Jealousy, Lust. Etc.
Hell Girl.
I know the first thing you see is the bad rating. But i ask you to trust me when i say this is a good movie - actually a great movie. And the actors are amazing, like Rajit Kappor made me want to become violent because of how annoying they were, and i don't care what you say, being able to make people want to kill your character is a skill. I'm gonna be honest the minute i heard the whitewashed Hindi (being compared to the normal Hindi) i knew this would have a lot of detail, and it did.
I think the only real problem is that they focused on the coming out a lot, but barely explained the backstory like the kiss behind a wall (with a little peek window) was not enough, i needed to know more about Pallevi's younger days
Came back here just to ask: you guysssss - 3rd season WHEN?? We need 3rd season, okay??
Super cute and hilarious. I'm loving it so far!
Ok, so edit after finishing season 1: yes, this drama is cute and hilarious, but it's so much more than that. Here I am jumping through the roof, excited, worried, angry, annoyed, happy and heartbroken, as if all that's happening were happening to me. Changed my rating from 9 to 10 because this one is a genuine gem, a precious darling that's going straight to my favorites.
Second edit after finishing Season 2: I'm even more excited, swooped, annoyed, happy and heartbroken this time. Not sure how this could be possible, but here we are. It's still a 10, and I really hope we get season 3 because otherwise I have no idea what I am to do with all these feelings.
Oh, and p.s. to Yumi: Honey, if you don't want Yu Babi, can you please send him my way? Thanks!
That was so good!
I love how it touched upon the various controversial aspects of the original's story in a tropey yet entertaining way! There were several new characters, all with their own backstories and unique screen personalities, and I truly enjoyed watching their journeys in this fan-made sequel to Zootopia. The main case around which this sequel revolved around was a piece of art! Although the animation was not in a film-like style, it really hit the spot with expressions and everything visual! The music was amazing and the voice acting? It was spot-on.
I don't remember the last time I watched a fanfiction that was this good. A must-watch.
A cute story with great acting, zero drama and with no hateful characters, this will make your heart flutters... for real!
I'm very thankful that Japan as well as other asian countries are being more open to make LGBT+ stories, this was a huge project with a lot of budget and great actors and for most of us it's one of the best BL's of the year if isn't the best one.
I'm not gonna be dissappointed by the last scene because I'm expecting a second season.
A delightful, ambitious and fun Disney animated film. Definitely their best politically correct movie. That has a smart story about racism while being entertaining without making you roll your eyes.
I was one of the lucky few to attend an early screening, and I must say, this is one of the best Disney movies EVER! The quality of the animation is beyond compare. The story is balanced with deep moments and really great comedic bits, and I couldn't stop myself laughing at each joke and meta-joke the movie threw at me. The cast is great, it's uncanny how much life they are able to give to these anthropomorphic animals. I'm definitely going to see it again when it premieres in a few weeks!
One of the best movies that Disney has made. The visuals and animation is incomparable to any studio (except Disney itself with Pixar) and the story is so well balanced, with (meta-)comedy and drama/suspense mixed so well together. The voice actors really makes you believe in a world where animals can be anthropomorphic and live in a society. A must-watch for children but also anyone who appreciate the beauty of animated storytelling.
Watching the trailer, I knew this was going to be a funny show. While it was as funny as I thought, I wasn't expecting to be hit with the feels so hard. Also, her dad was awesome and I wish I had a dad like hers.
Simple yet therapeutic. It does not have that complicated kind of plot but you will learn a lot about how to be a decent human being.
First of all, AWESOME OST. Secondly, I'M FREAKIN' IN LOVE!
The ratings are no joke, this show totally did not let my heart take a break even once. It's exciting, cute, emotional, comedic and detailed; all at the same time. GO watch it! (I'm at a loss for words, actually)
The OST, background music, acting, direction, cinematography, casting, dialogues, cut-scenes. Everything about this series was right!
There are so many things I could cover, I don't know where to start due to the sheer perfection of this show. Apart from the incredible acting and cinematography, one that surpassed many good dramas and was also my favourite, the storyline was well-thought and the ending fulfilling. FreenBecky's on-screen chemistry was too good for their first time, and the character dynamics were just amazing. The show actively addressed the problems faced by the LGBTQ community and the fact that there is retribution for all homophobes, very adequately (and more solidly than any other drama I've watched).
I'd definitely reset my mind to rewatch it if I could. Must-watch!
I been waiting more than a year to this drama to air, I can’t believe is already there:sob: The first GL in Thailand im so excitedd. This will make history and definitely open more doors to others GL proyects:heart:
One of my favourite Thai BLs of all time. This series is so cute and I love the acting, I can tell that this pair is off to great things!
This is a high school series in the truest sense, it’s very clean in terms of explicit content so if you’re a fan of spicy BLS, this may not be the one for you but the story is so sweet that I enjoyed it regardless.
This is also one of few shows where the songs in the show are genuinely AMAZING, one of the songs is now my most played song of the year. Highly recommend!
