole house and the mirror house/world concept play's a very little role in the movie, and it left me a bit disappointed. I expected more of this alternative reality stuff.

Looks like they took a big inspiration in Prometheus, some plot points are quite the same. The alien virus, the plotting android that tries to kill them. Maybe not the best movie to be inspired by.

The whole time I had a feeling that I am watching a new Fast and Furious movie, just with Chinese actors. And that's mostly what it is, a lot of cars, action and bad acting. But they have Jacking Chan, and that's always a plus. Mostly, fun and entertaining action movie. Not the best, not the worst.
I seen this movie few time, and even on repeated watching is still captivating. the idea behind it is great and makes you think. There is s bit of overacting here and there, probably due to some parts being adlibbed, but overall it's not that bad.
A fun action movie. Is it a masterpiece? no. Will you enjoy the time spend with it? yes. Exactly what I expected from the premise
No story really to speak of, but the CGI and the fights looked great. Ant that's really the only reason to watch this movie, and what I wanted from it.
Great pirate movie, even if a bit too much inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean. Still, great characters and many funny moments.
Update: After watching it few more times, I now like it more than Pirates of the Caribbean (just not the sequel, that was bad)

A cross between Dantes Peak and Jurassic Word. Entertaining, but with quite the shallow characters, that like to behave like idiots.
If there is something big and dangerous behind you, you don't stop the car to wait, to take a better look.

I love time travel movies, and this is probably my favorite (together with Time Crimes and Primer). It's fun, with likable characters and it adheres to the proposed time travel logic. I saw it many times, and I enjoyed it every time. You have to pay close attention to what is going on.
Beautiful movie, but not a comedy. Definitively not a comedy...