This movie was an interesting take on mental illnesses and their awareness. Since I have only watched the movie, I only know about the story from it. The ending was not something I would have expected, that is the fact that that the worms and humans could actually coexist and the doctor probably had some sort of scheme going on. Although sweet-sounding like a happy ending, I have my doubts about it. I don't know, but I liked the movie anyway.
Overall, it was a good watch. It started off promising with amazing acting, cinematography and an interesting plot. But ended up as an average sci-fi romance with nothing more than a mediocre ending instead. The first half had me quite invested, which is also probably why it was hard to stomach its simple ending. Honestly, I had expected a bomb ending which, happy or not, satisfied the logic and quality that the film had adhered to so far.
7 is a pretty good score either way
It is pretty good if you're looking for a ~cringy teenage~ drama, but if you've read the webtoon history you'ill be a little dissapointed srry to tell u :/ However I recommend it if you're looking for a drama to enjoy and see some good looking faces
I feel the need to scream this: SHOULD'VE BEEN GAYER!
Entertaining, enriched and inspiring
This show had the effortless quality most TV shows cannot pull off these days. As an audience, I felt like the story content in the drama was at par with that of crime thrillers—and this was just a rom-com!
Slice of life meets animation meets reality
Yumi's Cells achieved something we rarely see on K-dramas, capture life as it is, with an outstanding adapted screenplay, flawless direction and edition and perfect characterization, both Kim Goeun and Ahn Bohyun deserves all the praising from the media and the public as well as every person in the making of the animation and voice actors. This drama will be forever in my heart, if I could gave it a 1000 I would.
Don’t trust the good reviews. 80% of this show is the equivalent of watching paint dry. You. Will. Feel. Every. Minute. That. Passes. Unnecessarily long and boring.
Too many fillers ruined the story and characters, I found myself forcing me to finish this, waiting for something good to happen but never came, the main couple was boring and lack chemistry, Lee Rang's story was way more entertained so only the story around him was kinda enjoyable, a huge dissappointment.
My score: 5.8/10
The second half of this season contained more storyline than the entire franchise combined.
I won't consider this a great sequel to its predecessor, at least in terms of overall quality. The first half had no coherence and many scenes had bad tropes/stereotypes, while the second half of it had me taken. By episode 4, I found myself not wanting to watch further. Yet I saw it through till the end and I didn't regret it.
The acting was superb as always, by both the main leads and the supporting characters. The core story in this season was more mature than the first, and I was pleasantly surprised by the second half. Especially so after the disaster the first half was. As a result, it felt rushed. The direction and writing for this season could have been better too. Overall, I am not sure whether I'll re-watch this season, although the story is worth a mention! Besides, the music and cinematography were on point.
As long as you have some patience with dramas, I think it deserves a chance!
I love this movie! Calling this a cartoon makes me feel ashamed, so I ended up adding it to two lists. Everything about it was perfect. The music, the animation, the animated emotions, the fluid movements, the setting and storyline, and EVERYTHING in between! I loved Anya and Dimitri's duo dynamic, both before and after; not to mention Vlad and Pooka's chemistry was the best cute relief!
The score-reducers were the smaller details, like how Dimitry accepted his love for Anya only after her "transformation" into a princess and subsequently, how his behaviour towards her also made a 180-degree spin. But given the time during which this movie is set and given all other specifics, I can understand how his behaviour was not really offensive, but rather quite understandable. So that brings me back to where I started: this movie is perfection!
Must watch for all age groups!
This movie rendered me silent...speechless. To think that people actually did this, still do this. To think that kids actually went through this, still go through this. Humans are so freaking disgusting and disappointing, and this movie portrayed that so. damn. well. The leads were terrific, especially the child actors, and the movie portrayed everything so well- albeit heartrendingly so. WATCH!
I completely agree. After watching this, i have to redefine my Korean top three. But i'm not sure i can ever watch it again. Literaly had to pause it every few minutes to catch my breath.
Hint: Look it up on Wikipedia and read about the aftermath of the movie release. At least some justice was done. Cinema is best when it gets the truth out there and set things in motion for the better.
Absolute banger! Although I cringed hard over the clichés and shook my head for not ditching the series [initially], I eventually found myself enjoying it much more than I thought I would. I loved how the comic scenes made me laugh until my stomach hurt, and the acting brought emotion to my eyes. The OST was also decent :smile_cat:. I do feel that the series had plotholes and loose ends to name a few, but I suppose they intended to keep it that way for a reason.
I wondered whether I should just give it an 8 because of the utter enjoyment, but I guess 7 is not a bad score either. Overall what I do know undoubtedly is that I loved the series! I can't say I recommend it strongly, but I think it'll be worth the watch. It is light-hearted but also filled with time-tested clichés, entertaining and inspirational but lacks coherence [at times].
But I liked it lol
A second season? I wouldn't take a no for an answer, thank you!
I absolutely loved this masterpiece (judging from the score), until the internet decided to traumatise me and I realised some possibly shady stuff going on behind the screens...
